Today I left work at 1 pm to use up some of my paid time off. I decided to go for a bike ride on my cross bike, but my first choice had a long line of over 10 people, and my second choice was closed for the day... My luck doesn't seem to be changing, haha. In the end, I ended up at my third choice, but it was already past 1:40. I usually come to this place right after it opens on weekends or at night, so it's my first time visiting on a weekday afternoon. The restaurant was almost full when I arrived. Today's lunch curry was a chicken stew curry, which I love, so I ordered the B lunch with cheese on top in a regular size. I like my curry really spicy, so I went for the super spicy level 6. This place is a sister restaurant to Clock in Maruyama Nishi machi. It's great to be able to enjoy the taste of a famous restaurant nearby. As someone who only eats roux curry, this place is a gem for me. It's close to Kita 18-jo station, and you often see Hokkaido University students here. The curry here, like KEN on Kanko-dori, is light on ingredients but focuses on rich and flavorful roux. The chicken was tender, and the rich roux and cheese mixed together perfectly. Even at super spicy level 6, it was quite spicy but refreshing without being overwhelming. However, the restaurant was relatively small, and it was quite crowded today, so I couldn't really relax and enjoy my meal. I think I'll try visiting again outside of lunch hours and go for a spicier level like 8 next time.

I have been to Clock at Twin Peaks, but this is my first visit here! As expected, the best curry in Sapporo is from Clock! Delicious. Rich flavor, but not too heavy to finish. I want to try a different menu next time at this curry restaurant.

B Lunch (Curry + Cheese): 1,200 yen
Drink: 50 yen (first drink)
Today's curry was pork belly curry. The rice portion was normal but slightly more (felt like 250g), and it was slightly firm to complement the curry. The curry was simple, with no additional ingredients like potatoes, just pork belly and cheese. Simple is best, and it was very delicious. A Lunch without cheese is 1,000 yen. It may be over 1,000 yen for lunch, but it is worth it. The first drink is 50 yen, which is a good deal.

I ordered the Ombee Curry Spicy (¥1750) at Ombee Curry. It consists of an omelette and beef served on a flat plate, with the curry sauce provided in a separate dish. The sauce was very fruity and even though it was spicy, it still had a hint of sweetness. It had a base taste similar to Vermont Curry, with a fruity richness. If you prefer spicier dishes, I recommend choosing a spicier level than the spicy option.
The curry sauce had no chunks of ingredients, everything seemed to be completely dissolved. The beef on top of the rice was tough, with a jerky-like texture in some parts. The omelette was firm on the outside but slightly gooey inside, with the cheese stretching nicely and tasting delicious.
The portion of rice was quite generous at 250g, so it felt like a lot. I'm not sure if they offer a smaller portion as it's not mentioned on the menu, but if they do, I would opt for that next time as I tend to focus more on the side dishes than the rice.
The restaurant had tables for 4 to 2 people and a sunken seating area, all decorated with cute and calming items. Each table was set with silverware, a bell, paper napkins, and a red Fukujinzuke.
I visited on a Friday around 8 pm and it wasn't crowded, with only 2 groups of women and 1 man dining. The location is convenient, just a 3-minute walk from Kita 18-jo Station on the Sapporo Municipal Subway Namboku Line.
You can opt for a larger portion of curry sauce or add toppings according to your preference, although there are no condiments on the table for flavor customization. The menu offers a lot of flexibility, but considering the price, I would visit when I have a bit more budget. I'm interested in trying their seafood dishes next time, like shrimp or other seafood options. Thank you for the meal!

I finally visited this place after not being able to go for a while! The fluffy omelette and deep-fried vegetables were delicious! I wished I could make such omelettes at home while finishing my meal. You can also choose the level of spiciness. I chose a mild one, but later asked for some spiciness, which they kindly provided. The curry is generally a bit sweet, so if you like it spicy, it's okay to go for a spicier option from the start.

After a long time, I felt like eating the curry at Clock's Ruka, so I decided to visit. Since it was a bit far from Maruyama, I chose this place instead. I entered and ordered the A lunch set, which happened to be the stewed chicken curry today. It took about 10 minutes for the order to arrive. I started with a bottled cola and then the curry arrived promptly. I dug in right away. As always, the fruity Ruka curry was delicious. Personally, it is one of the top 3 curry places in the city for me. It was incredibly delicious today as well.

Clock G, Kita 18-jo, Sapporo
I tried the Sapporo deep-fried vegetables and cheese omelette curry (1650 yen) with 6 times the spiciness, but it wasn't particularly spicy! I'll try 8 times next time. The price has gone up a bit!! The taste is consistently delicious! And the cheese omelette is always perfect. The beauty is overwhelming, as if it knows how beautiful it is. If you don't eat this cheese omelette, there's no point in coming to Clock G. The roux is also full of the umami of plenty of vegetables and fruits. This is the European-style curry that everyone loves! There is a parking lot nearby with a system where you can get a ticket for one hour. There are also three seats in a raised seating area. It's nice that they are open continuously. It was a little past 2:30 on a holiday, and it took less than 10 minutes from ordering to serving. There were about 3 groups of customers before me, and 1 group came in later.

Visited during a curry expedition in Sapporo. Located just a short walk from Kita 18-jo Station on the Namboku Line from Sapporo Station. Ordered the Beef Curry (spicy level: very spicy) for 1050 yen and a hot coffee for 250 yen (discounted by 200 yen for ordering a meal). The beef curry and rice were served separately. The beef was placed on top of the rice. The restaurant uses curry roux prepared at their main branch in Maruyama, which was thick, rich, and delicious. The beef was tender and melted in the mouth. Despite its simple appearance, the curry was very tasty. Enjoyed a hot coffee after the meal, savoring the lingering taste of the delicious curry. Thank you for the meal.

Deep-fried vegetable beef curry with cheese topping for 1600 yen was delicious. I'm not a fan of spicy food, so I'm not sure if this will be helpful for everyone, but the curry had a slightly sweet fruit flavor with a "normal" level of spiciness and a baked curry-like taste with the cheese topping. It might be unconventional, but in this world, being able to enjoy everything deliciously makes you feel happy, right? It was delicious. I will definitely go back. Also, I just started using Tabelog! Please follow me if you like! I will follow you back~

I visited the restaurant after finishing work on Saturday. It was around lunchtime and there were a few other customers there. When it comes to curry in Sapporo, the name "Clock" always comes up. The restaurant is located in Maruyama, a bit far from the city center where I work, so I haven't been able to go there. I discovered this place and decided to try Clock's curry for the first time. According to the menu, the curry is prepared at the main store in Maruyama, so you can enjoy the same taste here. This time, since it was my first time and I wasn't sure, I ordered the Beef Cheese Curry without changing the spiciness level. It was served to me in about 5 minutes. The rice and curry were served separately, with beef on top of the rice. I was adding the curry to the rice little by little, but eventually poured it all over the rice and ate it. The curry had the sweetness of onions and the spices blended perfectly, making it very delicious. The spiciness was not changed this time, but since I could still taste the sweetness of the onions, the spiciness was not too strong. I thought it would be okay to have it a bit spicier next time. The cheese topping was soft and melted nicely. If you want to taste the spices more, you might want to skip the cheese. As more customers started coming in while I was eating, I quickly paid and left. The Omurice-topped Omelette Curry is also famous, so I want to try that next time with a spicier level. Thank you for the meal.

The portion size was generous. I chose the spicy option, but I think it could have been a bit spicier. There is a sweetness within the spiciness. You can choose your desired base and customize with cheese, omelette, meat, etc. It's affordable and very delicious!

On weekdays, I had the stewed chicken curry for lunch. It came with fried vegetables (3 kinds) and cheese for 1,150 yen. I also ordered an orange juice for 50 yen. My companion had the omelette curry for 1,480 yen. Both curries were ordered with medium spiciness. Even though they offer free extra rice during lunchtime, I opted for the regular portion. Despite high expectations from reading reviews, the experience was surprisingly average. The omelette and curry didn't leave a lasting impression. It could be that my preference for medium spiciness affected my opinion. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was lively, with the staff taking orders loudly. If you bring a proof of the affiliated parking lot, you can receive a free parking coin.

Located in a quiet residential area in Maruyama, Sapporo, this restaurant's main branch offers the same taste at its location on North 18th Street. Following the recommendations from the Croc heavy user guide, I visited and enjoyed the American-style ambiance. I ordered the Ombe Curry (spicy) for ¥1480. The menu describes it as a cheese omelet with tender beef on top of curry. The curry, served in a separate dish, retains a simmering heat that adds depth to the dish. The moment I tasted it, I could feel the richness. When asked how spicy I wanted it, I didn't understand the question until I took a bite. The strong punch of the flavors requires adding some spice to complete the curry. Without the spice, it is still delicious but lacks presence as a curry. The fruit and vegetable flavors are stronger than they appear, so increasing the spiciness may actually enhance the taste. The recommended topping, the cheese omelet, adds a mildness that complements the dish. The tender beef that melts in your mouth, combined with everything else in the dish, made it a satisfyingly filling meal. A bright red Fukujin pickled radish on the side adds a playful touch. They offer a parking discount if you use the coin parking nearby. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

Lunch at #Clock Plus J in North 18th Street. This is a branch of #Clock @ Maruyama, a renowned European-style curry restaurant in Sapporo. Unlike the main store, there was no need to line up before opening, so we were seated right away. I ordered the Omu-chiki curry with extra rice and curry, along with deep-fried vegetables. The richly simmered curry, even though I added double the spiciness, was full of flavor and not overpowered by the heat. The omelette had a creamy filling inside, with a rich cheese flavor and a fluffy texture. It had a strong presence even among the rich curry, so I understand why everyone orders it. The chicken was slightly smaller but cooked to a tender, falling-off-the-bone texture that blended well with the curry. The prices are a bit high, but the quality justifies it. Based on my experience, this is one of the best curries I've ever had! #North18thStreetGourmet #Curry #EuropeanCurry #ClockCurry #ClockPlusJNorth18thStreetBranch #OmuCurry

A restaurant near Sapporo Clock famous for their curry. The staff are friendly and polite, which is great. The chicken and vegetable curry for lunch is consistently delicious like the main store. The sweetness at first followed by spiciness is irresistible. From ordering to paying, the service was pleasant and satisfying lunch experience.

I went to a popular curry restaurant called Clock in the mountains. It was a holiday lunchtime and I was able to get a table easily. The restaurant had a homey atmosphere with both regular tables and raised seating areas. I ordered the classic beef curry for the first time. I chose the extremely spicy option, but you can also add extra spiciness like 2x or 4x. The curry was served in about 15 minutes, with the rice and curry sauce separated like a Western-style curry. The rice was neatly shaped with tender beef in the middle. The curry was labeled as extremely spicy, but it wasn't actually that spicy. It had a deep sweetness and richness from the vegetables, and it paired well with the beef.

I visited around 13:10 on Sunday. There were only two open table seats visible in the area. I was thinking of walking along the wooded path to the main store, but it seemed like a long distance, so I decided to come here instead. I ordered the Deep-fried Vegetables and Beef Curry for 1350 yen. The dish was served at 13:36. The curry had a deep and delicious taste, almost like the taste of vegetables or fruit. I heard that the taste here is different from the main store, and that they bring the curry made at the main store here every day, so I am curious to compare the two. I prefer the curry at Taiyo Curry in Nishii, Kyoto, but the curry here was also delicious. I was worried that there would be too much curry with the reduced rice portion from 250g to 150g, but it was just the right amount to eat with the vegetables. Even though there were warm vegetables available, I chose the fried vegetables. Fried food may not be as good for the body as warm vegetables without advanced glycation end products, but I like fried food and ended up choosing it. The pumpkin was especially delicious.

I visited the restaurant for lunch on a holiday. I had visited the main store 5 years ago and enjoyed the beef curry and chicken cheese curry, but the steep hill on the way made it difficult for me to revisit. After moving out of Hokkaido, I found out that this restaurant had opened in a more accessible location, and finally, I was able to visit. I arrived a little before 11:10 am and got the first spot in line. By the time the restaurant opened at 11:29 am, there were 9 people waiting, including myself. I sat at a 4-person table after sanitizing my hands and looked at the menu. I ordered the Seafood Curry for 1,050 yen with a spicy level of 10 times. The curry and rice arrived in just 7 minutes. I poured the curry over the rice and was ready to eat. The curry I had at the main store was so rich that it reminded me of seaweed tsukudani, but this time it wasn't as rich. Although I confirmed that the curry sauce is made at the main store and there is only one type of curry sauce, the curry sauce for the beef curry, chicken cheese curry, and seafood curry should be the same, but it didn't seem the same to me. I'm not sure if it has been improved or if there is any difference. The spiciness of the curry was just mildly spicy, and it was incredibly delicious with plenty of fruit and vegetable flavors. Let me repeat this important point. It was incredibly delicious. The curry is on the richer side compared to other restaurants but within a reasonable range. The ingredients included scallops, shrimp, squid, squid, squid. Although the beef and chicken were good, I think seafood goes really well with this curry. I finished it in no time because it was so delicious. For some reason, I felt more satisfied after the meal compared to the main store, even though it's supposed to be the same curry sauce. In my opinion, it was fantastic and ranks among the top five curries in Hokkaido. I highly recommend my curry-loving friends to visit. My next visit to Hokkaido will be in a year, but I will definitely revisit this restaurant. Thank you for the meal.

It is located near the subway station, with better access than the main store, and not too crowded, so I have visited several times. The curry is delicious, but it seems to have a slightly different taste from the main store. The curry with cheese is delicious.

Today's curry adventure continues. I don't plan on posting every day, but I happened to come across some delicious ones consecutively. I only post about things that truly impress me. Today's curry is different from yesterday's and equally delicious. It might be on the route of the intense flavor that Indian curry offers. In a nutshell, it's like "condensed violence." I've never had such a rich curry before. The beef melts in your mouth and the curry sauce on the side. Creating a harmony by adjusting the portions yourself. It's like the harmony between Yosui Inoue and Koji Tamaki. And the fluffy yellow thing in the photo is, of course, cheese senpai, who oozes out all gooey from the inside. "Hey, feeling good? Eat up as much as you want." Cheese senpai looks more beautiful than usual. It's difficult to capture the beauty in a still photo, so I didn't select it for the post. I want everyone to experience being overwhelmed by cheese senpai in person, so it's best to save that moment for when you meet. Anyway, even though it's yesterday's news, both curries are top-notch. They're ridiculously delicious. And my weight keeps dropping. It's a daily dining diet. The bill was 1,450 yen. Investing in food might have the best returns. Now, about my pants.
