Sessyun ٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و This is my first visit! It's not everyday that I have the opportunity to visit such a high-end yakiniku restaurant. As a rare indulgence, I decided to try their 10,000 yen course in a private room. The course meal was served promptly one after another. I ordered a beer to drink. The foam was beautiful! The first dish was an appetizer, scallop dish with a spicy sauce. Next was pickled vegetables, kimchi, but I ate it moderately to save room for the next dish. The kimchi wasn't too spicy and was well-received by everyone. I chose the salted yukhoe, which was delicious and recommended with its creamy texture. The salad was meticulously prepared with peeled cucumbers and a not too heavy dressing. The japchae was tasty, but by this point, I was starting to feel full. And finally, the main attraction, the meats arrived (o^^o) Tongue salt-grilled, salt-grilled prawns, special loin thinly sliced grilled, kalbi grilled, upper mino grilled, and hormone grilled. The special loin was the most delicious, it melted in my mouth. It was so delicious, but I was reaching my max fullness level. After the meats, I had to choose between cold noodles or crab rice porridge as a finisher... I couldn't possibly eat it all (*´Д`*) But I wanted to! I chose the crab rice porridge and had about half of it. It was delicious with a rich broth. I cursed myself for not being able to eat more (*´Д`*) Finally, dessert and coffee arrived, concluding the course meal. Overall, the food was delicious, but the portions were quite large. As a first-time visitor, I opted for the course meal, but next time, if I happen to visit again, I might enjoy choosing individual items to try. Throughout the meal, the special loin and salted yukhoe were particularly delicious! It was a very satisfying experience at Sessyun. Thank you for the wonderful meal! ♥️
