I always wanted to visit this restaurant but the parking lot was always full. Today, as I passed by, I saw one parking spot available and managed to park successfully. Inside, there were only two groups waiting so I got seated without a long wait. The atmosphere was calm yet casual, making it a relaxing environment. I ordered the most appealing tempura udon with shrimp for 1080 yen. The udon was surprisingly large, with a generous portion of shrimp tempura and burdock. The udon noodles were thick, smooth, and had a nice chewy texture. The broth was flavorful and the addition of grated radish and ginger added extra depth. The tempura was crispy without being greasy, and the combination of shrimp and burdock was delicious. Overall, the balance of price and quality was excellent, and I enjoyed the dining experience at this restaurant.

- Shrimp Tempura Udon, cold, extra large size for around 1200 yen. There are quite a lot of parking spaces available, including at the back of the restaurant. I came here to satisfy my occasional craving for udon. The interior of the restaurant has a traditional Japanese atmosphere and is quite clean. There are sunken kotatsu seating, regular tables, and a counter, and it seems like there aren't that many seats in total. I checked on Tabelog and saw that the tempura was recommended, so I decided to try it. It's not something that the restaurant specifically promotes. I probably wouldn't have chosen it if I didn't have that information beforehand. I can't eat fried food as much as I used to (not good), so I shared half of it with my companion, but even half was quite large. The burdock root was crispy and crunchy, which I really liked. There was no bitterness in the burdock root. This tempura is quite common, but this one was not just big on the batter, it was actually big chunks of burdock root and very delicious. The udon had a good chewy texture, smooth, and very tasty. It matched my preferences perfectly. My companion's beef udon also looked very delicious. I was really hungry, so the extra large size was just right. I definitely want to come back here again. Thank you for the meal!

On July 30th, I visited "Udon-ya Komugi" for lunch with 4 people, driving there by car. We arrived at 2:35 PM and parked at the second parking lot. We were seated at table number 17 in the raised seating area near the entrance. We ordered the following items: Zaru Udon for 700 yen, Mini Tendon for 530 yen, Small Shrimp Bukkake (cold) for 1080 yen, Chikuwa Tempura (side dish) for 290 yen, Chicken Tempura Bukkake (cold) for 1100 yen, and Tempura with grated daikon sauce (cold) for 1300 yen. The food was served about 10 minutes after ordering. The Zaru Udon had thinner noodles than usual, which was a nice change. The condiments included chopped scallions, grated ginger, and roasted white sesame seeds. We also tried a rice dish for the first time, the Mini Tendon, which included shrimp, pumpkin, shishito peppers, and mushrooms on Yumepirika rice, served with pickles on the side. The rice bowl was quite delicious. Overall, we enjoyed the set of Zaru Udon and rice dishes. Thank you for the meal.

On a hot and humid day like today, I felt like eating something refreshing, so my girlfriend and I visited Komugi, a udon restaurant we had been curious about. The restaurant was crowded, probably because it was lunchtime. We waited for about 10 minutes before being seated at a table. We ordered a small shrimp and burdock cold udon, chikuwa tempura, and a mini kashiwa tempura bowl. The food arrived in less than 15 minutes. The udon was smooth with a nice chewy texture that became addictive as you chewed. The dipping sauce was a classic broth made with bonito flakes, simple and delicious without any off-flavors. The option to customize the flavor with condiments was a nice touch. The small shrimp and burdock tempura was crispy with a delightful aroma of burdock and the savory taste of shrimp. The texture of the burdock added to the overall enjoyment of the dish. The chikuwa tempura had a soft and fluffy interior, a unique texture that was quite tasty. The mini kashiwa tempura bowl had a perfect balance of sweet tempura sauce and tender kashiwa. The rice was cooked just right and everything tasted delicious.

Soft and chewy! It was just before 5 p.m. on Saturday and the place was not crowded. The interior was clean and the staff were polite. The udon I ordered had a chewy texture, just as I had seen in other reviews, and the shrimp and burdock tempura was satisfying. I was curious about the quail, so I ordered it separately. I managed to finish it, but I regretted ordering it because I was too full. The air conditioning was too strong, which was a downside. I chose warm udon, but either because of the air conditioning or because of the lack of broth, it was not warm at all, but rather lukewarm. If you avoid sitting near the air conditioning, this is a recommended place to go when you want to eat delicious udon.

I come here every year. Since tomorrow is a day off, I came after work today, but it's always crowded at night as well. The customer service here is always good. I usually eat cold tempura bukkake, so I decided to try something simple this time and ordered the chopped bukkake cold noodles with chicken and burdock rice. The chopped bukkake includes tempura, seaweed, tempura crumbs, cucumber, wakame seaweed, green onions, and ginger. The noodles have a good texture and the slightly sweet broth stands out due to the minimal amount of toppings. I think I could eat two bowls of this. And when I come here, I always have to get the chicken and burdock dish. It's made with chicken, burdock, carrots, and various mountain vegetables finely chopped. The light flavor complements the taste of the noodles well. It's a popular place, yet it's nice that they don't have a website or social media. I'd like to try the cold zaru noodles next time.

In the West Eighth Ward, there is a udon restaurant called Komugi that has sunken kotatsu seating, tables, and a counter. They provided baby plates and spoons, allowing us to dine out with our baby for the first time. It became a memorable place for us. We ordered the most popular dishes, small shrimp and burdock tempura, and duck with grated radish. We loved the burdock tempura and the chewiness of the udon. We would love to visit again! It's also great for a baby's first udon dining experience! #HokkaidoGourmet #SapporoGourmet #SapporoFamilyFriendlyDining #SapporoWestWardFamilyFriendlyDining

On May 31st, I visited "Udon-ya Komugi" for dinner with two other people at 7:00 PM. We drove to the restaurant and found parking spaces available in front of the store. We were seated at the table all the way to the left after entering the entrance. Our order for the day included: - Kashiwa Tempura Zaru (1180 yen) - Ebi Tempura Mochi (cold) (1300 yen) - Small Shrimp Bukkake (cold) (1080 yen) - Chikuwa Tempura (side dish) (290 yen) It took about 12 minutes for our food to be served. The Kashiwa Tempura Zaru came with udon noodles that were thinner than usual, with an option to upgrade to thin noodles for an additional 100 yen. The noodles were served on a flat bamboo sieve, topped with chopped seaweed. The noodles had a transparent and glossy appearance, and were chewy and refreshing. The condiments included finely chopped scallions, grated ginger, and roasted white sesame seeds. I started by trying the noodles without any condiments, enjoying the texture that had been finished with cold water. However, being a bit greedy, I ended up adding all the condiments (laughs). The Kashiwa Tempura, made with chicken thigh meat, was juicy and tender, similar to Hokkaido's Zangi. It was flavorful without feeling greasy. Overall, it was a delicious meal. Thank you.

On May 27, 2023 (Saturday) at 3:00 PM, revisited. This day was my third son's sports day. After the sports day, there was a barbecue for the boys' baseball team. Only my third son participated, so my wife and I had a rare lunch date (^ω^)... or so we thought... The cafe we wanted to go to had a one-hour wait, so we switched to a revolving sushi restaurant, but there was an 18-group wait... (T.T) Alright! Let's have udon at Komugi! Komugi, which operates continuously during times like this, is truly the savior of lunch refugees. The booth seats were full, but we were able to sit at the counter. I had small shrimp bukkake udon (1,080 yen) with chicken and burdock (360 yen), and my wife had bukkake udon (700 yen) with a mini tempura rice bowl (530 yen). Wow, it's delicious♪(´▽`) The refined dashi broth, the shrimp and burdock tempura that are getting smaller every year but still taste the same, the wonderful firmness of the udon, and the powerful wheat aroma. As expected, Komugi, our favorite restaurant, is unbeatable. Even though we were feeling hangry from being too hungry, we suddenly became in high spirits♪(´θ`) "Komugi is delicious after all," we said during our long-awaited lunch date with just the two of us~

I ordered the small shrimp and burdock tempura (served separately) warm udon from Komugi-san, a udon restaurant. The tempura was crispy and delicious, and the udon noodles were smooth and tasty. The broth was also delicious, and I ended up finishing every last drop. I initially wanted to try the thin noodles, but there was an additional charge, so I went with the default thick noodles. Overall, it was very delicious, and I will definitely visit again.

I was taken there by someone who had been there before. The food was even more delicious than I imagined, and the interior of the restaurant was lovely. I visited when I was just a little hungry, so I chose the bukkake udon, but the tempura looked so delicious and seemed to be popular. Next time, I want to visit with a proper appetite. The lemon provided was a refreshing flavor enhancer and was also exquisite.

I went with my son. It's next to Ramen Kito, where we always go, so I thought it must be a popular place because the parking lot was full. Since Kito was closed, we decided to go in without hesitation, but there were 4 groups ahead of us. It's no wonder. We waited for about 20 minutes, but once we got in and placed our order, the food came out quickly. The turnover at the restaurant seems to be good, so it's clear whose fault it is if you have to wait a long time. The udon noodles that came out were firm, almost to the point where it might be hard to swallow for older people. The broth was also very delicious. I would like to go back again! ✨

I used to come to this restaurant a few times shortly after it opened, but lately I have developed a preference for soba over udon, so I haven't been here in a while. I decided to come back after a long time and ordered the "kashiwa tempura soba, large serving." It turned out to be a bigger portion than I expected, and I regretted it (laughs). The kashiwa tempura was not like regular fried chicken or tempura, but more like zangi with minimal or no seasoning. It tasted a bit bland on its own, but dipping it in the soba broth made it just right. The kashiwa tempura was surprisingly tender and not tough. The udon, which was my main choice, had thin, smooth, chewy noodles that were slightly soft. The noodles were shiny and beautiful. It was delicious. I haven't had cold udon in a while, but it was the right choice. While hot udon is good, cold udon is also great for warmer weather. The dipping broth could have been a bit saltier.

The deliciousness is stable. My family all prefers T-ya in the Nishi ward, but personally, I really like this place because it has a lot of parking spaces and is easy to park. I often order the shrimp tempura bukkake udon. The spring water pork dipping udon is also recommended.

The staff member was perfect in their service. I ordered the cold small shrimp and burdock tempura. The tempura was crispy and fluffy, almost like it wasn't made with small shrimp. It was delicious without being too heavy, and the dipping sauce added a nice moistness. I prefer this kind of tempura. I enjoyed it very much.

I came to eat udon with a firm texture. I also enjoyed vegetable tempura and squid tempura. The udon, made with spring water pork from Makkari and plenty of vegetables in a dipping sauce, paired perfectly with the tempura. It was exquisite. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I had warm noodles with sudachi soy sauce bukkake! The soy sauce was delicious. Next time, I want to enjoy the chewy texture with cold noodles. My companion had kake udon with burdock and shrimp tempura. They said it was delicious with a light and flavorful broth, and lots of shrimp in the burdock tempura.

Today in Sapporo, the weather is nice but it's a troublesome day with yellow sand scattering. It was warm, so I decided to order the cold kashiwa tempura udon. It arrived in about 5 minutes, faster than expected. The crispy kashiwa tempura and chewy udon were incredibly delicious.

Today, I went to a restaurant that has been selected as one of the top 100 restaurants in the past. It was just before lunchtime, and the parking lot was crowded, but luckily there was one space available. The menu was extensive with lunch sets available, and I had a hard time deciding what to eat. I ended up choosing the mini tempura donburi set (cold). There were many other menu options, and I feel like I could come back many times without getting tired of it. The prices were reasonable and the udon was delicious, leaving me satisfied. By the time it was past 12 o'clock, the restaurant was full. Thank you for the meal.

Tempura Udon for 1,680 yen, Chikuwa Tempura for 290 yen, and Half-cooked Egg Tempura for 200 yen. The warm udon has thick noodles while the cold udon has thin noodles. Even though the noodles are thin, they have a firm texture, providing a satisfying eating experience.

When I arrived at noon on a weekday, the restaurant was almost full. Just 10 minutes later, there was a waiting list. The warm udon with small shrimp and burdock tempura was delicious. The flavor of the wheat noodles was excellent, and they were easy to eat. It was a bit disappointing that there was no warm tea served after the meal.
