I don't have time to buy a gift for my client, so I stopped by Hirota at Iidabashi station. They have delicious baked goods that can last for a while, like their baked donuts. I got a matcha-flavored one for myself. It's tasty!

It is convenient to be able to shop efficiently during transfer periods. The staff who understand this well are very helpful. On October 31st, I saw a Halloween cake while passing by. It must be a limited edition until today. I purchased the Pumpkin Cake for 460 yen. The smooth pumpkin cream covering the layered sponge cake is a Halloween dessert. It's not incredibly delicious, but it's enjoyable and easy to have a Halloween-themed dessert time.

My wife brought home some cream puffs as a souvenir. I had always thought of Hirota cream puffs as small and light, but these were quite substantial. The white chocolate on the surface of the panda was quite thick, giving it a satisfying texture. When I took a bite out of the panda, it was a bit shocking.

I fell in love at first sight, even saying "please hold it for me until I come back" and paying in advance for the purchase. It's because it's a panda. Panda cream puff, only available at the Iidabashi Metro store. Just look at those eyes staring at you. How can you just walk by in silence? Now, the question is where to start eating and how to enjoy it. The famous Hiyocho, Dove Sablé, and Panda cream puff. They were all delicious. By the way, I started from the face, staring into its eyes.

I first encountered Hirota's cream puffs back when I was a elementary school student many years ago. At that time, there was a factory near Shin-Nakano Station on the Marunouchi Line. Although the company is from Kansai, their first store in Tokyo was in Kichijoji. Since then, I have always come across their stores somewhere in Tokyo and purchased their cream puffs. There used to be a shop on the platform of Meidaimae Station, but unfortunately, it's no longer there. This time, while chatting with a friend about Hirota's cream puffs, my friend mentioned that there was a store on the way to their destination, so I took the opportunity to buy some on the way back home. I bought the familiar limited-time Twin Fresh adult raisin butter flavor. Hirota's cream puffs are easy to eat due to their size, and I have always liked them since long ago. The prices are reasonable, so it's fun to buy a few different flavors and enjoy eating two or three of them. The Twin Fresh cream puff allows you to taste two creams - a creamy custard and fresh cream. When I buy them, I always choose this one. Although it's been a while since I last had one, the moment I took a bite, the nostalgia from those days quickly came back. The texture of the cream puff shell... it reminded me of when I ate it with my parents as a child. The adult raisin butter flavor has a rich cream with a hint of rum aroma from the raisins, but the alcohol taste is not too strong. The smooth and rich cream also contains butter. It was a nice change from the classic cream puff, and it was perfect for a coffee break after a meal. Despite the changes in packaging over the years, Hirota still exudes a familiar Showa era charm. I hope they continue for a long time to come. Thank you for the meal.

Blog "Tokyu Line, Foodie Walk" - Family souvenir, Panda Choux from here. Sometimes Hirota feels like eating cream puffs. The Iidabashi store has a limited edition Panda Choux for 346 yen, which was the souvenir. Enjoyed it at home with coffee. It was quite different from Hirota's cream puffs when I started eating it, imagining them. First, the chocolate representing the eyes and ears is quite hard and surprising. The texture is so strong that it's hard to taste the cream puff, but well, it's cute so it's okay... That was the cream puff. But with this look, you'd buy it, right... (laughs) Thanks for the meal.

I tried buying one of the Panda Choux Custard at the Iidabashi store, which was limited to that location. It was not too heavy with cream and custard, and the chocolate coating was delicious. However, the thickness of the black part around the eyes looked a bit odd. Overall, it's tasty and could be a good conversation starter.

I received a cream puff as a souvenir from a visitor. It feels like it's been a long time since I've seen this long, thin box. When I was a child, my family often bought cream puffs as souvenirs in Tennoji. Looking at it again now that I'm over 40, I realize that it's a shop with a long history. Unlike the large cream puffs nowadays, it was a cream puff that was easy to eat, allowing you to enjoy the combination of the pastry and cream.

This is a rare panda-themed dessert in Ueno, but surprisingly found in Iidabashi. It is only available at the Hirota Iidabashi store. It was so cute that I had to get it and rush back home to keep it cool for 2 and a half hours. The choux pastry is a mochi-mochi type, so it may be a matter of personal preference.

I revisited Tsutsui, a Western-style restaurant in December 2020. On my way back from there, I passed by the same bakery as last time, so I decided to stop by again. This time, I purchased the limited edition "Amaou Strawberry Choux Cream" and "Twin Fresh" (each 320 yen + tax), as well as the "Amabie Manju" (black sesame) (278 yen + tax) made by Awagoyasohei, a company related to Hirotasan in Oizumi Gakuen, Nerima Ward. I really liked the sweet and sour taste of the "Amaou Strawberry Choux Cream", and the "Twin Fresh" with Santa Claus illustrations on the package was a nice touch for December. The "Amabie Manju" had a generous amount of black sesame filling and was impressively well-shaped. I don't have many opportunities to visit Iidabashi lately, so I hope I can find Hirotasan's choux cream at some event in the future.

This is a shop inside the ticket gates at Iidabashi Station on the Tokyo Metro. I noticed it while transferring from the Tozai Line to the Yurakucho Line, and decided to stop by and purchase something. As someone from Kansai, I have always loved cream puffs, and have been familiar with them even before they had their current packaging. I had heard that there was a shop in Iidabashi, but since I rarely go near the Tozai Line, I had never noticed it before. This time, I bought the "Panda Cream Puff," as well as the limited edition flavors for November 2020, "Chestnut" and "Sweet Potato." The "Panda Cream Puff" was so cute that I couldn't stop taking pictures of it. The "Chestnut" and "Sweet Potato" flavors were also delicious. I definitely want to purchase them again the next time I pass by.

I happened to pass by and saw a sign that said "Thanksgiving Special: Shoe Ice Cream for 100 yen each." I couldn't resist and ended up buying 5 of them. I shared them with my colleagues at the office and they were delicious. It was a great purchase.

Located near the East-West Line ticket gate at Iidabashi Station, next to Mizuho's ATM. Near Subway Exit A4. Limited-time offer of Kyoto matcha cream puffs (4 pieces). I purchased them thinking the cream would have a moderate bitterness of Kyoto matcha, but the matcha flavor was weak for a green cream. The cream was slightly sweet. Thank you for the meal.

This time, I used it for tea time. I was unsure of what to choose, but this time I bought a limited-time offer of Shine Muscat (4 pieces). Purchase details: Shine Muscat (4 pieces) 345 yen. Shine Muscat is a cream puff that expresses Shine Muscat, with green custard cream flavored like Shine Muscat inside. It had a slightly strong sweetness. The shop is clean and beautiful with a display at the storefront. The staff's customer service was very polite. It is a cream puff shop located outside the JR Iidabashi Station on the Tozai Line.

Located at Iidabashi Station on the Tokyo Metro, this shop is situated on the way from the Namboku Line/Yurakucho Line to the Tozai Line. The Eclair costs 292 yen and the Hokkaido cream puff costs 303 yen. Both were delicious and enjoyable.

At Iidabashi Station on the Tokyo Metro, on the way from the Namboku Line/Yurakucho Line to the Tozai Line, there is a luxurious pudding for 292 yen in front of the Tozai Line ticket gate. It may be too luxurious, as the taste of the pudding is faint.

Hirota Cream Puff shop. Located quietly at Soto station on the Tozai Line. They have a limited edition Panda Cream Puff only available here. It has a thick chocolate coating for a crunchy texture. I tried adding some chocolate with a 100 yen store chocolate pen. (((^_^;)

I purchased a limited edition cream puff field on a certain day of the week. It feels a bit lonely with just the choux pastry and cream. I think it was under 1000 yen, so it's nice to have occasionally.
