I revisited in August 2018 and had the "Meat and Vegetable Set Meal for 700 yen including tax" with very little rice. The pork, cabbage, bean sprouts, spinach, carrots, and wood ear mushrooms were stir-fried with a nice soy sauce flavor, showing that they were cooked well with great texture. It was a delicious dish that reaffirmed the high cooking skills of the young owner from Fujian Province. It was heartwarming to see his daughter helping out in the restaurant during summer vacation. In July 2018, despite the dangerous heat, we revisited Little China, run by a charming young couple from Fujian Province, China. We tried the "Chilled Chinese Noodles with Shrimp" for 800 yen, which was served in a cool glass dish. The dish consisted of cold, thin noodles topped with sliced char siu, imitation crab, cherry tomatoes, young sprouts, diced cucumber, shredded cabbage, and plump shrimp. Mixing it with a spicy sesame dressing created a refreshing and delicious taste sensation. It was a delightful experience to enjoy such a visually appealing and tasty chilled noodle dish in this humble part of Itabashi. It was super delicious. Goodbye for now!

I revisited Little China for lunch after 4 months since my visit on a snowy day in May. The restaurant is run by a young couple from Fujian Province, China, who are very friendly and welcoming. I ordered the "Five-Ingredient Yakisoba for 700 yen including tax". The yakisoba noodles were well cooked and topped with a savory soy sauce-based sauce, decorated with finely cut squid, plump shrimp, boiled quail eggs, pork, cabbage, spinach, carrots, wood ear mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and baby corn. It was a delicious lunch and I was very satisfied. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. Goodbye!

It was snowing♪ The first lunch revisit of the year was at Little China, run by a lovely young couple from Fujian Province. I greeted them with "Happy New Year" and ordered the "Stir-fried Black Fungus, Egg, and Pork Set Meal for 700 yen including tax" with a small portion of rice. The stir-fried black fungus, egg, and pork dish was a harmonious blend of finely chopped pork, carrots, spinach, onions, plenty of black fungus, and fluffy scrambled eggs. It was delicious as always. Looking forward to another great year.

In November 2017, I revisited Little China, run by a very friendly young couple from Fujian Province. It was a chilly day with a temperature of 11℃, so I decided to warm up by ordering the "Mapo Tofu Set Meal for 600 yen including tax" with a small serving of rice. The Mapo Tofu was served on a large white ceramic plate, which was a surprise. The silky smooth tofu in the Mapo Tofu had a refined and delicious flavor. Although it had red chili peppers and Sichuan peppercorns, it wasn't as spicy as I had hoped, so I added plenty of chili oil and pepper from the table condiments. The salad and soup were also delicious, making it a satisfying lunch that lived up to my expectations. I left a little bit of rice uneaten. It was a delicious meal. Goodbye for now!

In October 2017, despite the chilly weather with a high of around 10℃, I revisited a restaurant after two months and had the "Grilled Gyoza Set Meal for 600 yen including tax" with a small portion of rice. The gyoza, wrapped in thick and chewy skin with plenty of cabbage filling, had a melt-in-your-mouth texture. It reminded me of the time many years ago when I used to work as a tutor in Ofuna, Kanagawa Prefecture, and would treat myself to similar vegetable-filled gyoza with a beer at a Chinese restaurant near Ofuna Station after receiving my pay. By the way, I used my first paycheck back then to buy "Aji no Oshizushi" from Ofuna-ken for my mother as a gift and a record album of Simon & Garfunkel's "Sounds of Silence" for myself. I left a little rice uneaten. It was delicious. Goodbye!

Visited Little China again in August 2017 and had a delightful experience. The young couple from Fujian, China, who run the restaurant, were very friendly. The purpose of this visit was to try their "Special Cold Chinese Noodles" for 800 yen, which I didn't get a chance to try during the cool summer. The dish was beautifully presented in a glass bowl, with chopped char siu, crab sticks, tomatoes, young sprouts, diced cucumbers, lettuce, shrimp, finely chopped carrots, and watercress on top of cold and smooth Chinese noodles. The noodles were topped with a spicy sesame sauce that enhanced the flavors of the toppings. It was the best cold Chinese noodles I've ever had! I was impressed by the husband's cooking skills. In June 2017, I revisited the charming wife who greeted me warmly after 4 months. I ordered the "Gomoku Ramen for 650 yen including tax." The soup, filled with vegetables, had a gentle and soothing flavor when I took the first sip. The ramen bowl, made of white porcelain, was filled with pork, shrimp, intricately cut squid, quail eggs, as well as cabbage, spinach, carrots, bamboo shoots, baby corn, wood ear mushrooms, shiitake mushrooms, and enoki mushrooms - not just five, but twelve ingredients in total! The noodles were slippery and had a chewy texture, and there was plenty of them. This delicious ramen allowed me to enjoy various vegetables, making it a satisfying lunch as always. In February 2017, I revisited Tokyo and it was so cold that snow was falling. To warm up, I decided to visit Little China again after two months. I ordered the "Miso Ramen for 600 yen". The ramen was topped with minced pork, cabbage, bean sprouts, carrots, leeks, and wood ear mushrooms. The soup had a rich miso flavor with a hint of vegetable broth from the stir-fried vegetables. The medium-thick noodles had a chewy texture and there was plenty of them. The rich miso ramen helped warm me up. In December 2016, I revisited this restaurant where I have made it a habit to have lunch at least once a month. The friendly young wife from Fujian Province greeted me with "身体好吗?(shēntǐ hǎo ma?)" to which I responded "很好 (Hěn hǎo)". I ordered the "Chingjao Roast Set Meal for 700 yen including tax" with a side of "白飯 少 (bái fàn xiǎo)". The Qingjiao Rou Si, made with pork, bell peppers, bamboo shoots, and carrots, had the same delicious taste and perfectly cooked crunchy vegetables. It was a delightful meal as always. Thank you for the delicious food. Goodbye! In November 2016, I revisited the restaurant after a month and had the "Bean Sprout Tanmen for 600 yen including tax". The tanmen, made with bean sprouts, pork, leeks, and carrots, topped with a thick meat and vegetable stir-fry and chopped green onions, was soothing with its flavorful and sweet taste. The slightly chewy medium-thick noodles were delicious, and I was very satisfied with the consistent deliciousness of this restaurant. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. Goodbye! In October 2016, I revisited this favorite restaurant and ordered the "Shanghai-style Yakisoba for 700 yen including tax". The soy sauce-flavored yakisoba, made with chewy medium-thick noodles and cabbage, bean sprouts, leeks, onions, and carrots, was a Japanese-style "Shanghai Yakisoba" unlike the fried noodles in Shanghai, China. Though the price was the same as the vegetable-rich Gomoku yakisoba I had last time, I found the healthy deliciousness satisfying. The corn egg drop soup served as a side was also delicious. Thank you for the meal. It was delicious. Goodbye! In September 2016, I revisited this restaurant after being pleasantly surprised by the unexpected deliciousness during my first visit. I ordered one of my favorite dishes, the "Gomoku Yakisoba for 700 yen including tax". The yakisoba, with a generous amount of well-cooked ingredients on top of the noodles, including squid, shrimp, quail eggs, pork, cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, bamboo shoots, shiitake mushrooms, carrots, and baby corn, was more like a "Jumoku Yakisoba" than a "Gomoku Yakisoba". I left some of the noodles uneaten, but it was a wonderful meal. Thank you for the delicious food. Goodbye! In September 2016, I visited this new Chinese restaurant that opened in the place of the trendy "Hui Wei Xiang" and was run by a young couple from Fujian Province. I ordered the "Hui Guo Rou Set Meal for 700 yen including tax" with a side of "白飯 小". The Hui Guo Rou, made with tender pork and plenty of cabbage, wood ear mushrooms, onions, leeks, and ginger, had a slightly sweet and flavorful taste with finely chopped ginger adding a nice touch. The egg drop soup with wood ear mushrooms and carrots was also delicious. I was pleasantly surprised by the deliciousness beyond my expectations. We had a lively conversation about my visit to Fuzhou, the provincial capital of Fujian Province. Thank you for the delicious food. Goodbye!

There is nothing particularly wrong with it, but I personally didn't quite like the sweet seasoned sauce with the filling at this place. I prefer the seasoning at the nearby Jukouen. The soup is also a bit low on salt for my taste. It might be healthier though.
