In July 2023, I visited a bar called "HUB" in Kichijoji after getting off at JR Kichijoji Station. I was hoping to watch the Women's World Cup soccer game, but they were showing a rugby test match instead. I ended up ordering a HUB Lemon regular drink for 310 yen and watched the game on my phone. It was a lesson for me that not all sports bars show the sport you want to watch.

I visited for the second time. HUB is a cash-on style bar, so it's a bit of a hassle to ask for a receipt. Plus, most people are drunk so I usually don't bother getting one towards the end (lol). They usually have sports on TV, so it's fine to just zone out and watch, and it can also be a conversation starter. It's more affordable compared to other bars, which is convenient. Thank you for the meal.

Seeking some relief from the heat, I visited HUB Kichijoji Minami-guchi around 3:00 PM, just after they opened. As usual, I enjoyed a jumbo gin and tonic and fish & chips to cool off. The place was quiet and not too crowded, making it a very comfortable and cool environment to relax in. It was the perfect place to unwind, with the heat dissipating and a pleasant atmosphere. Thank you for the meal.

I used this place for watching rugby. They provided plastic cups during the match. The Heineken beer was delicious! People without reservations had to stand. Despite the crowded interior, the staff was walking around quickly serving bottled beer. I reserved a seat with light snacks, and ordered drinks separately. Despite the long lines, the service was fast and the staff were amazing. Watching rugby was fun, we all had a great time chatting and enjoying ourselves. It was really lively. Compared to the North exit store, this one is quite small. If you want to sit down, it's better to go early or make a reservation.

It's been hot every day since the rainy season ended. Just a little bit of movement and I'm sweating a lot! So, I visited "HUB Kichijoji Minami-guchi store" for Happy Hour. It's good to know a casual place to go to! It's cheap, cool, and refreshing for the throat... I had the classic Gin and Tonic Jumbo x 2 and Fish & Chips. I relaxed for about 30 minutes while listening to music on my iPhone, and I felt better and the sweat dried up. Thank you for the meal.

HUB located on the south side of Kichijoji Station is a chain British-style pub. They have a happy hour until 7 pm with some drinks offered at a discount. The atmosphere is like a bar downstairs, but the staff here are very friendly and provide great service. The HUB Lemon, an original cocktail, is priced at 190 yen during happy hour (normally 390 yen). It has a nice lemon scent and a gentle sweetness similar to honey lemon, making it appealing to women. The Fish & Chips, even in a half portion, is reasonably priced at 400 yen including tax, making it perfect for casual drinks or solo drinking.

A minute's walk from Kichijoji Station South Exit. The store located in the basement of a building is small, enough to fill up with 30 people. It may be on the smaller side for a chain store. You order drinks and food at the counter and pay on the spot, and they will bring it to your seat if it's not busy. I ordered Guinness beer and fish and chips. The fried fish was freshly cooked and quite delicious. The cost performance is good. The music is a bit loud, but the smoke-free interior is cozy. There are multiple screens, so you can enjoy sports broadcasts. Unlike the stores in Shinbashi and Shinjuku, you can't expect to meet men and women at this store. It's open until late at night, so it's good to stop by when you want to have a drink alone or with a few people. It doesn't have the unique atmosphere of a traditional British pub, but I found it to be a convenient store.

The team's end-of-season party was held at a restaurant. The food was decent party fare, but what stood out was the variety of pies available, which was not something you see often. The wide selection of drinks was also a plus. It's a great venue for a large group to have a lively party.

It's a great atmosphere for watching rugby or sports. It would be even better if the screen was a bit bigger.

Just a 1-minute walk from Kichijoji Station South Exit. There are two HUB locations in Kichijoji. This one is located further down from "HUB Kichijoji Store" but it's also an older store. The entrance and staircase are similar to "HUB Ikebukuro Nishiguchi Store." It's a compact size with 70 seats. It's a Tokyo Musashino City FC support store. There was a handmade Instagram frame by the store manager. It's a bit smoky.

I visited around 7pm on Saturday night. The restaurant was still empty, and I was able to relax and enjoy my drink while listening to the music playing. I wonder if it will get busier soon? The staff were friendly and I felt welcomed. It's a place where you can come alone too. I will definitely come back!

When you come to Kichijoji South Exit, you can't help but visit this shop. It's located on the basement floor, away from the hustle and bustle above ground. The interior is set up for cash-on so you can pay individually. This time, I ordered a HUB Ale? I think that's what it's called. It was around 880 yen for a pint. It had a moderate bitterness and was easy to drink. I also bought some nuts for snacks. It's a nice place to have a drink with close friends. Since it's cash-on, everyone can pay for what they drink.

As soon as you exit the south exit of Kichijoji Station, you will see a familiar chain beer bar right across the street. I was heading to Kichijoji to attend a certain event, but I arrived a little early. I didn't have enough time to leisurely eat and drink, but I also didn't want to stand shivering in the cold outside the event venue. So, I decided to enter this restaurant where I could casually drink while adjusting my time. The restaurant is located underground down the stairs. I ordered a 3/4 pint of draft beer at the service counter for cash-on-delivery. I also bought some beef jerky to go with my beer and sat on a high chair to enjoy my drink. The beef jerky was a good match for the beer, but it was a bit tough and made my jaw tired. As I looked at the menu, I found "Fish & Chips - Half," so I ordered a double Jameson on the side of my second beer. The Jameson was served promptly, but I had to wait for my Fish & Chips, which was brought to my table after a short wait of about 3 minutes. The freshly fried white fish was piping hot and delicious with tartar sauce. The "chips" were fried potatoes, also very hot and I enjoyed them with ketchup. After finishing my beer and Jameson, it was the perfect time to leave. This British-style pub is a convenient place for individuals or small groups to enjoy a casual meal and drinks.

Chain of British-style pubs with a mix of both local and foreign customers. The atmosphere resembles a typical British pub once you descend the stairs to the underground area. The interior is stylish and trendy, catering mainly to university students. There are several screens for sports viewing, with the schedule announced in advance on the official website. The drink selection is extensive, but not particularly tasty. Beer or whiskey may be a better choice than cocktails. The venue was decorated for Halloween at the time of the visit, adding a festive touch.

Tonight, I went for a stroll in Kichijoji. I started early and had drinks with a regular customer. We had a delicious meal at the first place, "Kyouno Tsuki," and the customer was in a good mood! We decided to go to a bar next, and the customer chose "HUB." I was a bit surprised, as I had only been here a few times before for watching soccer. This was my first time just drinking here! You buy drinks at the counter, and they have a wide variety of options. I went for a Kirin beer this time! I didn't order any snacks this time since we had just eaten. But I remember their pizza being delicious! Overall, it was a good experience. I think it's a great place for a second round! Thank you for the meal!

This time, I visited HAB in Kichijoji! I had a meeting with my colleague in Kichijoji, and since we had some free time, we decided to have a quick drink! The place was packed with people, almost full I would say! It was my first time visiting, so I didn't know, but you have to order drinks at the counter first, a bit embarrassing. I wanted to go for a beer, but ended up with a highball! They had a TV, so it would be great for watching sports! I had to leave early this time because I had another appointment, but I would love to visit again for sports watching or something next time! Thank you very much!

I finished my work in Kichijoji and headed to Tachikawa to meet up with my colleague. Before that, I decided to have just one beer. I went into "HUB" with my senior. I had seen this place often in the bustling area, but it was my first time going in. Going down the stairs to the basement, the place had a British pub vibe, or at least that's what I imagine it to be like since I've never been to the UK (laughs). I ordered a Bass Pale Ale because it looked delicious. I thought about getting a half, but the glass they showed me was small. Since there was no 3/4 size, I went for a 1 Pint glass. My senior had a regular draft beer, which turned out to be Ichiban Shibori. We finished our drinks in about 20 minutes without any snacks and left the place. "HUB" means something like a base or a point of contact, right? It really felt like that. It's a great place to spend the gap time before a meeting or before heading home after work. In terms of convenience, it's similar to Kirin City. For me, using Kirin City is like having coffee at Doutor, but HUB is more like Starbucks. Next time, I'd like to stay longer and maybe have something to eat.

HUB located at Kichijoji South Exit. It is part of the 82ALE HOUSE chain. It is a very popular Irish PUB that is widely spread not only in Tokyo but also in the Kanto, Chubu, and Kansai regions. On Friday evening, it's T.G.I.F! (Thank God! It's Friday!) My senior colleague invited me to go as he had a 10% OFF ticket that was about to expire. Around 8:00 pm on Friday night, Kichijoji is bustling with young people. The HUB was not packed, but several young people were drinking inside, including some foreigners. The atmosphere is truly that of a Pub. I started with a HUB Ale 1 pint for 890 yen, while my senior had a draft beer 1 pint for 690 yen. A pint is about 473ml. It feels like a big mug. The ale beer had a good aroma. It reminded me of my working holiday in New Zealand. Back there, a 300ml mug cost NZ$3, which is about 300 yen. So, it seems a bit pricey here. A few years ago, when I was drinking with a U.S. Air Force sergeant at HUB in Shinjuku Nishiguchi, he also mentioned that this place is a bit expensive. But well, the satisfaction level is high, so it's okay. We had bite-sized fish & chips for 580 yen. The fish & chips at HUB are quite tasty. We also snacked on popcorn while drinking beer. By the way, in New Zealand, Australia, and as I heard, even in the UK, they hardly eat while drinking. The reason is simple. Eating makes you gain weight. But they do eat huge cheeseburgers as their final meal, though. Recently, casual bars and standing bars have become popular, but if you think about it, Pubs seem cool, but in reality, they are just regular bars where old guys hang out (laughs). Because Pub = Public = for the general public. Here, you can have a beer and a snack and then head home quickly, which is nice. They also show UK Premier League matches on TV and play UK rock music, so if you like the UK, be sure to stop by.

After reading reviews from my reviewers Renzou and kennny, I suddenly caught the urge to go to a pub. Even after getting on the train and heading home, the urge didn't go away, so I decided to stop by here. I vaguely remember coming to this place as my third stop before. The pub is located underground, so I went down the stairs and entered the establishment. Today, I really just wanted to have one drink, so I ordered a HUB ALE 1 pint. It seems that here you order at your table, not at the counter. My drink arrived, and I spent a relaxing 30 minutes. Although the young people were making noise, I didn't mind as I was listening to the music. The HUB ALE was fruity with little bitterness. I wanted another drink, but I followed the rules and headed home. Still, it was a nice stop.
