A restaurant I've been wanting to go to since it opened. I was hesitant to go because I thought if I did, I might stop going to other various restaurants. This is my favorite restaurant. It's a popular place that's hard to make a reservation at. Everything I've tried here is delicious, with no disappointments. Despite being located in Kitashinchi, the prices are very reasonable. The Shaoxing wine shrimp, avocado potato salad, and kouketsu soba are must-try dishes. It's a well-known restaurant where even famous chefs come to eat after their own restaurants close. They only accept cash, so be careful as they don't take cards.

A great value izakaya open late at night! This small cozy restaurant has a counter and two table seats. The food here is all carefully prepared and incredibly delicious! I always end up eating a lot while enjoying a slight buzz. Highly recommended restaurant in Kita-Shinchi!

This place is really great. It would be nice if this kind of restaurant could also be found in Tokyo and Nagoya. They are open until 6am in Kita-Shinchi, offering high quality at a reasonable price. When you want to eat late at night, this place is a top choice. The menu is extensive, making it fun to choose from, and the food is delicious and affordable. The atmosphere is like a cafeteria or izakaya, but the staff are friendly and efficient. Even though the customers are likely already a bit drunk when they come late at night, everyone enjoys themselves without getting too rowdy, creating a pleasant atmosphere. Osaka has many cheap and delicious restaurants, and I really like it here!

On this day, I visited due to a collaboration with the exclusive M mansion, which is by referral only. Overall, the food was delicious. The cost performance was high, and I would like to visit again. I visited the restaurant after seeing it on TV and made a reservation through Instagram. I was able to easily book a table for Sunday at 9am. The food was decent and the prices seemed reasonable for a place like Kita-Shinchi. However, the late opening time could be a drawback. I wondered if they really needed to stay open late based on their menu. Overall, the cost performance was good, so it's worth a visit.

I forgot what show it was, but I saw it on TV and immediately made a reservation. This restaurant offers reasonably priced and casual dining with ingredients from famous local shops. I already love the name and concept. I made a reservation for Friday at 9 pm and arrived at the restaurant. The counter with 8 seats and tables filled up quickly. I toasted with a homemade ginger spice highball, which was delicious. I have no idea what cardamom smells like, but it was good. We ordered various dishes such as ayu confit, snap pea with parmesan cheese, homemade kimchi with scallop strings, fresh liver, wagyu red wine stew croque-monsieur, two marinated shrimp with Shaoxing wine, and spa salad. The complimentary dish of white radish and sesame vinegar with chicken breast was tasty. The marinated shrimp was huge and only 200 yen each! The croque-monsieur was crispy with tender beef inside. The dishes were all reasonably priced and delicious. The ayu confit was particularly outstanding with a crispy outer layer and a tomato sauce that paired perfectly. I definitely want to come back to try the curry, handmade soba, and fried rice. The 9 pm opening time is a bit late, but I will definitely return.

Around 11pm on a weekday, I sent a DM to Shimana Gashi's Instagram to see if they had any availability, but didn't get a response. I decided to take a chance and go to the restaurant anyway, and luckily they had a table open. When I asked Matsusuke, he said I could contact them directly through the phone number listed on Tabelog. This restaurant offers dishes made with ingredients from the previous restaurant, Koji Kurashige, and the chef, Ryota Yamada, at affordable prices. Matsusuke also used to work at Kurashige. Despite being open late, they start serving from around 6pm. It's a casual place where you can enjoy good food at reasonable prices. While it may be a bit more expensive than regular izakayas, it's still affordable for Shinchi standards. The dishes were all delicious, and we ended up ordering too much. Some of the dishes we tried included fresh liver for 600 yen, Spanish mackerel salad for 400 yen, flounder marinated in kelp with caviar for 1,300 yen, grilled young corn for 600 yen, grilled sailfin sandfish with ponzu sauce for 1,000 yen, karasumi with daikon (without daikon, haha) for 700 yen, grilled chicken neck with soba for 1,000 yen, hormone curry rice for 600 yen, and cream cheese miso pickle for 600 yen. Everything was incredibly tasty! I love Matsusuke's personality and will definitely be going back again!

It's a really suspicious location in a mixed-use building in Kitashinchi, but it's worth mustering up the courage to open the door. There are about 8 counter seats and private rooms. It's cozy, cheap, and has a variety of delicious dishes that you want to eat. They also open late at night and it's truly a "just right" kind of place. The staff at the counter are friendly and not overly attentive, but if you start a conversation, they will respond warmly. It's a really great restaurant.

I was drinking in Kitashinchi and left the shop at 1:30 am feeling hungry. A gourmet friend recommended this place to me, with a name that caught my attention. The place was already full, but luckily someone was just leaving and we only had to wait for 5 minutes to get a seat. The interior had a counter with seven seats and one private room. The menu was extensive and surprisingly affordable for being in Kitashinchi. We started with a toast with a highball. Here are the dishes we ordered: - Appetizer: White miso soup with yuzu. The late-night miso soup was comforting with the combination of white miso and yuzu. - Natto omelette: The omelette was so fluffy and perfectly cooked. The seasoning was just right, and natto lovers would definitely enjoy this dish. - Grilled chicken tenderloin salt yakisoba: Not your typical yakisoba, this one was seasoned with salt. The soft-boiled egg on top added a nice touch, and it was fun to mix the egg and yakisoba together. - Fugu skin with ponzu sauce from Shimonoseki: A refreshing dish that paired well with alcohol, so be careful not to drink too much. The restaurant only accepts cash, but it was a fun and affordable place to drink in Kitashinchi. It's no wonder the place was packed with customers. Thank you for the delicious meal!

Today, the fourth and final stop for the day is this late-night dining spot, Shinonagashi. Luckily managed to get in, entered around 1:30 am. Located in a room in an old building, the atmosphere is quite nice. The interior of the restaurant is clean and tidy. - Complimentary dish: White miso soup Even though I can hardly eat anymore, I can still have miso soup. After the second stop, it's nice to have a soup dish like this as a complimentary item. - Natto omelette Natto and eggs, of course, delicious. - Grilled chicken tenderloin yakisoba A salt yakisoba topped with a warm egg, with the staff adding eyes and eyebrows with nori and asking to make a mouth with a toothpick. What is this, it's so cute! When checking the photos on Tabelog later, everyone's funny faces made with the warm eggs made me laugh. - Fugu skin with ponzu sauce from Shimonoseki The name comes from using ingredients that have been passed down from famous restaurants to provide delicious dishes at affordable prices. The ingredients are good and the taste is delicious even though the price is low. It's almost 4:00, time to head back to the hotel and get a good night's sleep to prepare for tomorrow. Today was another fun day!

It's great to find a small izakaya that's open past 1 am. Despite the late hour, the place was almost full. After a short wait, we were able to get a table. We made a toast with oolong highballs! The menu looked delicious with a variety of options. We were quite full, so we ordered some light dishes. - White miso soup with hiro-ushi (wide rice noodles) - Fugu skin with ponzu sauce, which also had fugu meat and offered a variety of textures - Natto omelette - Salt yakisoba with seseri (chicken neck) The yakisoba had a cute onsen egg on top! We were given toothpicks to create a face on the dish, made with nori seaweed, adding a humorous touch. This place is so wonderful that I would want to visit every day if it were nearby. I've decided to revisit when I come back to Osaka! It seems that they only accept cash payments!

Actually, I visited here two weeks in a row! On this day, I had a bottomless stomach and was able to eat a lot of dishes! I had paprika sauce, caviar with sea bream sashimi, edamame, chicken tempura, matsutake mushroom chawanmushi, ayu confit, sweet potato tempura, curry, and ikura sauce. The sea bream sashimi was originally supposed to come with plum, but my friend said she didn't want plum, so the staff kindly offered to replace it with sea urchin! The ingredients here, like fish, are sourced from famous shops like Komaizumi and Kenta Takahashi, so they are really fresh and delicious. The chawanmushi had a generous amount of matsutake mushrooms, making it very luxurious! I felt the arrival of autumn. This dish was a bit on the lighter side in terms of flavor. My favorite dish this time was the sweet potato tempura! It had a comforting sweet potato flavor with a crispy coating.
