When it comes to restaurants that you can reach by bicycle during the day, the options are quite limited. In the central area, there are many no-parking zones, so it's either the north exit or the Sosei East area... Come to think of it, how about the west side? So, I decided to visit this popular restaurant. It's located on the basement floor of a building near the former municipal hospital. There are three shops next to each other, and the neighboring Kuroiwa Curry is also famous, I should try it next time. It's past 2 pm, and there is one group of customers before me and one person after me. This place is known for its miso ramen, but as usual, I ordered salt ramen for 900 yen and rice for 200 yen. Ah, you can tell at a glance that this place is popular. It feels like authentic Sapporo ramen. Thick curly noodles with hot bean sprouts, chashu, menma, onions, and green onions. I should have ordered the flavored egg. The abundant vegetables blend well with the soup and are delicious. I want to drink all the soup if I have time. And the chashu is thick and melts in your mouth, it's irresistible. Lately, I've been eating mostly thin straight noodles in clear soup with salt, but this old-fashioned salt ramen is also good. I usually don't repeat ramen dishes, but this makes me want to try the miso ramen too. I should have paid an extra 200 yen for rice and ordered a large serving of noodles. The default price is a bit high at 900 yen, but with chashu, flavored egg, and a large serving, it would be 1500 yen? It's a taste that makes you want to come back.
