I visited this place for the first time during the daytime on a regular day. This shop operates with self-service for serving and water. I ordered the Shoyu ramen for ¥1150, which came with garlic on a separate plate. It felt like a Jiro-style ramen, but not quite there, more like an imitation. However, I was really hungry so I devoured it in no time. Thank you for the meal!

During a break from work, I had about 30 minutes for lunch, so I hurried to "Shin-Kiba Station" and stumbled upon "Ramen Chokkyu Shin-Kiba Store" for my first visit. Without any prior information, I entered the restaurant and decided to go with the "Most Popular" item on the menu, the "Chokkyu Rich Soy Sauce Ramen (890 yen)." I pressed the button for the "Most Popular Rich Soy Sauce Ramen (890 yen)" on the ticket machine and handed the ticket to the staff before taking a seat at the counter. I waited for my order number, 117, to be called. After a while, I received the "Chokkyu Rich Soy Sauce Ramen" topped with pork belly-wrapped chashu, chicken breast chashu, seasoned egg, menma, chopped green onions, and seaweed, along with a side of "Small Rice." I took a sip of the rich soy sauce broth with floating pork fat, and the fragrant soy sauce aroma filled my senses. The broth had a smooth texture, with the flavors of chicken and pork broth spreading in my mouth, followed by the richness and sweetness of the pork fat. The mild sweetness of the soy sauce base added depth to the broth, making it delicious. The straight thin noodles had a strong chewiness and a smooth texture, providing a pleasant mouthfeel. The pork belly-wrapped chashu was moist and packed with meaty flavor and fatty sweetness. The chicken breast chashu was a bit dry but tender, with a nice meaty taste. The crunchy texture of the menma and the crispy green onions added a nice contrast to the dish. Rolling the noodles in seaweed and dipping them in the soup was a delightful experience. I quickly finished the rich soy sauce broth and slurped up every last bit. Delicious!

I arrived at the ramen shop a bit late for lunch, around 2:30 PM. I ordered the unusual Jajangmyeon from the ticket machine. I asked for sweet sauce and spicy oil for flavoring. The dish had a good balance of sweetness, so I ended up using the spicy oil towards the end. The combination of sweetness and spiciness was satisfying. Unfortunately, many menu items were sold out, so I regret not arriving earlier.

Purchased fish broth dipping noodles (¥890) at the ticket machine. It's nice that they accept cash and various electronic payments. There seems to be only one staff member, so self-service is required for getting water and returning dishes. Hand over the ticket at the dish pickup area and take a seat. The noodles arrived in about 10 minutes. The broth had a nice fish flavor and was surprisingly light and easy to finish. The self-service aspect and lack of cleanliness brought down the overall rating to ⭐︎2.0 for service and atmosphere.

Recently, I have been going to Shin-Kiba quite often, and today at lunchtime, I felt like having ramen, so I decided to visit a restaurant that I had been curious about as I passed by several times. Upon entering, there was a ticket machine on the right, and it was convenient that they accepted PayPay. I ordered the recommended "rich and delicious" ramen for lunch. After a while, the ramen was ready. As others have said, it was a traditional Chinese-style ramen. It was neither exceptional nor bad. They claim to use homemade noodles, but they tasted like store-bought bag noodles (fresh noodles), and the soup had a bland taste. At this point, there were only two staff members, handing out tickets, serving the food, and clearing the table when finished eating. They seemed quite busy, but honestly, even part-timers could handle the job. They didn't seem to efficiently use their time with the system of serving and clearing tables, and they didn't bother to clean the kitchen or wipe the tables. Moreover, the restaurant had a messy atmosphere with customers' belongings and umbrellas scattered around. It's a food place without any distinctive features (in my opinion), so I probably won't visit again. Perhaps they are too focused on expanding their chain stores... It's a shame.

I stopped by for lunch and bought a "rich soy sauce ramen" at the ticket machine. I sat at the counter and soon it was served. It was a standard soy sauce ramen with floating back fat. It reminded me of the times when I used to visit Chokkyu in Kawasaki Station. Although it was a while ago, I remember it being a bit more fragrant. It was a very standard ramen.

I transferred to the Keiyo Line and arrived at Shin-Kiba Station. It was lunchtime so I decided to have lunch. I was torn between Metro-An, Curry Udon Senkichi, and ended up going to "Chokkyu" after a long time. I used to often eat the "Hachioji-style ramen" at the Chokkyu stand in Kawasaki Station, but unfortunately, that menu was not available. I ordered the most popular "Rich Umami" with a rich pork flavor and back fat added to the traditional Chokkyu soup, as well as the "Pure Chicken Soy Sauce" made with luxurious Nagoya Cochin chicken to share. The quality of the ramen at the station is quite high. You buy a meal ticket, wait for your number to be called, pick up your order, and then return your tray when you finish eating. It's a self-service style. I think they could attract more customers if they reconsidered their prices a bit. Thank you for the delicious ramen.

Ramen Nao Hisa, which I have been visiting for over 10 years. I have been quite absent recently. The reason is... when I was working, I stopped eating lunch (laughs). But today, I had to transfer at Shin-Kiba Station for some errands. And it was already past lunchtime, the perfect time for a leisurely meal at 2:30 pm. I had to go (laughs). I visited the restaurant after a long time, and there was a young staff member managing the place, which was not seen in the old days. It seems like a generation gap might occur (bitter smile). I purchased my beloved "Tonkotsu Ramen Miso" in a large portion from the newly renovated ticket machine. Since the ramen is topped with plenty of boiled vegetables, I also requested the standard rich flavor. In the past, when I asked for a rich flavor, I would receive a visibly unpleasant reaction, but this time, they accepted it with no hesitation. Hmm. It's definitely a generation gap (laughs). Shortly after, there was an announcement that the ramen was ready, and I was surprised when I went to pick it up at the counter. I have never seen such an elegantly presented "Tonkotsu Ramen" before. It's more beautiful than the menu photo, isn't it? Ginza Nao Hisa, you are evolving. Personally, I thought Nao Hisa had a unique taste in its rough and messy (complimentary) style, but it may not appeal to everyone. With the Olympics and all, maybe they have reached a turning point. The ramen in the bowl, dressed in sesame oil, exudes a fragrant aroma and instantly elevates my appetite to the red zone. The vegetables are perfectly boiled, and the slightly firm noodles and vegetables intertwine in the rich soup, making it truly Nao Hisa's Tonkotsu Ramen. I couldn't stop eating as my chopsticks kept moving. However... the soup was lukewarm today... Was the bowl cold? Did they take longer to arrange the vegetables after pouring the soup? Anyway, that was the only disappointing part. Please serve it piping hot next time! But it was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

The parking lot located directly below the New Kiba Station, which is served by JR Keiyo Line, Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line, and the Rinkai Line, does not exist. The restaurant is managed by Naohisa Corporation, a subsidiary of Ironman Project Inc. (Tokyo Stock Exchange 2nd Section: 2404). Inside, there are counters and tables, with a normal ticket machine near the entrance. I ordered the "Special Shoyu Ramen with Jaw Soup" for 980 yen. Seeing the words "Jaw Soup" on the menu made me want to try it. The soup had a subtle jaw flavor, giving it a healthy image. It seemed to be made with Nagoya Cochin broth. The chicken chashu was average in taste. Thank you for the meal.

Tsuguhisa is on the expensive side among chain stores. The balance between the quality of the items and the price is a bit off. The ramen comes with chicken char siu and the scrambled egg is not finely shredded. The peanut paste adds a nice flavor. The presentation is well-balanced with a good variety of colors. The portion size is large, but the noodles were a bit lacking.

A ramen shop located under the guard of Shin-Kiba Station. I was drawn in by the sign for cold noodles outside the store. The interior of the shop mainly consists of counter seats, but there are also table seats. It's a self-service shop where you submit your meal ticket and pick up your order when it's ready. I chose the Cold Noodles with Soy Sauce (950 yen) from the various cold noodle options. The toppings included chicken chashu, shredded omelet, cucumber, seaweed, tomato, and pickled ginger. The noodles were very thin and ice-cold. Overall, it was light and perfect for a hot day.

Dan dan noodles (white) for 980 yen + extra rice (small) for 150 yen. The white sesame sauce on the dan dan noodles was lacking. They provided Sichuan pepper oil and green chili vinegar for flavoring, but it mostly just tasted like the seasoning. Since there was no sesame sauce, the extra rice was pointless and ended up being eaten as plain white rice. It wasn't bad, but it was quite disappointing overall.

During a weekend road bike ride in Koto Ward, I got caught in the rain in Shin-Kiba. I decided to take shelter and have lunch at a ramen shop near Shin-Kiba Station. The shop had a young female employee working alone. The atmosphere was lively with gal pop music playing, including songs by Ayumi Hamasaki. The lighting was slightly dim, giving off a closed-off impression. It didn't feel like a place where you could relax for too long. I ordered soy sauce ramen, which had a simple soy sauce flavor with a slightly firm texture. The noodles were also firm. Shin-Kiba feels like a restaurant wasteland, but this ramen shop seemed to cater to office workers and transport workers looking for a quick meal.

I visited this restaurant once when it first opened and had their soy sauce ramen. I was disappointed because it was hyped as a famous store in Ginza. Since then, I haven't visited again. This time, I really wanted to eat ramen in Shin-Kiba for work, but I had experienced many failures at DS'nko and thought that the only decent one in Shin-Kiba was Yashinoya. I had given up. I casually saw a review of Nao Hisa on Tabelog, and even though most reviews said the ramen had no flavor or was too light, there was one review saying that the miso vegetable ramen was still decent. I decided to visit with a glimmer of hope. As a result, I was able to eat it. The way the soup was mixed and the vegetables were boiled seemed amateurish, but I think the miso flavor and noodles are something they can serve to customers. However, even if I rate it generously, it would only be around 3.0. Anyway, I'm grateful to Tabelog for helping me find ramen to eat at Shin-Kiba Station.

After work lunch stop at Shin-Kiba, went to a few shops and decided on entering Choku Hisa around 14:00. There were about 3 people inside purchasing meal tickets. I ordered a mini chashu rice bowl and salt ramen set. The ramen soup was delicious. It was a satisfying set.

When I visited this restaurant in a hurry between train transfers, I felt a bit uneasy when buying the meal ticket. I ordered the "Koku-uma Ramen Miso" with a chashu topping, costing 890 yen plus 220 yen for the topping, totaling 1,110 yen. The noodles and soup were quite average in taste, and the chashu was dry. Looking at the photos later, I realized that the chashu topping was missing, as the menu shows 3-4 pieces of chashu as default. I was in a rush and didn't notice this mistake, which is disappointing. I'm not sure if this is an issue with the restaurant chain or the specific location in Shinkiba, but I have no intention of returning after this experience. Despite the missing topping, I still finished the ramen, so "thank you for the meal."

I attended an exhibition at Tokyo Big Sight and because the restaurants inside the venue were very crowded, I decided to have a late lunch after returning to Shin-Kiba. Normally, I skip lunch if it's past 1 PM, but due to the extended state of emergency and the risk of missing dinner, I wanted to eat whenever I could. I found a ramen chain near Shin-Kiba station that was established in the Taisho era. The atmosphere was like a standing soba shop at the station, with an old man handling everything alone. The recommended ramen on display was the rich and delicious soy sauce and salt ramen for 830 yen, or the miso ramen for 890 yen. However, I spotted the traditional chicken ramen for 620 yen on the ticket machine and decided to order that to avoid falling for the more expensive options. The style was self-service, where you pick up your order once it's ready and bring it to the counter yourself. The ramen was just okay, nothing special. Location: A slightly dim area just to the right after descending the stairs from Shin-Kiba station to the ground level.

I visited the restaurant on a regular Monday around 5 pm. It is located just down the stairs on the south side of Shin-Kiba Station, to the right under the guard. The interior has a counter with 14 seats and a few tables for 4 people. There was one customer before me and one after me, so it was not crowded. I purchased my meal ticket at the touch panel ticket machine on the right as I entered. I ordered the Pure Chicken Ramen with a mini green onion and roasted pork bowl in a large size for 960 yen. There was only one staff member handling everything. This restaurant operates in a standing soba shop style, where you hand over your ticket, wait to be called by the number on the ticket stub when your order is ready, help yourself to water from the dispenser, and return your dishes and tray to the designated area when you finish eating. It took about 9 minutes for my order to be served. The Pure Chicken Ramen came with thinly sliced chicken and pork chashu, seaweed, bamboo shoots, and green onions. The noodles were medium-thin straight noodles. The soup was a light chicken soy sauce broth, but it tasted slightly bland, possibly due to the noodles not being drained well. The mini green onion and roasted pork bowl had sweet and savory simmered pork on top of rice, cut into small pieces. It was more like a minced pork bowl than a chashu bowl, and I personally enjoyed it.

For today's lunch, I tried the ramen here, opting for the large size. The soy sauce ramen was light and easy to eat, although it wasn't particularly outstanding in terms of flavor. It's a good place if you just want a quick and satisfying meal. Lunch options in Shin-Kiba can sometimes feel repetitive, so it's nice to have places like this one.

There were no customers, but I was able to sit at a four-person table, so it was quite a comfortable place. I ordered the "ton-sai" ramen, which comes with gyoza and beer. The ton-sai ramen had a lot of cabbage and plenty of sliced chashu. The noodles were medium thickness, which I like. The soy sauce flavor was just right. The gyoza was excellent, with lots of filling and five large pieces. It was a very delicious ramen that I enjoyed at this favorite restaurant.
