Today, I bought ice cream at the tea and seaweed shop, Shinmura-san (893rd shop in the Kasai area). There are many seaweed shops in Kasai. This shop is one of them, but they also sell tea. It seems to be affiliated with Nihonbashi Nori Store in Nihonbashi, and they occasionally have special sales events. Today, I tried the ice cream they had outside the shop. There were 4 flavors, and I chose the "Intense Shizuoka Honmacha" flavor. The original price was 410 yen, but it was on sale for 380 yen that day. I enjoyed it at home, and it was really rich and flavorful! It truly felt like eating matcha. This ice cream, made with Jersey milk, was very well done. Elegant. There was also hojicha ice cream available, which I'm interested in trying next time. We don't eat seaweed much at home, but when we do, I would like to buy it from here. It's a nice shop.
