I went to the Ventario sweets buffet that has been revived. The atmosphere was elegant and relaxed as always. The variety of sweets and light snacks were beautifully presented and of high quality. There weren't many people that day, so I could leisurely pick out the dishes. The selection had a slightly summery vibe with mango shortcake, tarts, panna cotta, grape jelly, caramel pudding, tiramisu, macarons, and a couple of chocolate cakes. There was also a peach cake with a fancy design, cookies, financiers, fruits, and a variety of savory snacks like sandwiches, baguette with meat, lamb pies, quiches, and vegetable chips. The fresh healthy drinks were enjoyable, including green smoothies, sangria, beet juice, carrot ginger, cocoa nib soy milk, among others. There was also a live crepe station where I had a recommended banana and caramel sauce crepe which was very chewy. Although the ice cream selection was the same as before, the overall experience was great with a nice atmosphere and excellent service. I look forward to seeing more variety and seasonal themes in the future.

I had lunch at Mandarin Oriental right next to Mitsukoshi Nihonbashi. I have been to Ventari before for a dinner buffet, but this was my first time for lunch. The deciding factor for choosing this place was the ability to create your own course. You can choose 3 types of appetizers, soup, main course, and dessert from a wide selection. It was exciting to be able to create my own original course. The highlight here is probably the appetizers, and even though it's just appetizers, the portions are substantial. You can choose 3 types, so you will already feel quite full at this point. - Grape Juice White 1100 yen - Holiday Lunch Prix Fixe 6578 yen Appetizers: - Hokkaido Melon and Prosciutto Blue Cheese - Egg in the Nest - Yellowtail Escabeche Soup: - Roasted Tomato and Basil Soup Main: - Summer Vegetables with Tomato Avocado Basil Vinaigrette Dessert: - Verrine Selection I arrived 5 minutes before my reservation time, but the overall operation seemed slow. It took about 10 minutes to order drinks, 15 minutes to order the menu, 30 minutes for the first bread, and 45 minutes for the appetizers to arrive. The staff apologized for the wait several times, so there may have been some issues. Despite this, the taste was very delicious, so I am satisfied.

Night course. There are choices for three appetizers, main dish, rice dish, and dessert. It's rare to have options for vegan and gluten-free menus. Everything was delicious. The portions were quite generous. The chocolate cake dessert, like a fondant chocolat, was especially tasty. The atmosphere of the restaurant is casual, but sophisticated as expected from a hotel. The high ceiling and full glass windows create a sense of openness. It seems like a convenient place to have a meal with female friends.

After visiting for the first time, I went back a second time right away. It was crowded because it was the weekend. It took a little time for the food to come out, but the atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious. The customers were surprisingly on the older side, and everyone seemed to be relaxing. It was comfortable. The service was also polite. I have a feeling that the prices might go up a bit soon, but I still want to go back again soon.

On a regular weekday, I made a reservation using the One Michelin Star restaurant's plan. It seemed like not many people were aware of the restaurant's reopening yet, as there were only a few customers. I went with a friend, and the set menu cost around 5000 yen with one drink included. The menu had an interesting structure, with a choice of three appetizers, two soups, one main dish, and one dessert. The menu items were quite unique and hard to imagine just by reading their names and descriptions. Feeling a bit anxious, we made our selections. We started with the three appetizers, which were beautifully presented on a plate. They were surprisingly filling and absolutely delicious! Each dish had a unique and delightful flavor. Next, we tried the soups, which were also visually appealing and tasty. Then came the main dish, which was both generous in portion size and delicious! Finally, we enjoyed the dessert, which was a big hit! The portion sizes throughout the course were quite substantial, and as a dessert lover, I was thrilled! However, the meal left us feeling quite full due to the generous portions. Overall, the value for money was excellent. The staff were also very polite and attentive. I have no doubt that this place will become very popular. I look forward to visiting again soon.

After having lunch with a friend, I was looking for a place where we could chat a bit more over tea. I originally wanted to go to Chidoriya in the same building, but there were too many people waiting, so we ended up going to VENTAGLIO nearby. The high ceiling with an open atrium in the hotel creates a spacious atmosphere. They offer a choice of three types of sweets: mousse (3 varieties), roll cake (2 varieties), and mini choux cream (2 varieties). I ordered the mousse and coffee. I thought three might be too much, but they were all subtly sweet and I finished them all quickly. The coffee was easy to drink and paired perfectly with the mousse. The service was neither good nor bad, just right. Despite the sparse number of customers compared to the bustling neighboring restaurant, I found the cozy atmosphere to my liking. Thank you for the meal.

It's been a while. I can't come here alone because reservations are not possible (´ノω;`). There's no choice but to go on my own dime. I invited a friend saying, "Let's go because it's Valentine's Day." They responded indifferently, like "Well, I guess it's okay once in a while!" What the heck! Who do you think you are! Even so, I think it's worth going to this buffet. The Bagna Cauda I was looking forward to was really delicious this time too. Broccoli was not available, but wrapping lettuce with prosciutto and dipping it in Bagna Cauda sauce is just amazing. I ate so many plates of Bagna Cauda alone (laughs). The other appetizers were also delicious. The roast beef meat is smaller compared to other hotel buffets, but the sauce is as delicious as the Imperial Hotel. I tried taking the sauce on a separate plate and eating it. The hot menu, starting with roast beef, is not particularly recommended, but I think there is no place to compare in terms of the number and deliciousness of appetizers (compared to other hotel buffets only). Especially the Bagna Cauda is the best in Japan! It may not be glamorous, but the desserts were also delicious this time (゜ρ゜) I tried a few varieties in the middle because I was full and couldn't eat properly. The cheesecake and strawberry tart were delicious. Also, the mango sauce panna cotta (probably) was exquisite. By the way, I gained 2 kg just from this lunch. I have to work hard on my diet again! But I want to go again, even if I gain weight. Other buffet friends hate vegetables so I can't invite them... I need to figure out a way to go alone somehow. The only downside is that it takes an abnormally long time for drinks to arrive.

Attended a Christmas party at VENTARIO in Mandarin Oriental Hotel in 2019. Enjoyed a lovely lunch buffet with my usual group of friends, a total of 6 people. We opted for the Holiday Lunch Buffet plan from December's Christmas season to New Year 2020, priced at 6,800 yen including tax with one drink included. The drink options were sparkling wine, beer, red or white wine, as well as non-alcoholic beer and soft drinks. Moet could be added for an additional cost. The buffet spread included various winter appetizers, main dishes, carving station with roast beef and pork loin, festive desserts, pastry chef's dessert selection, and more. Although it wasn't a free-flow concept, I managed to get a refill of sparkling wine, which resulted in a surprisingly lower bill for me. It was my first time at Mandarin's VENTARIO in a long while, and the Christmas-themed sweets with Santa, snowman, and holly chocolate toppings were adorable. The appetizers and main dishes were consistently delicious, not commonly found in other hotel buffets. The thick cuts of roast beef were particularly satisfying. The only downside was the 120-minute time limit, which felt too short.

I reserved a buffet-style course at a high-end hotel in 2019. I felt a bit out of place due to the elegant atmosphere. The ambiance was impressive, but the food was not particularly outstanding. It was nice to feel rich and luxurious.

The weekday lunch buffet was around 4,500 yen. The staff were attentive and the quality was typical of a hotel. The smoked salmon in the appetizer was delicious. The bite-sized quiche had a crispy crust and a smooth, fluffy interior. The bagna cauda sauce was creamy with a cheesy flavor, perfect for enjoying with lots of vegetables. The shrimp and olive, cherry tomato and mozzarella, and quinoa salad were all well-prepared and satisfying. It would be nice to have a couple more options for hot meals. The chef-carved roast pork was tender and easy to eat. The table-served pasta with chicken, chestnuts, pumpkin, and soy milk sauce had a seasonal touch. The dessert corner had delicious ice cream. The Belgian chocolate ice cream had a rich chocolate flavor, and the strawberry and mascarpone, and grape sorbets were also tasty. The post-meal tea was served in a pot, allowing for refills. Overall, there were many cold dishes, so the warm tea was a nice touch.

□I made a reservation one week in advance for a weekday lunch at 11:30. The restaurant was bustling and fully booked throughout. □"Ventario" offers Mediterranean cuisine and is located in the Mandarin Oriental Tokyo hotel. The buffet dining area has an atrium and high ceilings that create a sense of openness. In addition to Italian dishes, you can also enjoy flavors from Spain, Turkey, and other countries. The high-class ambiance and surprisingly cost-effective pricing are the highlights of this dining experience. □Ordered the "Halloween Buffet" with 47 dishes and drinks included for ¥4,500 (tax included). Thank you for the delicious meal!

It's a buffet restaurant at Mandarin Oriental. It was fully booked on this Friday. The buffet display is clean and simple, with high-quality textures. They only served pasta on this day. The pasta and risotto were delicious with rich flavors. However, the carved roast beef at the buffet station was a bit tough and dry. Other main dishes and sides were tasty but slightly disappointing. The wine was surprisingly good value and satisfying.

I reserved a lunch reservation for a change of pace at this restaurant. It's Mandarin Oriental Tokyo's hotel buffet, so you can enjoy a variety of dishes in a lovely open space. The bagna cauda, roast beef, and salmon marinade were delicious. The dessert selection is quite extensive as well. The maple syrup-flavored ice cream was particularly tasty.

"Ventariomandarin Oriental Tokyo" Beautiful and delicious lunch with appetizers. On May 31, 2019, I had lunch with my friends, Uki Mouse-chan, on our Tokyo excursion. We walked from the Imperial Palace to the Mandarin Oriental Hotel in Nihonbashi. The large curtains are impressive. The restaurant, "Ventari," is on the second floor. It was my second visit. I booked a brunch with one drink included through ikkyu.com. The reservation was for 1:30 pm, and we could stay until the closing time at 4 pm. The high ceiling in this place feels very comfortable. The colorful appetizers looked beautiful and delicious. The layout of this restaurant is well-designed so that customers don't have to line up for their food. The bread looked delicious, but I couldn't eat it. From pickles to caprese to couscous, there were various cold dishes, as well as Turkish-inspired dishes. The main dishes included roast beef and four other items. There were also paella and pasta dishes. I chose a sparkling wine as my drink, which paired perfectly with the colorful appetizers. Each dish was delicious, especially the quiche in the middle, which had a buttery, flaky crust and was the highlight for me. I couldn't resist having seconds. My friend Uki-chan's plate was filled with her favorite young corn. After finishing the appetizers, we moved on to the main course. The carving service roast beef was a bit tough, and I wished it was sliced thinner. The mashed potatoes and gravy were delicious, though. The cheese cracker on a stick was a great accompaniment to the wine. We also enjoyed the shrimp scampi with Americaine sauce. For dessert, we had ice cream and sorbet in four different flavors. The cold desserts were a refreshing end to the meal. The strawberry and mascarpone ice cream was particularly good. The green tea financier-like baked dessert was rich and satisfying. Overall, the appetizers were the highlight of the meal, and we were very satisfied. Thank you for the delicious meal.

Overall, it was good. However, there are better and cheaper lunch buffets available. The person cutting the roast beef wasn't very skilled, some slices were thin while others were about 7mm thick. The most delicious dish was something like a salmon carpaccio. We made a reservation for Golden Week and the restaurant was fully booked. The Mandarin Oriental's original tea was delicious, so be sure to try it!

During the middle of the consecutive holidays, four of us had lunch together. We opted for a course that included drinks and a buffet without pasta. Although we have eaten at this buffet many times before, the variety of ingredients in the appetizer buffet allows us to enjoy different flavors. The buffet is categorized as Mediterranean cuisine, with a mix of Italian, Greek, Turkish, and Maghreb dishes. I always enjoy dishes like olive oil with focaccia, tahini, and bagna cauda sauce. I'm not very interested in the main dishes, so I just grabbed some roast beef, but I could do without it. As for desserts, I'm not particularly excited about them, so I could just stick to the appetizers. I would be fine with just the appetizers if I were alone, but since I'm not, it's good to have company.

I recommend the Bagna Cauda and Mango Bread ❤️ It was a holiday dinner. The day before, I checked out a great deal on a plan with 2 drinks and roast beef for 6200 yen on One Day. We used it with our family. The Mandarin Oriental Hotel is lovely ╰(*´︶`*)╯♡ The Vendario is on the 2nd floor, with a luxurious space up to the 5th floor. We toasted with beer and sparkling wine!! For the second drink, we chose a glass of wine. The sparkling wine and wine were ordinary. The buffet had a lot of cold dishes. It had a variety of dishes from various Mediterranean countries, using various herbs and spices, all delicious and enjoyable ❤️ The Bagna Cauda was the best!! The Southern Island dressing was unique, slightly sweet and refreshing, very delicious... The couscous salad with cumin flavor, Greek yogurt salad, lamb mince crepe, and other dishes were full of originality. The warm dishes included roast pork, chicken tomato stew, beef lasagna, sea bream acqua pazza, roasted potatoes and pumpkin, and roast beef. The roast pork was the most delicious. The warm dishes were quite ordinary. You could choose from 3 types of pasta and risotto, and each person was served one dish. We chose the spaghetti with shrimp, whitebait, broccoli, and sakura shrimp, and the aioli and crab and lobster seaweed risotto. The aioli had a good garlic aroma with thin noodles, just right in terms of saltiness... delicious!! The risotto was delicious in a normal way, as I'm not particularly fond of crab. The mango bread at the bread buffet was really delicious ❤️ The tomato focaccia was also good. You could enjoy it with balsamic vinegar, olive oil, orange oil, etc. For desserts, the cakes, tarts, and bavarois were not outstanding... I thought the fruit punch and cookies were delicious. The caramel ice cream is very rich! There were 4 types of ice cream, including sorbet. After the meal, we enjoyed delicious coffee and my favorite original blend tea to our heart's content. It was a happy dinner in a luxurious space with a great deal ❤️

Mediterranean lunch buffet. Delicious. There are dishes and ingredients I've never seen before, so it's fun. I have repeated it several times. Always with female friends. Feel like a beautiful person (〃ω〃) You can eat plenty of vegetables. The high ceiling, the bright sunlight pouring in, and the greenery create a lovely space. Each dish is carefully prepared. The sweets are all delicious. I especially like the rare cheesecake-like dessert. When we chose the course without time restrictions, we were able to chat and enjoy tea slowly even after finishing eating, and we were very satisfied ♡

Once again, I visited Ventarion for a Viking-themed dinner. Today's event was all about wine. We started with a recommended dry wine for a toast, with the food being a secondary concern. We began with mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, prosciutto, and olives for the toast. Among a variety of Mediterranean dishes, we rotated between these three items. We also enjoyed some delicious tamagoyaki from Tsukiji market outside. When it comes to lunch buffets, you might expect pasta, gratin, soba, udon, salad, sashimi, seafood bowls, soup, miso soup, fried rice, yakisoba, steak, curry rice, etc. However, this buffet focused on Mediterranean cuisine, with no carbohydrates in sight. It was a bit disappointing, but it felt like being invited to a garden party. The elegant dishes, stylish ambiance, and beautiful layout were all a matter of personal preference. The wine we enjoyed in stylish glasses was absolutely delicious.

The openness of this atrium is amazing. From the second to the fifth floor, there is an open space with thick, round columns resembling a Greek temple, tall and wide windows, and a spacious buffet area with a variety of dishes. This dinner buffet included an appetizer buffet, one pasta dish, a dessert buffet, two drinks, and coffee after the meal. I started with a rose sparkling wine and enjoyed the appetizer buffet with items like Caesar salad, carrot salad, cold cuts, shrimp, chicken, and focaccia. The warm dish of veal ragu and paprika puff pastry roll "briwat" was delicious. For the pasta course, I chose the orecchiette with clams and rapeseed in basil sauce, which had a simple and comforting flavor. I then had another round of appetizers with smoked salmon and a variety of dishes. Even though I was full, I couldn't resist the dessert buffet with gelato, mini cakes, and panna cotta. I indulged in cassis and strawberry gelato, along with various mini cakes and finished with a mandarin art cappuccino. It was a delightful dining experience.
