Oden is really good here! The broth is delicious. It was my first time here, and I think it's a good restaurant. But it's expensive! The appetizer was 253 yen, which was okay, but the broth soup was 715 yen, sashimi platter was 638 yen, and each piece of sashimi was a first for me. Beef tendon was 352 yen, chikuwa (fish cake) was 242 yen. If you drink seriously, you could easily spend over 5,000 yen, so I left quickly. Thanks for the meal. I'll come back when I earn more money.笑

I wanted to try it out and saw an empty seat, so I decided to enter the restaurant. I ordered oden with eggs, daikon radish, fish cakes, konjac, and bamboo shoots. I also tried the beef tongue with wasabi and bone-in chicken (which was different from what I expected). The oden had a refined taste and was delicious. The beef tongue was tender and melted in my mouth, while the bone-in chicken was also tasty. The dashi broth was easy to drink and I thought it was better than the one at a restaurant in Akabane. When I entered, both the staff at the counter and in the hall seemed to ignore me for a while. It felt like no one was paying attention to new customers. The staff at the counter left all the customer service to the hall staff, who were also understaffed. Some of the items I ordered were forgotten, so I finished in about 40 minutes. The bill came to around 7500 yen for two people, which felt reasonable for a casual dining experience. However, the atmosphere was a bit chaotic and may not be very relaxing. It seemed like a place where tourists and passersby would come in.

Today's post-golf reflection meeting took place at Odenya Takeshi in Nippori☘️ I tried to make a reservation the day before, but unfortunately, they don't accept reservations⚠️ This information was incorrect, and it has been updated on Tabelog㊙️ When I arrived at 6:30 pm, all the tables were full, so I sat at the counter corner in front of the pot. It turned out to be a good decision as it was spacious and comfortable⭕️ Before ordering oden, I got some appetizers: potato salad♦️, bonito sashimi♻️, and deep-fried fish cake with bamboo shoot. There were two types of oden broth available - a clear horse mackerel broth♨️ and a milky chicken broth. The standout dishes were the gatsu (guts) and kakuteki (chicken) salad⭕️ Since the appetizers were taking some time, I decided to order oden✔️ Starting with the classic egg☢️ and the seasonal bamboo shoot - delicious! The broth was so flavorful that everything else tasted amazing✴️ Personally, I preferred the horse mackerel broth over the chicken broth㊙️ Among the appetizers, the bonito sashimi♦️ stood out☘️ It was worth the price and I left feeling satisfied and happy♪ The place was fully booked, but the food was delicious! Takeshi❗️ I will definitely come back㊗️ However, they only offer shots for drinks, no bottles, and the prices are a bit high➰

I enjoyed a feast with my Foodlog friends after a long time♪ It was a rainy day with cool temperatures, so we decided to visit a place that had caught our interest since it opened last year. The website greeted us with a phrase: "Two types of broth and creative oden for a luxurious time. Enjoy a unique experience with 'agodashi' and 'chickendashi' oden." We were intrigued, especially by the chicken broth, which is rare. Here is what we enjoyed: - Appetizer - Beer (medium bottle) x2 - Daikon [agodashi] - Egg [agodashi] - Fish cake [agodashi] - Surimi fish cake [agodashi] - Tomato [chickendashi] - Beef tongue meatball [chickendashi] - Takachiho (wheat) soda mix - Tomi no Hana (potato) hot water mix - Potato with butter [chickendashi] - Onion [chickendashi] - Cabbage roll [chickendashi] - Potato salad - Green gin soda - Tomi no Hana (potato) on the rocks x3 (※Menu details here: [link]) We started with a toast with bottled beer! We ordered oden with both types of broth to taste each one. We enjoyed trying each one and sharing our thoughts. The 'agodashi' oden had a rich flavor and the daikon had a nice texture. The 'chickendashi' oden had a broth that resembled chicken white soup. The tomato oden in chicken broth was surprisingly delicious. The beef tongue meatball in chicken broth was also a hit. Overall, we were satisfied with the variety and flavors of the oden. We made sure not to overindulge in alcohol during our long-awaited gathering. After warming up with some drinks and oden, we were ready to move on to the next place. The total bill was 8,866 yen for three people, a nice round number to end the evening.

I received an invitation to go out for drinks after a long time, so I headed to Nippori. The restaurant we went to is known for offering two types of oden made with dashi broth - one with bonito broth and the other with chicken broth. It was my first time trying oden with chicken broth, so I was excited to give it a try. We started with bottled beer (Premium Malt's) for 748 yen and a small appetizer of shredded daikon with whitebait for 253 yen. The oden dishes we ordered included daikon (with bonito broth), egg (with bonito broth), fish cake (with bonito broth), fish cake (with bonito broth), tomato (with chicken broth), beef tongue meatball (with chicken broth), buttered potato (with chicken broth), onion (with chicken broth), and cabbage roll (with chicken broth). The bonito broth oden was delicious with a rich flavor, while the chicken broth oden was a new experience for me, resembling a clear stew. I couldn't decide between onion and cabbage roll, but ultimately chose the cabbage roll. We also ordered a potato salad for 528 yen, which was served in two layers and was very satisfying. We enjoyed drinks like green tea gin soda and shochu, and the total bill came to 8,866 yen, which was a bit tricky to split between the three of us.

I attended my first offline meeting in March. It was rainy in the morning, but it stopped by the time I arrived! Everyone is so nice! We went to Takeshi's near the station. This shop serves oden with both chin and chicken broth. We toasted with bottled beer, specifically Premium Malt's. I was a bit nervous about what to order for my first offline meeting, but I ended up ordering the classic daikon and egg oden. The broth was really flavorful, and the presentation with shredded kelp on top added a nice touch of green. The daikon was perfectly tender. I also tried some of everyone else's dishes. The chicken broth oden with tomato was vibrant and tasty. The beef tongue meatball was tender with a bit of chewiness, which was nice. The ganmo and hanpen soaked up the broth well. The onion in the chicken broth, cabbage roll, garlic rice, and corn added depth of flavor. The buttered potato had a nice texture and wasn't too soft. This shop knows how to present their dishes well! They even asked us to take photos. I also ordered a potato salad, which was good but a bit pricey at 528 yen. I also had some sweet potato shochu (Tomino Hozan) and everyone else ordered their drinks. The oden at the first shop was delicious! It's a place where you can enjoy a drink by yourself. Now, where should we go for the second round? When I got home, I remembered something. Takeshi, Takeshi... Oh, it was featured in the media! Gindaco... Yes, Gindaco! They use octopus for takoyaki, and the finely chopped parts are used in oden. That's why they had octopus meatballs! Oden equals octopus... I never made that connection before, but I might try it next time!

I tried a few different dishes at this place that focuses on healthy options. They offer two types of oden, one with flying fish broth and the other with chicken broth. The flying fish broth was really delicious when I tried it. The beef tendon was also tasty, and the daikon radish was flavorful. The thick omelette was good too. The beef tongue with wasabi was tender and tasty. The chicken broth was rich and could even be used for ramen soup. Overall, the impression was okay, but the cost performance was a bit questionable. Due to some circumstances, we didn't drink alcohol, but the total bill for my husband and me was around 6000 yen.

I often come to Nippori and never paid much attention, but I went there for the first time based on a friend's recommendation. The interior of the restaurant is clean and has a sense of cleanliness. However, for the price, I personally found it to be just okay. The broth was very sweet (´-ェ-`) It was written as "dashi-wari," but with this sweet broth, it didn't quite match... The taste of daikon wasn't too sweet, so I think they use a different broth for preparation. It's convenient being close to the station, but I probably won't go again. I tried to imitate ◯ー美's way of taking photos haha

Today I went to Nippori. Lately, I've been seeing Odenya Takeshi's shops in various places. Both shops are always crowded. I started with a sweet potato shochu on the rocks. Very very tasty. It was late, so some items were sold out... I ordered daikon and konjac oden. Additional dishes included miso cucumbers and more. The miso was a bit creamy. The cucumbers were fresh, so it would be good to have them with a shochu highball, making it a "kappa" drink. Thank you for the meal. I will visit again when I have the chance!

Odenya Takeshi-san is located about a 30-second walk from Nippori Station! This time, I ordered Sake-kasuzuke Cheese (460 yen), a sashimi platter with 3 types of fish (980 yen), Agodashi Edo Kinchaku (500 yen each), Beef Tendon (280 yen each), Daikon Radish (220 yen), and Chikuwa (200 yen). We ordered two drinks each, and the total bill was about 3000 yen per person!! Odenya Takeshi-san opened their Nippori branch at the end of May this year, and it's always packed with customers! My favorites are the Beef Tendon and Daikon Radish. The Daikon Radish is so big that you might think "Is this just one!?" It's full of flavor and soaks up the delicate and refreshing taste of the Agodashi broth, making it a truly satisfying dish. The Oden with Agodashi broth is also available for takeout, making it a great addition to your dinner! (Please note that some items may not be available for takeout). Thank you for the delicious meal!

A new oden restaurant opened in front of Nippori Station. I visited on a Saturday night at 6 pm and there were some empty seats at the counter, so I decided to go in. More customers started coming in afterwards. The oden broth comes in two types: a rich dashi broth and a chicken broth. The oden ingredients were different for each type. The rich dashi was a bit sweet, while the chicken broth was lighter and I added some yuzu pepper to enhance the flavor. Since the restaurant is still new, the staff seemed a bit inexperienced, so I'm curious to see how they will improve in the future. The customer next to me left most of their pickles uneaten. I agree, the pickles were disappointing and I'm glad I didn't order them. Being right in front of the station, it's convenient for a quick drink and bite to eat.

Total 9,152 yen. Visited for Sunday dinner. There was a wait outside due to many customers, but it wasn't too crowded inside. There were 7 staff members working. The oden was decent, with surprisingly clear chicken soup. There were two cabbage rolls and one of everything else. The furigana for the menu here is actually incorrect. (laughs)

I visited alone at a late hour so I couldn't order a variety of dishes, but the tempura and sashimi were delicious. The menu is extensive so I would like to visit with multiple people next time and try other dishes as well.

There is a wide variety of oden options available. The chicken dish is more like chicken porridge. It has a gentle flavor.

From the moment I walked in, I could smell the delicious aroma of oden. I enjoyed everything I tried, and the prices were reasonable, making it a casual place to stop by. This oden izakaya is especially convenient in winter. It was nice to find a restaurant near the station that wasn't too crowded on holidays.
