I was planning to visit the restaurant after seeing a lunch announcement on Google local guide. The restaurant, Osteria arcobaleno, offers a lunch menu starting this month. The pasta lunch includes a choice of pasta (A or B), three appetizers, and a drink. Feeling a bit unsatisfied, I hesitantly decided to stop by. I was warmly welcomed and decided to start with a glass of sparkling wine, recalling how delicious it was last time. I also ordered bruschetta, craving some tomatoes. And since the restaurant is known for its yakitori, I had to try the chicken skewers - today, I chose chicken breast. The sparkling wine poured elegantly was perfect for a solo drink. Some days you just don't want to think about anything, right? The bruschetta was delicious, especially with those amazing tomatoes. But I couldn't help but wonder how to eat them without dropping any... Oh well. The yakitori was also beautifully presented and I enjoyed it at the corner of the counter. After three glasses of sparkling wine, I treated myself to tiramisu for dessert. Everything was delicious at this great restaurant. The kind farewell made me feel like I had grown up a bit. Alright, time to give it my all starting tomorrow. That's how I felt as I left the restaurant.

The deadline for distributing the national travel support coupons is approaching, so I visited this place where both paper and app can be used to confirm during reservation. The location is at the end of Tanukikoji Shopping Street, across from Nijo Market, I think? When I went, it was on the second floor of a building down a side street from the end. Inside the store, there were lively ladies having a party, gathering, or drinking. Other than that, there were a few pairs of women and one couple. The recommended dish at the restaurant, as researched beforehand, is the assorted appetizers. Normally for two people, but they can make it for one person. The drink was the house sparkling wine, Ferrari, which was reliably delicious. If it's a day when you can eat and drink quietly, I might go again with two or more people.

This was my first time visiting at night, but I have been here for lunch before. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere with some hidden seating areas. They offer a variety of about 7 appetizers in a platter, all of which are delicious. The pate is especially tasty. Since the restaurant is named after yakitori, you must try their yakitori. It has a tender yet flavorful taste. The roasted lamb meat also has a nice texture and is cooked with a wild yet careful touch, making it very delicious. The food is tasty, but the main dishes took about 90 minutes to come out after ordering, even though the restaurant wasn't crowded. If this is the norm, I wouldn't be able to bring anyone here.

In the back alley of Tanuki Koji area in May 2023, there is a quietly hidden yakitori x creative Italian cuisine bar, a stylish place where adults can relax. The owner of the restaurant has a great posture and the atmosphere is wonderful. There is no cover charge, and I ordered two bottles of red wine. The food and drinks exceeded my expectations, with creative dishes that even someone like me who is not a fan of offal could enjoy. The wine was perfect, and the yakitori and gnocchi were outstanding. This place is perfect for dining alone as well. It's a great place to reward yourself after a hard day. Thank you for the delicious meal!

After the monthly ancient document lecture, I went to a pasta restaurant on Saturdays at 12:15. There were two customers already seated and three more arrived after me. I was shown to a table for two and ordered the lunch pasta set for 1650 yen, which included an appetizer, pasta, and a drink. I decided to add a glass of red wine for an extra 110 yen. The appetizer was a tomato vegetable stew, baguette with chicken pate, and broccoli in garlic oil. The chicken pate was creamy and dessert-like, and the baguette was irresistible. For the pasta, I chose the "Courtesan-style" pasta with squid and basil in tomato sauce. It was flavorful with a good amount of capers and a nice basil aroma. The pasta was cooked al dente and the portion looked small but was actually just right. I spent about an hour there and paid 1760 yen in total. I enjoyed my meal while playing Pokémon GO, making the experience even more fun.

Italian food that looks delicious. And yakitori? It's a strange combination, but I like both, so I'm drawn to it. Let's go for it! I quietly climbed the stairs as soon as the restaurant opened. Carefully up the narrow staircase of a slightly old building. When I opened the door, I was guided to the back of the counter. Hmm, should I start with beer? Wine would probably be better, but I'll stick with beer. The glass is lovely. It's a delicious cold beer. I was hesitating about the appetizers, but the staff kindly suggested that they could do a half portion of the assorted appetizers. How thoughtful! So, I'll have the half portion of assorted appetizers. Caprese, broccoli with peperoncino, ham, frittata, all gathered together in a wonderful appetizer. Everything was so delicious. Since I'm here, I'll have some wine. I chose a sparkling Ferrari Maximum Brut. The staff mentioned that it's used for champagne fights when they win in F1 races. What a waste, I thought. I had two glasses of the sparkling wine, and then ordered tiramisu. I wanted to try the yakitori, but I couldn't fit it in today... I'm really showcasing my small appetite. The tiramisu was not too sweet, it had a grown-up taste. A wonderful, sophisticated atmosphere. I love it here. I'll definitely try the yakitori next time. That's how I feel.

Today, I had a dinner with my work colleagues that I haven't seen in a year. We opted for the Party Plan course which cost around 6,000 yen. I arrived early and spoke with the sommelier, Sato-san, who offered to remove the free drink option and deduct that amount from the course fee so we could choose our own drinks instead. The unlimited drinks were quite tempting. When my partner arrived, we toasted with beer. The appetizers were a mix of octopus marinated in a prostitute-style, chicken pate, Italian buffalo mozzarella caprese, vegetable tomato caponata, prosciutto, and marinated bacon with white kidney beans. The appetizers were delicious. The yakitori skewers were made with Sakura Princess chicken thigh and breast with Maldon salt and tapenade sauce. The seasonal dish was a Hirame carpaccio with strawberry sauce, which was surprisingly good. We enjoyed a Pinot Noir with the meal. The pasta dish was made with shrimp, mushrooms, and bottarga in aglio e olio style. The main course was pan-seared cod with puttanesca sauce, which was incredibly tasty. We ended the meal with a homemade bitter dessert. Overall, it was a satisfying meal with delicious food and drinks.

Today, I was taken to a restaurant that served delicious sake and dishes. The menu included: - Assorted appetizers: Marinated octopus, Sakura princess chicken pate, Italian buffalo Caprese, Tomato-stewed caponata with vegetables, Prosciutto, Marinated white beans with aged bacon - Hirame carpaccio with strawberry sauce - Yakitori: Sakura princess chicken thigh with Maldon salt, Sakura princess chicken breast with tapenade sauce - Pasta: Shrimp and mushroom Aglio e Olio with Karasumi - Main dish: Pan-fried cod with Puttanesca sauce - Dessert: Gateau Chocolat The wine was delicious and easy to drink, and we quickly finished a bottle. The sommelier really knew their stuff. I definitely want to visit this restaurant again.

New Year's party٩(ˊᗜˋ*)و I visited this place that I was curious about♪ A restaurant where you can enjoy both yakitori and Italian cuisine! However, there are only 3 types of yakitori, so I ordered mainly Italian dishes. The staff recommended the assorted appetizers, which includes 7 different dishes! I tried all 3 types of skewers: venison tsukune, which was rare and delicious with a good texture; Sakurahime chicken thigh and breast, both of which were deliciously arranged in an Italian style! I would be happy if they added more types of yakitori. The herb-roasted North Akari and aged bacon combination was also very delicious! This combination never disappoints. The pasta, called "Genova Spaghetti," which boasts being the best in Sapporo, was indeed very delicious with a strong flavor that I personally like♪ For drinks, we opened a bottle of sparkling wine and then ordered a bottle of white wine, which was also opened haha. The bill came to around 18,000 yen for three people, and they also offer course meals, so the course might be good next time! Since it's still a new restaurant, I'll be rooting for them! Thank you for the meal! On a side note, the location of the building was a bit hard to find, and I got lost! This area is full of "Hirokazu Building" haha. When I finally arrived after getting lost, I found out that it's in the same building as my favorite "Hiroshi" restaurant haha. And this restaurant was originally where a place called "Sagaku" used to be. I didn't ask if Sagaku closed down or moved, but there was a framed sign with "Sagaku" on the wall☆

The other day I stopped by for a casual drink and it was delicious, so I came back today for another drink. The meeting time was 5:00 pm, made a same-day reservation and enjoyed drinks at the counter. Cheers with some bubbles! I was recommended the following appetizers: - Assorted appetizers - Tripe and chickpea tomato stew - Sakura Princess chicken thigh For the main dishes: - Gnocchi with gorgonzola cream - Penne all'arrabbiata The food was delicious and the drinks were great. I came to this place after having a full meal at a Chinese restaurant earlier in the day, so I was feeling quite full. It was 8:00 PM and there was only one other group left in the restaurant. I was seated at a table by the window and ordered a bottle of Pinot Noir, which had a light and smooth taste. I decided to go for some light dishes to accompany the wine. - The salted cherry blossom chicken was served with Maldon salt from England, which has a mild and flavorful taste. It really enhanced the flavor of the grilled chicken skewers. - The crispy baguette with cherry blossom chicken pate was delicious. The pate was light, but I prefer it to be a bit richer in flavor. The chef in the kitchen and the sommelier providing excellent service were a contrasting pair, each with their own unique personalities but working together seamlessly. Their dedication to their roles was impressive. They also mentioned that the pasta was delicious, so I look forward to trying it next time.

It's been 9 months since I last visited Sapporo. I flew in on the afternoon flight and headed to Tanukikoji for dinner. Since it was my first meal, I took a lot of photos haha. We went to an Italian and yakitori restaurant. They had a wine tasting option, and it was really good as recommended. The food was delicious too! The yakitori was also tasty. I would love to visit again in winter. Thank you for the delicious meal!

It was opened after Left Bank. The interior didn't change much. They also serve lunch. They had pasta sets with appetizer and drink included, with two options available. I had the Amatriciana and it was very delicious. They also had individual dishes and there were ladies enjoying wine, so you could even have a drink at lunch. The seating is not very large, so it's better to make a reservation on weekends. Thank you for the meal!

Between errands, it's time for lunch. I headed towards Odori, but it was already past 12:30, so I gave up on Odori and made my way to Tanukikoji. It had suddenly gotten colder, so I decided to look for a restaurant in the area of a building with food and drink establishments on the 1st block. I decided to explore the back buildings that I hadn't visited before. I saw a sign with pasta menu written on it. I decided to go in. I went up to the 2nd floor. Upon entering the restaurant, I was prompted to disinfect my hands and was seated at a table for 4 even though I was alone. There were no other customers at the time. I was seated by the window where I could see outside, which was quite nice. Later, two more people arrived. It seemed like they happened to have an available table. I was given a glass of water and handed the menu. The set menu included an appetizer, pasta, and a drink. There were two options for pasta: tomato-based and oil-based. I chose the bacon and mushroom tomato sauce pasta. I placed my order. For an additional 100 yen, I could switch the drink to wine, but I had other plans after this, so I opted for coffee after the meal. While waiting, I checked out the restaurant and realized it was one that I had bookmarked. After a few minutes, the appetizer was served. Caponata, chicken mousse, and broccoli peperoncino. I tried the Caponata first. The tomato sauce was rich, but delicious. This set a high expectation for the pasta. The chicken mousse was smooth and had a gentle flavor. The broccoli peperoncino had a nice balance of sweetness from the broccoli and a strong garlic flavor. Even just the appetizers were quite satisfying, and I felt like having wine. After a while, the main pasta dish arrived. It had a vibrant red sauce with a hint of garlic. The pasta was al dente, and the tomato sauce was rich. It had a good balance of sweetness, acidity, and garlic aroma, with a strong tomato flavor. The bacon was cut into large pieces, adding richness along with shiitake, enoki, and shimeji mushrooms. The tomato sauce was so rich that I wished there was some bread to dip in it. Finally, I enjoyed a cup of coffee. The tomato sauce was so addictive. It was a lucky find as I had just stumbled upon the restaurant, but it turned out to be one that I had bookmarked. The restaurant seems like a great place for wine and a la carte dishes in the evening. I would love to try a different pasta dish next time.

Located next to a shop where military clothing catches the eye on Tanuki Koji 1-chome, there used to be a restaurant called "Left Bank" before. Left Bank was also a good Italian restaurant. This time, I visited during lunchtime and chose the 1500 yen lunch pasta. I chose the clam pasta over the tomato sauce pasta. For the appetizer, vegetables and small bread were served. The broccoli was delicious. The pasta had a strong garlic flavor and was delicious. The noodles were firm and to my liking. The clams were also tasty. I wonder if the cooking was just right? Also, the coffee was delicious. It had a mild acidity, which I liked. I would like to come back for dinner as well.

My Italian-loving partner and I chose this place for the day! First, cheers with beer!! ^-^ This Italian restaurant on the small second floor has a very nice atmosphere. We ordered: - Chef's assorted appetizers 2400 yen - Sakura Princess Chicken thigh 400 yen - Sakura Princess Chicken tenderloin 400 yen - Genova Spaghetti 1500 yen - Peroni Nastro Azzurro x2 1600 yen - G Donna Chardonnay x2 1400 yen - G Le Mondesovignion x2 2000 yen The appetizer assortment dominated our stomachs (lol) with lots of vegetables, ham, and more! We also ordered the delicious Italian chicken skewers. Chicken tends to have a strong flavor no matter how it's cooked, so the preferred preparation method is key. To finish, we had pasta, of course. We chose Genova to end the meal! My partner doesn't like paprika, so I gladly took all of it. As long as it's cooked, I enjoy any amount. I really enjoyed the wine on this day. I moved from Hiragishi to the left bank, and found a precious shop where you can drink Ferrari for only 900 yen! I had three glasses of it. The pasta with shirasu and karasumi was really delicious. ✨
