The restaurant is located just a short walk from Okubo Station, on the left side of the street after turning from Kotakibashi Street towards Shinjuku. The exterior remains nostalgic and unchanged, with a new sign reading "BELLA NOTTE." The interior has a warm atmosphere with a vintage feel, reminiscent of a countryside town in Italy. The menu offers a variety of pasta dishes, including the specialty "Bella Notte Meatball Spaghetti," as well as classics like tomato sauce and carbonara, with a total of 25 options. The lunch menu includes a choice of two items with any pasta order, such as pasta extra portion, lunch salad, toast, garlic toast, dessert, or drink. Inside, there are about 7-8 tables lined up, and I was seated at one of them. There are also counter seats and semi-private table seats towards the back. Most of the seats were already taken. Lunchtime is from 12:00 to 14:00 on weekdays. The menu is divided into categories like tomato sauce, peperoncino, basil, egg, sea urchin, cod roe, tomato cream, garlic butter soy sauce, and further categorized by ingredients. Prices range from 900 yen to 1,500 yen. I was intrigued by the famous meatball spaghetti from a certain anime, so I decided to try that. You can choose between fresh pasta or a special thick noodle with a thickness of 2.5mm, and I chose fresh pasta. - Meatball Spaghetti 1,380 yen For lunch service, you can choose 2 items from pasta extra serving, salad, toast, dessert, and drink. I chose a drink and dessert (panna cotta) for after the meal. The interior of the restaurant has an antique feel and a nice atmosphere. The meatballs were well-seasoned with a slightly salty taste, which paired well with the pasta in tomato sauce. I finished the pasta in about 5 minutes, and then waited for the drink and dessert, but they took a while to arrive. Other tables seemed to be experiencing the same delay. After waiting for 15 minutes, the drink and dessert finally arrived. The panna cotta had a jam-like sauce on top and was refreshing and tasty. The iced coffee came in a wine glass and was just a regular coffee. In the end, I spent a little over an hour there. It's a nice place to have a leisurely lunch, but the timing of the service can be inconsistent. I wouldn't recommend it if you're in a hurry. They accept payment via PayPay. I'll visit again when I have more time.

I came to the restaurant with three friends. We ordered the lunch course because it was said that we could enjoy the dishes loved by Roland. Everything was delicious and just the right amount, satisfying for both men and women. I was surprised by the thick pasta noodles. I didn't use the restroom so I can't comment on that. I heard that you can also rent out the place, and the cost performance seems good, so I thought it would be nice to use it for some kind of event.

I ordered the 2,680 yen course which included appetizers, pasta, main dish, dessert, and a drink, and it was quite fulfilling. The appetizers had a rich flavor that I loved, and the famous meatball pasta was delicious in taste and portion. It might be a bit too much for women in terms of quantity. If there was one thing to improve, it would be the dessert. While tasty, it felt a bit disappointing compared to the other dishes. Adding some ice cream or something extra would make it better. Overall, I think the quality was excellent. You can sense that the restaurant is carefully curated by Roland, a well-known celebrity. By the way, Disney music plays continuously in the restaurant, so it's even more recommended for Disney fans! :)

After making up our minds, we tried to place our order, only to find out that the Bella Notte meatball pasta we wanted was sold out. Disappointed, we quickly changed our order to Seafood Pasta with Uni Cream Sauce and Bacon and Mushroom with Garlic Butter Soy Sauce. We chose a drink and dessert as our two additional items. The pasta came with 2.5mm thick noodles by default, so if you prefer fresh pasta, you need to specify. Our dishes arrived at 13:47: the Seafood Pasta with Uni Cream Sauce was delicious, with a nice balance of sweetness from the uni cream sauce and shiso. The seafood was plentiful, though slightly chewy. I happened to see ROLAND SHOW on YouTube and decided to visit Roland's shop. It's about a 3-minute walk from Okubo Station. I ordered the specialty meatball spaghetti. During lunchtime, you can choose two items from extra noodles, salad, toast, garlic toast, dessert, and a drink. I chose salad and garlic toast and waited. The salad was quite wild in its presentation. The specialty meatball spaghetti had a stronger acidity than I expected. I was imagining a bolognese-like flavor, but this was an original taste. Next time, I want to try the classic pasta as well.

It felt like being in a certain theme park... The specialty here is the Meatball Spaghetti (^_^) You can eat the pasta that appears in the famous scene of "Lady and the Tramp"! The sauce with big meatballs and the acidity of the tomatoes was delicious! The thick and chewy noodles were also tasty. I'm curious about the other pastas too! The Rossini surprisingly didn't have foie gras... When I mentioned that there was no foie gras, there was just a brief explanation (foie gras is difficult to source overall). But the price remained the same, which was puzzling... The meat was tender and the seasoning was to my liking, so it was good. But if there's no foie gras, I probably won't order it again... Overall, I was highly satisfied and would like to visit for lunch as well.

I ordered a glass of wine and white sangria, but they said the sangria was sold out shortly after going to the back. When I asked about rose, they said it was also sold out. It's understandable that the unique sangria would sell out. The restaurant was almost empty on a Sunday after 8:30 pm, and they didn't seem to be aware that the sangria was sold out. The drink menu paper was quite wrinkled, showing they don't pay attention to details. The wine prices seemed a bit high, starting at 800 yen for a glass and 3500 yen for a bottle. I ordered the appetizer platter, but it turned out to be a ham platter instead. The menu listed olives and cheese, which were missing. When I asked, they said those items weren't included. I was surprised that items listed on the menu weren't actually served. They offered a beef fillet Rossini-style without foie gras for 2500 yen, which I accepted. When it arrived, I couldn't tell the difference between that and the Taliata. The pasta selection mentioned in the video seemed to be only available for lunch. There was no option for water, and they didn't ask if we wanted bottled water. The background music was Disney medleys, which didn't create a dinner atmosphere. I arrived just before 5:00 PM and observed the inside of the restaurant from outside for a while. There were no other customers waiting, and I was anxious to get inside quickly. When I opened the door a few minutes before the opening time, I was met with a cold response and a cold stare from the sommelier/manager and another person. They told me that they start at 5:00 PM! Feeling embarrassed because I had praised the restaurant to my family based on the YouTube video, I left. Just before the opening time, another young employee came out to fix the sign that Roland-san had DIY painted and noticed us, inviting us to come in. We were seated at Roland-san's favorite window-side table, but there was still a tense atmosphere with the manager from earlier. I tried to change the mood and had a pleasant conversation with the young employee about the YouTube video, the ornaments in the restaurant, and the Hachioji branch. I felt that this employee truly understood Roland-san's feelings. I felt sorry for rushing the kitchen staff, but thank you for your service. We ordered many items with the R mark, and although some tomato sauce dishes were a bit repetitive, the meatball pasta from the "Wan Wan Story" was fun and delicious. The recommended octopus dish, a favorite of Roland-san, was also delicious! When I mentioned to the young employee that I would like to try a host club with Roland-san's customer service, but it seems expensive and difficult for me, he reassured me that it's not a problem for an hour, and Roland-san is friendly even to children, so I should definitely bring my family next time. The meatballs were incredibly tender and flavorful. The pasta noodles were very thick. The cheese was evenly spread and melted so well that every bite of pasta was deliciously cheesy. I had assumed that with a name like Roland, it might be expensive, but it was around 1200 yen. The background music had a Disney theme, making you feel like you were in Disneyland. The customer ratio seemed to be 20% male and 80% female. As they also serve dinner, I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the delicious meal.

I made a reservation for Sunday at 12 o'clock. It's recommended to make a reservation if you want to go for sure, as people started coming in after lunchtime. I ordered the lunch set, which includes appetizers, main dish, dessert, and a drink, and it was a good deal. Starting with the appetizers, the vegetables were nothing special. The lettuce was surprisingly crisp and fresh. The smoked duck was just right and tender, very delicious. And I had my first experience with Hachis Parmentier, which is apparently a dish where meat sauce is layered with mashed potatoes and cheese and then baked. This was incredibly delicious. By the way, this is apparently a national dish in France, but the restaurant is Italian. One of their signature dishes is the meatball spaghetti, which you can choose between thick noodles or fresh pasta. I chose the thick noodles, which were unusual. It seems to be a shop that was the motif of Disney's "101 Dalmatians". Inside the shop, Disney songs were playing and the interior had a fairytale-like feel, giving off a theme park vibe. The assorted appetizers were all delicious, and I ordered the sea urchin cream pasta for my main dish. It was very tasty but also very filling!
