☆Recommended Points☆ ① A finely crafted and beautifully presented omelette ② A satisfying omelette rice dish that offers great quality and quantity for the price of 1,000 yen 【Recommended Usage Scenes】 Solo dining, date, dining with friends or acquaintances 【Menu】 "Omelette Rice (1,000 yen)" *Comes with soup. You can choose between ketchup and demi-glace sauce. This time, I chose the demi-glace sauce, which I didn't order at "Western Food Takeru" before. The omelette rice that arrived was as beautifully crafted as the one at "Western Food Takeru," with a slightly well-done outer layer and a slightly runny inside. The rice was slightly firm and buttery, with a hint of sweetness and a pilaf-like texture. The dish included chicken, green peppers, and mushrooms, offering a satisfying amount of ingredients for the price. The demi-glace sauce was thick and slightly sweet, complementing the rich flavor of the omelette. Overall, the high quality, satisfying portion size, and the included soup made this dish a great value for 1,000 yen. 【Summary】 Located near Nezu Station, Bistro Dublin is a Western bistro that opened in October 2022. Previously, it operated as "Western Food Takeru" in the same location with a similar interior. I was impressed by the beauty of the omelette rice during my visit to "Western Food Takeru," so I decided to revisit after the reopening. The lunch menu still offers omelette rice and hamburg steak, maintaining the same level of beauty and quality. The dinner menu features a variety of Western-style appetizers that pair well with wine. I made a reservation for 12:00 on a Sunday, and the restaurant was fully booked. It remained busy until around 1:00, indicating its popularity. Consider Bistro Dublin as a lunch option when exploring the popular Yanaka-Senju area.

Root. It's hot (;´Д`) Wiping off the sweat, I walk towards this place. Han-tei, looks nice. It has a good atmosphere. A family of four enters the Western-style restaurant one after another, and I almost got lured in, but no, dangerous, dangerous. Oh, this way. A casual exterior. Make sure not to make a mistake. Visited the restaurant at 11:30. Informed the staff that I was dining alone and was coolly directed to the counter seat, where I sat near the entrance and looked at the menu. They only serve lunch on weekends, with omurice or hamburger for 1000 yen, and you can choose between ketchup and demi-glace sauce for the omurice. They also offer two types of desserts, drinks, and alcoholic beverages. Ordered the "Omurice with Demi-Glace Sauce (1000 yen)" and looked around the restaurant. The interior that left me speechless had a calm atmosphere, suitable for a date. The Beatles-like music was playing softly in the background. The ambiance is nice, but I can't quite put my finger on it, but something feels unsettling. Completed in 6 minutes. Oh, splendid. This place used to be a restaurant called Takel, where I had a bad experience with omurice, but it closed down... I thought I would never meet it againヽ(;▽;)ノ The demi-glace sauce spreads from the center to the front of the rolled omurice, with a salad and spaghetti on the side. Comes with a cup of soup. Well then. Oh, delicious. A smile unintentionally appeared on my face. The egg, although rolled, has a substantial thickness, with a hint of butter fragrance, not too heavy. The rice is slightly crispy, with a mild acidity, also with a hint of butter fragrance like the egg. The ingredients include chicken, onions, and bell peppers finely chopped. Although not very impactful, the chewiness of the chicken and the crunchiness of the onions are enjoyable. The demi-glace sauce is rich and slightly bitter, with a light acidity. The salad, with a balsamic vinegar-like acidity, is the most acidic. Oh! The spaghetti is also delicious! It has a blue cheese-like flavor, and I want more of it \(//∇//)\ The soup is probably soup stock? Light and flavorful. Finished in no time. The portion size is normal, slightly on the smaller side maybe? But I wasn't sure because I was hungover (*´-`) It was simple, but that's where the difference in skill stands out in this type of omurice. Yes, it was delicious. Especially, the texture of the egg was fantastic. Overall, with mild acidity and light seasoning, it was not flat. Each ingredient's flavor was enjoyable, and the delicate nuances prevented it from being bland. The demi-glace sauce, while not overpowering, was deliciously meaty, and the spaghetti had an interesting contrast with its richness. The acidity of the salad dressing seemed to balance out the flavors of the omurice and spaghetti. I always thought that the key to omurice was controlling the acidity, but here, they started by reducing the acidity and created depth through the other flavors' nuances. It was a high level of completion, I thought. The service was like a cat, for better or for worse. Well, to be continued.

★3.5 [FILE 4108] On June 10, 2023 (Saturday) at 12:03, I visited a bistro located on the first floor of a building behind the main street of Nezu, which opened as a Western-style restaurant called Takeru 5 years and 8 months ago in July 2017 and was renovated 2 months ago in April 2023. The interior of the restaurant has a calm atmosphere with a mix of brick, white, and dark brown colors. Inside, there are a total of 11 seats, including a counter with 5 seats on the left side, 2 table seats at the back, and 4 table seats. When I visited, there was only one customer. Later, two groups of four people entered, and it became relatively busy. The customers were evenly split between males and females. The service was handled smoothly by a female staff member. The menu includes Omelette Rice with Demi-Glace Sauce for 1000 yen, Omelette Rice with Ketchup for 1000 yen, Hamburger Steak in Japanese style for 1000 yen, and Hamburger Steak with Demi-Glace Sauce for 1000 yen. All items come with soup. I ordered the Omelette Rice with Demi-Glace Sauce for 1000 yen. The meal included vegetable soup and Omelette Rice with Demi-Glace Sauce. Four minutes after ordering, the Omelette Rice and soup were served. The vegetable soup had finely chopped vegetables at the bottom and was delicious. The main dish, Omelette Rice with Demi-Glace Sauce, was presented on a round plate with a design, accompanied by Napolitan pasta and salad. The Omelette Rice was smooth and fluffy, with a thick texture, and tasted delicious when topped with Demi-Glace Sauce. The Napolitan pasta had a good chewiness. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm with a mix of brick, white, and dark brown colors. Various cashless payment options were available for the bill. The menu still had the Takeru name displayed. The Omelette Rice with Demi-Glace Sauce for 1000 yen is served as a set with soup, and the Omelette Rice is smooth and fluffy with a thick texture, and tastes delicious.

I visited for lunch on Saturday. Both the omurice and hamburger were 1000 yen each. You could choose between ketchup or demi-glace sauce for the omurice, and I chose the classic ketchup. For the hamburger, you could choose between demi-glace sauce or Japanese-style sauce, and I chose the demi-glace sauce. Both dishes were delicious and homemade. The omurice seems to be popular, but the hamburger was also tender and not greasy. I would like to visit this restaurant for dinner as well.

Three minutes walk from Nezu Station on the Chiyoda Line, there used to be a Western-style restaurant called "Takeru" known for its delicious omurice and hamburg steak. The restaurant eventually welcomed a chef from Azabu Shokudo and further elevated its menu. At one point, it became a popular spot for omurice lovers... but before you knew it, it closed down. The chef from Azabu Shokudo also left the restaurant prematurely it seems. However, this April, the restaurant changed its name from "Takeru" to "Bistro Dublin" and made a comeback! Currently, they only offer lunch on weekends, but the days of enjoying omurice and hamburg steak have returned. - Omurice (with soup, 1000 yen) The presentation is still beautiful, and the fluffy texture of the omelette is excellent. The balance of the ketchup rice is also good, and the overall combination is excellent. Although the size seems to have slightly decreased compared to before, the price remains almost the same since its establishment, which is surprising considering the recent egg prices. - Kabocha pudding The super bitter pudding from the early days was a masterpiece, but this one appeared on the menu during the later period of Takeru. The soft texture and fine skin show meticulous work. The level of sweetness is personally the best! I'm not sure what led to these changes, but at the moment, it feels like the Takeru era is back. Regardless of the circumstances, I am grateful for being able to reunite with delicious omurice. Thank you for the meal.

Visit on Sunday at 14:00. No waiting time. 2 groups of customers present. A hidden gem area as it is a bit far from Ueno Station and Uguisudani Station. Walk through Ueno Park from Ueno Station and arrive in about 15 minutes. The area around Ueno Station was crowded and tiring, but this area is refreshing and comfortable. What I ate: - Omelette rice (with demi-glace sauce) 1000 yen - Pumpkin pudding set 600 yen - Hot coffee Beautiful omelette rice! The egg, which wraps around the ketchup rice firmly, is smooth like a baby's bottom! The taste is simple, with a slight sweetness in the egg, very delicious! The seasoning of the egg and rice is not too strong, and it doesn't interfere with the demi-glace sauce, which is good! Fluffy pumpkin pudding is delicious! The intensity of the pumpkin flavor is moderate (probably not in season), but I really like the texture and taste! [Foodie route of the day] Ueno Station ↓ Bistro Dublin ↓ Marguerite ↓ Kaya Coffee ↓ Asatte's Gelato ↓ Also
