Coffee specialty store Sanjukken is located near Ginza Mitsukoshi and Matsuya Ginza. When you order a drink and a dessert together, you get a 200 yen discount. The coffee comes with a cute leaflet introducing the characteristics of the beans before roasting. It is served in a pot with enough for about 2 cups, making it a good deal. The coffee has a sweet aroma and deep flavor with a perfect balance of bitterness and acidity, making it a delightful experience. The chiffon cake is light and fluffy, served with plenty of whipped cream and vanilla ice cream drizzled with black honey. The ice cream balances out the sweetness of the cream. The interior of the store has a warm, woody decor with soft lighting, creating a cozy atmosphere perfect for this season.

After lunch, I wanted to have some coffee so I went to Sanjukken. I ordered today's coffee. It was nice to be able to drink it slowly and relax. I wanted to try other types as well, but I'll leave that for next time. I highly recommend this place for coffee lovers.

A hidden shop located in a back alley in Ginza, quietly operating in the basement! They offer a wide variety of coffee beans and you can have about 3 cups as it comes in a pot! They also have a dessert set ☺️ The chiffon cake is fluffy and the whipped cream is not too sweet. The sweetness of the ice cream complements the mild sweetness of the cream perfectly. If you want to relax in Ginza, this is definitely a great place to visit.

I visited the restaurant on Sunday after 12 o'clock. It was busy for lunchtime, but I was able to find a seat as long as there were available seats. I ordered today's coffee (Colombian) and the Zabaglione tart. The coffee came in a small pot, equivalent to two cups. The coffee had a slightly dark roast with a hint of acidity. The Zabaglione tart had a firm chocolate surface, not too sweet like the authentic ones, and the apricot jam was subtle. It came with whipped cream, which was nice. The total bill was 1,690 yen. The restaurant has a spacious and dimly lit interior, perfect for relaxing at the large tables.

I visited the store at night. It was moderately crowded, but because it's located in Ginza, there weren't loud voices and I was able to spend a quiet and pleasant time. I ordered today's cold brew coffee and a chocolate gâteau. The coffee came with an explanation about the beans, which was very cute. I felt like I wanted to come back and try all the different types. The taste was excellent, the milk was frothy, and they used brown sugar instead of regular sugar, which showed their attention to detail.

Coffee Jelly ¥900
When I found myself with some time to spare in Ginza, I cautiously descended the stairs and discovered a spacious and relaxing space that was beyond my imagination. As a coffee specialty shop, the coffee jelly was rich and satisfying, and the brown sugar syrup had a pleasant sweetness without being overpowering. The coffee seemed to be served in a pot that was enough for two cups, so I didn't order it this time due to time constraints. However, I felt that I could relax here without any hesitation compared to other commercial facilities nearby, so I definitely want to order it next time.

First visit (it feels like). A coffee specialty shop located behind Matsuya in Ginza. The prices are a bit high, but you can enjoy delicious coffee in a calm atmosphere. I went for lunch on the weekend. There were empty seats inside so I could easily enter. There seem to be only 4-person tables here, but even as a solo customer, they let me sit alone at a 4-person table without making me share. This was quite nice. Since it was a hot day, I passed on the hot coffee and ordered today's cold brew iced coffee (960 yen). Along with the coffee, a small leaflet was served. When opened, there was an explanation of a single coffee bean and its place of origin. This is a pretty easy-to-understand and good method. The iced coffee had a rich flavor without any bitterness, very delicious. Unlike the iced coffee at places like Doutor, which you drink quickly, this is the type of iced coffee you sip slowly. I enjoyed drinking it slowly and cooling off. The prices are a bit high, but it's Ginza so it's unavoidable. It's not as crowded as cafes in commercial facilities and you can enjoy delicious coffee in a relaxed space, so it's a good place to remember when you want to take a break in Ginza.

I arrived around 2 pm on Saturday and was seated immediately with no wait. I had coffee and cake for about 1,500 yen per person, so it's a perfect place to relax and take your time. The Sachertorte I had after a long time was delicious and made me happy!

The interior of the restaurant is dimly lit and stylish. The coffee has a refreshing bitterness, without any harshness or acidity. It's delicious. Even the paper with the description of the beans came with the coffee. I ordered milk too, but ended up drinking it as is because it was so good.

【Situation】After having lunch with a friend in Ginza, we decided to find a cafe where we could relax and chat. We ended up choosing this place.
【Ordered】Iced coffee (Brazil) - around 900 yen
【Impression】We arrived around 13:30 and there was only one group waiting, so we were seated quickly. Compared to other cafes in Ginza with long lines, this place felt like a hidden gem. The atmosphere inside was quite dim and calm, making it a great recommendation for couples on a date. The coffee here is very particular, with each menu item detailing characteristics like acidity and bitterness, which made choosing enjoyable. When you order coffee, you receive a small pamphlet with detailed explanations and a single coffee bean. It's a place that coffee enthusiasts would enjoy. However, as someone who isn't a coffee connoisseur, I didn't notice significant differences in taste or find it exceptionally delicious. The prices are on the higher side, typical for Ginza, so the cost performance is average. But the ambiance is perfect for sitting and chatting (we ended up staying quite a while), making it a handy spot for when you need that kind of environment. It's worth remembering. I wish there were more dessert options on the menu. Thank you for the meal!

To relax and recover from the tiredness of walking around Ginza, I took a break at this cafe today. It's been a while since I visited a cafe. When walking around Ginza, I often see cafes and coffee shops as places to take a break when tired, and this place was one that caught my eye many times. Finally, I made it here. The cafe is located downstairs, and the warm atmosphere with warm-colored lighting is very soothing. This cafe is a direct store of Yanaka Coffee, and they also sell coffee beans. This time, I selected: - Today's Coffee: Favela Castillo/Colombia - Cheesecake The coffee was brought in a coffee pot, and it seemed like there were two cups worth in it! It was very convenient to be able to drink it while it was still warm. The cheesecake was a fluffy souffle type of cake, and the whipped cream served with it was not too sweet. It was delicious when eaten together.

Ginza Cafe. It is located about a 5-minute walk from Higashi-Ginza Station. It is written as "Sanjikken" and is pronounced as "sanjikken." It seems to be operated by Yanaka Coffee. I went around 15:30 on a weekday, and it was about 60-70% full. The cafe is located underground and the interior is quite dark, with a hideout-like atmosphere. I had the following: If you order a drink and dessert together, the dessert will be discounted by 200 yen. ✔︎ Today's cold brew iced coffee (960 yen) ✔︎ Coffee jelly (900 yen - 200 yen) It arrived in about 5 minutes. The cold brew iced coffee uses different beans depending on the day. Today's was Nicaragua's Velasquez SG. It has a refreshing taste. It was interesting that they showed the actual beans used in a card-like sample. The coffee jelly comes with plenty of vanilla ice cream and whipped cream (*゚▽゚*) I had heard mixed reviews about Yanaka Coffee, which has become a chain, so I never had the chance to visit, but I really like this place with its nice atmosphere (^^) Thank you for the meal!!

It was a holiday so I was prepared for it to be crowded, but when I went there was a line, yet I was able to enter within 20 minutes. The seats were not too close to the neighboring tables, so I could talk without worrying about it. The Sachertorte was delicious! They have a greater variety of coffee beans than other places, so it's my favorite cafe.

This is my second visit. One of the cafes where you can relax in Ginza. This time, I ordered iced coffee and Sachertorte. The prices are reasonable, but both the coffee and sweets were delicious. The shop is located underground, with a slightly dim and calm atmosphere, which is nice.

Ordered today's cold brew coffee and Sachertorte. The daily coffee selection is displayed in the store and also mentioned upon entry. It's nice to be able to try beans you wouldn't normally choose. It can get crowded on weekends with waiting times, but on weekdays you can enjoy a quiet and leisurely atmosphere.

A coffee shop located near the Oji Paper Building in Ginza 3-chome. It's underground, so it's not very noticeable, but it's a popular hidden gem known to those in the know. It seems to be affiliated with Yanaka Coffee Shop. The interior has a woody feel, with a moody, dimly lit atmosphere like a cozy hideaway cafe. It's impossible to make reservations on weekends, so be prepared to wait in line, but it's definitely worth a visit. What I ordered this time was:
- Coffee Jelly (900 yen)
- Today's Cold Brew Iced Coffee (960 yen)
The first coffee jelly was absolutely amazing, like being struck by lightning. It's coffee set into jelly, but the bitterness, sweetness, and flavor of the coffee come rushing in. It really brings out the best in the coffee, more so than just drinking regular coffee. It's truly a specialty shop, and the fact that they haven't compromised the good points of the coffee even in jelly form is wonderful. They suggested adding syrup, but it already comes with ice cream and other toppings, so I decided to enjoy it without the syrup. Since it's a coffee specialty shop, I also ordered the cold brew iced coffee, but I got so lost in the coffee jelly that I honestly couldn't taste it (laughs). Of course, the aroma is great and it tastes delicious, but next time, I'll order just the coffee to really taste it. Looking at reviews on Tabelog, most people seem to order chiffon cake as a side with their coffee, but going with the coffee jelly was definitely the right choice! I also want to try the chiffon cake and fully appreciate the taste of the coffee, so I will definitely revisit this place.

You may not notice this hidden gem as you descend underground, but the spacious interior of Edelweiss makes it a cozy and comfortable café. I ordered the Kilimanjaro coffee, which was rich and bold with a refined bitterness. The milk was frothed nicely, adding a touch of sophistication to the experience. Overall, it was a relaxing place with a pleasant atmosphere.

The interior of the store is dimly lit and very cold due to the strong air conditioning, so you can't stay for long or you might catch a cold. It's not suitable for people looking to work or relax over a cup of tea. The hot tea and coffee quickly turn into iced versions. The cheesecake is a souffle cheesecake, so you end up eating it quickly and, although I usually eat small portions, I didn't feel satisfied as the amount was not enough to fill me up. Sundays are very crowded, but because the store is cold, the turnover rate is high. We had to wait for 20 minutes, but the maximum time we could stay was 1 hour.

After having dinner, I came to have a coffee as a palate cleanser. I ordered the recommended coffee of the day. Along with the coffee I ordered, I received a small card with information about the beans. I'm not very knowledgeable about coffee, so it was very educational. It was delicious, and the cozy lighting made the atmosphere very comfortable.

I entered the store a little after 12 o'clock and used it to have tea. I had iced coffee and chiffon cake. It was very delicious and I wanted to go back soon. The atmosphere of the shop is nice, with dim lighting and a calm atmosphere. It's a good coffee shop, so even though it's a bit pricey, it's worth it.
