On 2020/04/18 (Saturday) for dinner, I felt like having ramen nearby, so I decided to stop by this place. I used to come here occasionally before, but I think this is my first time since I started reviewing on Tabelog. The restaurant has been around for a long time in Oimachi, as I've been told. I arrived around 5 pm, and I was the only customer. By the time I finished eating, another person came in, so there were only two customers in total. It's the current situation, after all. I ordered the standard pork and chicken ramen with a seasoned egg topping. There's no ticket machine, so you tell the staff your order and pay on the spot. I remember before you could choose the type of noodles, but it seems they don't offer that anymore. As long as they serve a combination they're confident in, I think that's fine. Also, I heard that a small serving of rice was included as a service, but when I looked around the restaurant, there was a notice saying that either a small serving of rice or an extra noodle refill was complimentary. In other words, whether you choose rice or an extra noodle refill, you need to call the staff. Today, it's been raining heavily all day, so I haven't been moving around much, so I was thinking of giving up on the service, but maybe it's okay to indulge a little, no, I should resist, no, I should resist, and while I was having this internal struggle, the ramen arrived. The noodles and soup were plentiful, and it was quite filling. In that case, I'll pass on the service. I'd gladly accept it if it came automatically. (What are you doing, haha) When I tried it, the soup had a good balance of chicken and pork flavors, and it wasn't too porky, making it easy to eat. With spinach on top and a soy sauce base, it may look like a house-style ramen, but since it's made with chicken broth and leans towards a lighter taste, it feels like something different. Adding some spicy pickled mustard greens and grated garlic from the table enhances the spiciness and aroma, making it even better. The umami of the chicken in the soup is really delicious. The noodles are thin and straight, with a smooth texture that suggests they may have added more water, which I like. They serve 200 grams, so it's quite satisfying. The chashu was standard, and the bamboo shoots were tender at the tips. The seasoned egg was perfectly cooked, with the yolk and the surrounding white being almost runny. It has an old-fashioned ramen shop feel, but it's still very delicious and good ramen, in my opinion.
