~Sapporo Report: Only 1% or less of domestic lamb meat is distributed~. When it comes to Sapporo gourmet, you can't miss out on "Genghis Khan"! There are so many popular restaurants that it's hard to choose one! This time, we visited "Sapporo Genghis Khan Shirokuma," where you can make reservations through our website! We passed by the super popular restaurant "Daruma" on the way, and the line outside was crazy long! Popular restaurants in Sapporo are just like in Tokyo! The restaurant is located on the first floor of a building called Joyful Sapporo, with clear signage outside making it easy to find! The interior had only counter seats, with two entrances and staff moving back and forth through the central wall. The air conditioning was blasting so much that you could see the cold air, which made it a bit hot for grilling Genghis Khan, but don't worry! The superb Genghis Khan and alcohol will blow away the heat! This time, we ordered the following: 'Rusutsu Village Fresh Mutton x2,' 'Australian Lamb x2,' 'Brown Mushrooms from Obihiro City,' 'Lamb Meatballs,' '100% Hokkaido Lamb Sausage,' 'Small Rice,' 'Sapporo Classic Draft Beer,' 'Fresh Lemon Sour.' We also received 'Onion and Green Pepper' as a complimentary appetizer! The meat was arranged in a circle in the pot, and it was incredibly sweet and delicious! The staff kindly taught us how to grill the meat, which was very helpful! So, let's cheers! 'Rusutsu Village Fresh Mutton' Domestic Genghis Khan lamb meat accounts for just 1% of the total, making it a very precious culinary experience! Plus, they buy the meat directly from the ranch, with no frozen cuts, ensuring freshness! "Delicious!!" This fresh mutton has no smell or gamey taste, and the umami spreads in your mouth, making it amazing! The meat is incredibly tender! This changes the concept of mutton! It's undeniably delicious! The beer and rice are going down smoothly! The Australian lamb is chilled and flown in, ensuring excellent freshness! The fatty parts are sweet, and the umami spreads as you chew, making it amazing! The rice is also excellent! Plus, they use plump brown mushrooms from Hokuto City, making it even more delicious! We ordered more of these two meats! The table salt on top is a perfect match! The special sauce is also delicious with the rice! The onions and green peppers soaked in meat juices are also incredibly delicious! We also ordered additional brown mushrooms, which were sweet and delicious! The staff suggested, "Put the garlic on the grill and it will be like garlic shrimp, perfect with alcohol." The Genghis Khan dish was very delicious. The meat was tender and tasted great with salt. The oil was also tasty, and the meat was so tender that it didn't seem like lamb at all. However, the restaurant was small and smoky, and there was nowhere to put your belongings. It may not be suitable for a date. The meat was delicious even in such a small space, similar to a ramen shop. Perhaps the vegetables are tastier in other places like Sheep Sunrise.

Hokkaido lamb from Shibetsu City (110g) ¥2,900 - 7 months old Suffolk breed lamb from Yagi to Kumo no Oka Ranch. Australian castrated lamb shoulder loin (110g) ¥1,350. Sapporo Classic draft beer ¥650. Ginger ale, oolong tea each ¥350. Appetizers (onion, green pepper) ¥330. Bean sprouts ¥230. Finally tried Genghis Khan, and as expected, Hokkaido lamb is delicious! The lamb from Shibetsu City is a beautiful peach-colored meat with zero odor and tender. The price is definitely more than double that of Australian lamb, but you will regret not trying it. The Australian lamb has a meatier texture and flavor compared to the lamb from Shibetsu City. However, it is still very tender with a strong meaty flavor and no odor. The vegetables were all delicious, and the staff made sure they weren't burnt. The restaurant has good turnover. We made a reservation, but it seemed like they could accommodate walk-ins with a short wait.

I made a reservation before entering the restaurant because it was my first time trying Genghis Khan. I have eaten lamb before, but I have always disliked the smell. I honestly didn't have high expectations for Genghis Khan. However, the Hokkaido lamb at this restaurant was tender, flavorful, and completely free of any unpleasant smell. It was a completely different experience from any lamb I had tried before! I even ended up ordering an extra serving because it was so delicious. The vegetables we cooked together were also from Hokkaido, and the onions, in particular, were sweet and tasty. The staff taught us how to cook the meat properly, so even beginners can feel at ease. The price of the meat may be higher compared to other places, but I believe you can truly enjoy delicious lamb here! If I have the chance to visit Hokkaido again, I will definitely come back to this Genghis Khan restaurant.

When you come to Sapporo, you have to try Genghis Khan! So I stumbled upon a place while exploring. I heard the name of the restaurant before, so I decided to check it out. It's a counter-style restaurant. I visited before 11:00 PM on a weekday and was able to get in without waiting. They have lamb from Hokkaido and New Zealand, so I ordered Hokkaido lamb and New Zealand lamb. I didn't realize there were different types like this before. Oh man, this Genghis Khan is delicious. I used to think lamb had a strong flavor and preferred raw lamb, but I didn't understand Genghis Khan. You can eat unlimited amounts of lamb here! I ended up ordering Hokkaido lamb for both the lamb and the mutton twice. I was also interested in the lamb curry, but I had another restaurant to try next, so I had to pass on it. I want to revisit this place when I come to Susukino next time. I wonder if they have a restaurant in Tokyo too. I have to go there!

I visited for the first time on a trip. I was looking forward to it because there aren't many types of lamb in Kanto, either frozen or fresh. There were lambs up to one year old, 1-2 years old, and over 2 years old, as well as hogget and mutton, each with a rich variety of origins. Even the same type tasted completely different depending on the origin! I thought mutton might have a strong taste, but it was not at all! On the contrary, the flavor was deep, and I could eat as many slices as I wanted even though I wasn't very hungry. It has a good texture, chewy but easy to bite through. I was so impressed by the meat that can only be eaten in Hokkaido, which accounts for less than 1% of domestic distribution. Lemon sour goes well with it. The shredded and grilled potatoes and vegetables were also very delicious! It was crowded, so it's better to make a reservation! Thank you for the meal!

A few days ago, I made a reservation online and visited the restaurant at 6:00 PM. I ordered Hokkaido-raised Hogget (a cross between mutton and lamb) and Australian-raised lamb. The appetizer of bell peppers and onions looked impressive and tasted delicious, which was a pleasant surprise. The Hogget, which was grilled for tasting, melted in my mouth when seasoned with salt. It is recommended to lightly grill Hokkaido-raised meat and enjoy it slightly rare. Both Hokkaido-raised and Australian-raised lamb had almost no gamey taste. The tenderness and sweetness of Hokkaido-raised lamb were exceptional, and I was impressed as I had never seen such high-quality lamb even in New Zealand. Although the price of the meat is not cheap, I felt that enjoying high-quality Genghis Khan with a draft Sapporo Classic beer and a Yochi apple shochu highball for just under 9,000 yen was a worthwhile choice.

One word... very delicious! Very kind! Very satisfied! I want to come back again! On the day, I tried to make a phone reservation but couldn't get through, so I visited 10 minutes before the 6:00 opening time as a last resort. Thankfully, I was informed that it was okay until 18:45 and was able to enter the restaurant. Since I was short on time, I ordered Hokkaido lamb, rare cuts, Australian lamb, sausages, tsukune, and bean sprouts all at once. I thought I should eat quickly... but before I knew it, I was taking photos. At first, they explained while cooking to show the doneness. It was my first time having Genghis Khan, but it was so delicious that it became addictive. It was light, but the fatty parts had a sweetness and were delicious. I felt the outstanding sweetness and deliciousness when eating with salt. I have eaten liver from various animals such as beef, horse, pork, and chicken, but it was still delicious. I once again thought that the restaurant's commitment to sourcing and freshness must be excellent. Thank you for the meal.

The shop offers Hokkaido lamb with a circulation rate of less than 1%, with no gamey taste at all! The meat has a sweet flavor in the fat. They cut the meat after receiving the order, so you can only order for a small number of people at a time. The shop only has a counter and is always full. The staff constantly check the pot and occasionally interact with customers. The prices are high, but I recommend visiting at least once.

The staff was very kind, and the whole atmosphere of the restaurant was warm. When I tried the lamb with salt, the sweetness of the meat really stood out. Adding garlic halfway through brought out a surprising depth of flavor. The vegetables soaked in the meat juices were also very sweet, made with produce from Hokkaido. I would love to go back again.

It was interesting to be able to compare and taste both Hokkaido and Australian products. When trying different products from Hokkaido, I was able to discover the depth of flavor in lamb. The staff were friendly and easy to talk to, making it a place I would definitely want to visit again.

I had made a reservation in advance for Shirokuma-san. The small restaurant was filled with smoke. The inside was a bit warm as the air conditioning wasn't working well. This was my second time having Genghis Khan on this trip. I tried both Hokkaido and Austrian lamb. Both were very tender. The Hokkaido lamb is recommended rare, and it was even softer that way. My husband, who didn't enjoy the first place we tried, found this Genghis Khan delicious. We had planned to visit multiple places, so we ordered everything at once and paid quickly. The staff were lovely, saying, "Please enjoy more delicious food from Hokkaido." It was a pleasant experience. Thank you very much. It was great.

We visited the restaurant on the first night of our trip to Hokkaido, with a reservation for two at 6:30 pm. We started by ordering Sapporo Classic beer, which had a refreshing and delicious taste. We ordered White Hogget from Shiranuka-cho, Australian lamb, lamb, chanja, and sausages. Since it was our first time, the staff cooked the meat for us. The lamb had a rich flavor, while the lamb was quite light. Personally, I found the hogget to be very delicious, and the Australian lamb was a rare treat as it is not often available. The rice went well with the salt and sauce, and we ended up having two helpings. The restaurant was full and you need a reservation to get in quickly, but the turnover rate is good so we were satisfied in just over an hour. If you're willing to wait a little, you should be able to get a table. Thank you for the meal.

The only place where you can eat Hokkaido-produced raw lamb featured in the Michelin guide. Eating raw lamb in your own personal Genghis Khan pot at the stylish counter is the best. I've been a regular since living in Hokkaido, so I'm glad I was able to make a reservation.

Raw Hogget is a must-try. For dinner during the Sapporo expedition, make a reservation at Shirokuma-sama. Raw Hogget for 2900 yen, Raw Mutton for 2900 yen, and a rare cut for 1800 yen, all from Hokkaido. While other options are delicious, the Hogget is worth going back for. It was tender and without any gamey taste. The Raw Mutton may be from Australia, but it was just as good. We also ordered lamb meatballs, sausages, and thinly sliced potatoes. Paired with Sapporo Classic, it was a fantastic night.

I sat at the counter and ordered one serving of domestic lamb each. It was really delicious, with no gamey taste and a light flavor. It completely changed my perception of Genghis Khan. Eating the Hokkaido onions and green peppers with the meat was so tasty, leaving a light and delicious taste in my mouth. Next, I ordered one serving each of Australian lamb and mutton. They had a slightly gamey taste compared to the domestic ones, but it was still delicious and gave a different experience. However, when you come here, I highly recommend trying the domestic Genghis Khan. It was truly delicious and changed my perception of Genghis Khan. It makes you unable to eat Genghis Khan anywhere else outside of Hokkaido.

Hokkaido selected lamb meat, Shiroku produced raw Hogget, serving for one person, 2900 yen. Otofuke produced raw Hogget, serving for one person, 2800 yen. The meat has no strong taste, the fat is not smelly or overwhelming! It's so delicious that the price might be a bit high, but worth it. The vegetables are fresh too. I cooked the mushrooms in the meat fat with garlic and salt, like a garlic shrimp dish. The crispy fried shredded potatoes were also amazingly delicious.

The restaurant has only counter seats and offers 4 types of meat, including Hokkaido and Australian varieties. The meat is delicious when eaten with wasabi and salt. Sometimes a chunk of fat like pork loin comes with the meat. The sliced sausages are tasty. I might skip the pork hormones next time. The drink I had was haskap, and I finished my meal with lamb curry. The portion size was small, but I couldn't finish the rice. The cost was around 5,000 yen per person.

After a long time, I went on a trip to Sapporo. I wanted to eat Genghis Khan (grilled lamb) and my friend found and took me to Shirokuma-san. We started with domestic lamb, which was refreshing with a good aftertaste. The vegetables arranged around it were fresh, sweet, and delicious. A must-visit restaurant that I would like to go to again. Luckily, we didn't have to wait in line for too long to get in.
