TACKNMON
Adam and Eve's story is recorded in the Old Testament book of Genesis. God created the heavens and the earth over six days, resting on the seventh day. After that, God created the first man, Adam, from the dust of the ground, and then created the first woman, Eve, from Adam's rib. God placed Adam and Eve in the paradise He had created on earth, warning them not to eat the fruit from the "tree of life" and the "tree of knowledge" in the center of the garden. However, tempted by the serpent, Eve ate the forbidden fruit from the tree of knowledge, and Adam followed suit. It seems like God knew from the beginning that they would eat the fruit... Anyway! Today's review is about "Forbidden Fruit" located about a 13-minute walk from Naka-Meguro Station. It opened on February 13, 2023, offering delightful fruit sandwiches and hot sandwiches. I visited on a weekend afternoon. The location is a bit far from the station, near the Meguro Police Station. The place seems to open from 8 am, so it might be good for breakfast too! Pets are allowed, and takeout is also available. The restaurant is slightly far from the station, but it's easy to find if you take a walk along the Meguro River. I usually have lunch elsewhere and then take a walk to burn calories. The shop is located on the first floor of an apartment building. Let's try the forbidden fruit today! The interior is cozy, with a design featuring wood, concrete, and low tables. The background music is calming R&B. The staff is very friendly and easy to talk to. They even shared useful information about other shops and brands. The restroom smells really good and is clean and comfortable. Today, I tried the Lemon Beer, which was refreshing and easy to drink, and the Forbidden Fruit (fruit sandwich) with a crispy apple texture, nuts, and cinnamon-flavored cream. It was delicious! They also offer a Mix fruit sandwich with strawberries, oranges, and bananas, which was juicy and sweet. If you want a pure fruit sandwich experience, I recommend this one! The atmosphere of the hidden gem-like shop is perfect, and I'm curious about their hot sandwiches and latte art. I'll try them next time. That's it for today's review of Forbidden Fruit. Thank you for the delicious meal. This is Takumon signing off. Cheers!
