After enjoying Monjayaki in Tsukishima, we took a stroll around the area from Ginza to Nihonbashi, where antenna shops from all over Japan, from Hokkaido to Okinawa, are gathered. Walking around the antenna shops in the scorching sun... After that, we visited the Bank of Japan Head Office and Chidorigafuchi Main Store. I wanted to visit the Imperial Palace as well, but I was already at my limit. So, we quickly headed to Chidorigafuchi Main Store to cool down. Located on the first floor of Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower in Tokyo Nihonbashi, Chidorigafuchi Main Store is a high-end fruit specialty store that has been in business since 1834 in the late Edo period. I'll spare you the details and head straight into the store to escape the scorching heat outside. The first floor of Chidorigafuchi Main Store is the main store that sells only high-end fruits, Cafe di FESTA, and the second floor is the fruit parlor. The recommended seasonal limited parfait is the "Miyazaki Prefecture ripe mango parfait" and "peach parfait". The menu includes fruit desserts such as parfaits, Western dishes such as curry and omelet rice, sandwiches, and drinks using seasonal fruits. The interior of the store has a bright and clean atmosphere with a view of the Nihonbashi townscape from the window-side table seats. We enjoyed a fruit sandwich and peach parfait at the store. The fruit sandwich was soft and fluffy with a balanced sweetness and refreshing taste. The peach parfait was overflowing with juicy and delicious flavors. The store also offers a variety of drinks. The experience was delightful, and the atmosphere was relaxing.

I am so happy! For jam lovers, this jam is like jam from heaven! It's packed with chunks of fruit, making it hard to tell if you're eating jam or fruit. I sometimes find myself just eating the jam with a spoon. When I first saw the price, I was surprised, but after trying it, I totally understand. I would love to visit a fruit parlor someday, but it's not easy to find one. The name "parlor" itself is so charming.

The mysterious shortcake soaked in milk is delicious, but still puzzling. It brings back a sense of nostalgia, like something I may have done as a child but was stopped by my parents. Perhaps it's the long-standing history of Senbikiya that evokes this feeling. The parfait was delicious as well. However, the blunt and unchanged customer service remains a traditional aspect. Can't they improve it a bit more?

The parfait at Senhikoya, made with plenty of fruits, is delicious without a doubt. The most important thing in a parfait is the fruits, and since they come from a well-known fruit shop in Japan, it's a given. The fruits are very sweet, while the cream is not overly sweet, which is great because you don't want the cream to overpower the sweetness of the fruits. The price may be a bit high, but for a parfait of this quality, it's worth it as you can't find this level of parfait anywhere else.

I visited the main store of Sembikiya at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel building. This time, I tried the Melon Almond and Fruit Jelly (Grape, Blood Orange) for takeout. Sembikiya is well known as the number one fruit parlor in Japan, and the Melon Almond here is exquisite. It's really addictive. Thank you for the delicious meal.

We visited Chidorigafuchi Main Store once every two weeks. Today we had dinner there. Since the course requires a reservation by the day before, we ordered a la carte. We ordered omurice, shrimp gratin, fruit sandwich, Queen Strawberry Parfait, Chidorigafuchi Special Parfait, and fruit punch as the main dishes for the two of us. It costs around 6000-7000 yen per person. The taste and price are both very satisfying.

I wanted to eat delicious strawberries, so I visited Chihana Main Store. I purchased the limited edition "Queen Strawberry Tart (4 pieces: ¥5,616)", "Queen Strawberry Shortcake (¥994)", and "Strawberry Omelette (¥540)". The Queen Strawberry Tart had a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity with juicy red Queen strawberries and custard cream, which was delicious. The Strawberry Omelette had red strawberries, tasty cream, and fluffy sponge, all of which were also delicious. The Shortcake with Queen strawberries and cream was also very tasty. Overall, I enjoyed the high-quality Queen strawberries and delicious treats at Chihana Main Store.

Around 4:00 PM on January 9, 2023, I visited this place with a friend, feeling the urge to eat an strawberry parfait! Although I have been here a few times, it seems that there were no reviews posted... Located below the Mandarin Hotel, the use of space is very luxurious. We lined up at Cafe Doki, but even the waiting area is a fantastic open space. Without hesitation, I ordered the strawberry parfait. It had a lot of strawberries on top, and the sweetness was not overshadowed by the whipped cream. It was really delicious. I ate it in no time and felt a bit sad... I will visit again.

The "Senbikiya Main Store Nihonbashi Main Store" located in the Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower. Senbikiya has a long history, founded in 1834 (Tenpo 5), with a history of 188 years as a long-established high-end fruit specialty store. The founder, Oshima Benzou, started as a street vendor selling water sweets in Nihonbashi during the Edo period, and now it is known as the top high-end fruit specialty store in Japan in terms of quality and service, selling seasonal fruits and sweets. This time, I purchased a fruit assortment as a special celebratory gift for a friend. [Senbikiya Main Store Fruit Assortment] *Comments are included in the photo. ◆Fruit Assortment with Musk Melon ◎Fruits: Musk Melon, Tomi Persimmon, Minami Pear, Crystal Pomelo, Apple Fuji, Apple Meigetsu, Navel Orange, La France Pear, Mandarin Orange, Sanuki Gold (Kiwi), Kiwi Fruit ◉It can be difficult to judge the taste of fruits until you actually eat them. At "Nihonbashi Senbikiya Main Store," there are professional staff who are experts in selecting fruits, so you can confidently leave the gift selection to them. This time, I had a male staff member choose the fruits to give as a gift, and he explained them to me carefully. The recipient was very pleased with the gift.

We went to Meguro and bought cakes from Senbikiya with two people. We played board games and talked a lot. We tried the Japan Bridge store limited edition seasonal Mango Fromage Pot for 756 yen each. It had a rich and refreshing fromage mousse layered with mango jelly and crushed lemon jelly, topped with fresh mango. The combination of mango and pudding was really delicious. We also tried the Japan Bridge store limited edition Fruit Tropical Jelly for 702 yen each. It had tropical jelly layered with lemon jelly and topped with a variety of fruits. The combination of fruits and jelly was also very tasty.

Established in 1843 (during the 5th year of the Tenpo era), this fruit shop is now one of Japan's leading fruit stores. The name "Chihana" comes from the founder's hometown of Chihana-go in Musashi Province, Saitama. The Chihana stores in Kyobashi and Ginza are separate entities that branched off from the main store. Personally, I feel that they are the number one fruit store in Japan. This time, I tried their musk melon. The musk melon in a paulownia box costs 17,280 yen (tax included). While it is delicious, I question whether it is worth 70% more than a musk melon priced around 10,000 yen.

We went to Meguro with two people and bought a cake from Chihaya-ya for Father's Day. We played board games and had a lot of conversations. Father's Day Chocolat Berry Cafe 972 yen Coffee sponge cake, raspberry chocolate mousse, milk chocolate mousse, and coffee glaze, enjoy the three layers of flavors of the Father's Day limited cake. The combination of chocolate, coffee, and raspberry is excellent in the mousse. Limited edition product available from June 17th to June 19th. Mango Cream Pudding 648 yen A rich mango pudding decorated with mango and cream was very delicious.

Tekuri and I walked to Nihonbashi. We ended our lunch at Senbikiya. A popular menu item is the parfait or ice cream made with seasonal fruits. As a fruit parlor, it is natural to have such items, but my favorite is the "American Shortcake." Unlike a regular shortcake made with sponge cake, this one uses white bread. Two slices of 10-slice white bread sandwich vanilla ice cream, served on a plate with cold milk poured over it, topped with whipped cream and drizzled with strawberry puree. It's like a cake made with ice cream sandwiched between bread. When scooped up with a spoon along with the milk, the bread is soft and the ice cream melts smoothly. The whipped cream makes it feel velvety in your mouth. It doesn't require any special ingredients and is easy to make, with room for variations like adding caramel or peanut butter. We got hooked on it for a while and quickly gained weight. It became our occasional indulgence recipe, enjoyed a nostalgic treat after a long time.

I visited on April 3, 2022. This time, I purchased a set of 5 fruit cakes. This product offers great value for money and is delicious. My wife also loves this product. This time, due to a long business trip lasting three weeks, I bought this product as a souvenir for the office members. The reliable deliciousness never fails to impress and bring joy. The attentive customer service at this shop is also a delight. I hope to visit the cafe space on the second floor someday. That's what I've been thinking lately.

"Fruit sandwich" (1,242 yen), "Banana omelette" (465 yen), "Strawberry omelette" (519 yen). Recently, fruit sandwiches have been popular, but the ones from Senbikiya are the most delicious. The fruit sandwich is usually ready by 11:00 AM. Thank you for the meal.

The beautiful and delicious fruits are neatly arranged... I purchased my favorite fruit financiers this time. I also fell in love with a snow globe from the fancy shop on the premises ❤️ I bought it together. On a leisurely night, with a fruit financier rich in dried fruits, tea, and a snow globe... I was healed and had a good night's sleep. Thank you for the meal (๑>◡<๑)

In Tokyo's Nihonbashi, on the first floor of Nihonbashi Mitsui Tower, there is the main store of Chihana Chihana Nihonbashi Honten. Chihana's history dates back to the Edo period in 1834 when Oshima Benzou opened a store in Nihonbashi, transporting fruits and vegetables from Chihana Village (in Koshigaya City) by small boat to sell in Nihonbashi. Today, they are known as Japan's top luxury fruit specialty store, offering seasonal fruits and sweets. I purchased fruits from Chihana Honten as a gift for a friend. The fruit selection included musk melon, mango, early Fuji apple, Toki apple, Sanuki Gold kiwi, Fuyu persimmon, Navel orange, and La France pear. Chihana Honten's first floor sells gift products like fruits, and there is a main store and café, while the second floor has a fruit parlor and restaurant. When sending fruits, the professional staff at the store carefully select the best fruits and provide explanations, making it a reliable choice. The fruits are all top quality and therefore quite expensive, but if you want to send fruits to someone special, this store is the best option.

Established in 1834, this long-standing fruit specialty store offers premium peaches for 2500 yen each. These peaches are carefully selected for a sugar content of 14 or higher, and they are large, beautifully shaped, and exude a delightful peach aroma. The elite peaches were undeniably sweet and delicious. One of my must-buy items here is the kiwi. They have two varieties, and the Gold Kiwi has a higher sugar content and is sweeter. I wasn't a fan of kiwi before, but after trying the Gold Kiwi here, I have become a kiwi lover. The bananas have a refreshing taste, not overly sweet. In addition to fruits, they also offer cakes, juices, and jellies, which make great gifts. When it comes to shipping fruits from the store, delicate fruits that are prone to damage, like peaches and some grapes, are not available for delivery. There is also a fruit parlor on the second floor where you can enjoy tea or parfaits after shopping. I look forward to trying it next time. Thank you for the delicious experience.

The end of summer marks the beginning of autumn. The "Kaori Nashi" (3,240 yen) from Chiba Prefecture with a sugar content of 13 degrees and the "Jiro Persimmon" (2,160 yen) from Aichi Prefecture with a sugar content of 15 degrees are both in excellent condition. While there may be hits and misses with fruits, the products at the main store of Senbikiya are all high-quality. The carefully selected fruits displayed in the store provide a sense of reassurance for customers making a purchase.

Today, my wife had some business in Tsukiji, so I asked her to buy some sweets in Ginza. She brought back this fig honey roll. I don't know the price since my wife bought it. The fig was quite firm, not soft and mushy. It would be nice if it had both a soft and firm texture. Overall, the sweetness was also moderate. It was an adult dessert. Satisfied.

I received a dessert from Senbikiya! Just by looking at the bag and the box, I am surrounded by a sweet aroma. I love fruits in general ❤️ The banana omelette is amazing! I have never tasted anything like it before. The quality is top-notch, not something you can compare to a certain Y brand's bread. The bananas are excellent, the cream is the best, and the pancakes are incredibly fluffy. Should I choose the pudding? Or the jelly? A cup with two layers... which one should I pick? The almond with mango sauce, the sliced mango, and the jelly inside are so delicious. The chocolate one is like a thin, brown, jiggly... rich chestnut pudding with lots of chopped chestnuts. It's a taste I've never experienced before. It might sound strange, but it's like the deliciousness of melted ice cream (lol) ❤️ If I ever have the chance to visit Tokyo again, I definitely want to go to Senbikiya's parlor in Nihonbashi.
