This time, I bought Sugar Butter (6 packs of 6 pieces each) for 601 yen (tax included), which I find to be the most delicious. I have tried various flavors before, but this one stood out to me. The package stated that it is made by baking dough with plenty of butter, then showering it with clarified butter and sugar to create a butter-rich pretzel. It has a new sweetness that is very tasty. It is recommended to enjoy it during tea time or as a snack with wine. I was surprised to see that it contains 20% butter, but when I opened the bag, the aroma of butter was amazing. The texture is crispy, and the taste is full of buttery flavor. I bought some for myself and also as souvenirs. The individual packets were priced at 11 yen each.

This is a shop in the basement of Hankyu Department Store that sells a premium, high-end version of Glico's Pocky. You can only buy it at Hankyu and Itami Airport in Osaka. The "Sugar Butter" pretzel has a buttery aroma that spreads as soon as you take a bite, while the "Yubari Melon Cool" has a rich melon-flavored chocolate coating. It feels like a high-end version of the familiar snacks "Pretz" and "Pocky," but it turns out that this is a new brand from Ezaki Glico. They incorporate clarified butter into the dough, creating a new level of deliciousness with a deeper richness than regular pretzels. Currently, this rare high-end pretzel brand is only available at some famous department stores in western Japan. Despite its compact packaging, it would be a handy gift to bring along.

When I went to Hankyu, I saw new flavors and decided to buy Lemon Sugar, Strawberry Sugar, Maple & Cheese. I really like the Maple & Cheese flavor, so I bought only that when I went to Hankyu again. I wonder if they will continue to release new products in the future? Looking forward to it!

I went out a little far to meet an acquaintance and stopped by the Baton d'Or near the entrance of Hankyu to buy some high-end versions of Pocky and Pretz at the Glico shop there. Baton d'Or is a high-end version of Pocky and Pretz. This time, I bought an even more luxurious version. One was pistachio with white chocolate, and the other was berry with bitter chocolate. Both were very delicious and enjoyable.

It is always crowded, and people from the local area are pleased when given as a gift. Prices range from 600 yen to over 1000 yen. The butter aroma is amazing. On Thursday, December 15th, I was on a business trip to the Kansai region since the previous day. I was given a recommendation by a business contact in Osaka to try the high-end Pocky called Baton d'Or as a souvenir. After finishing my visit to the client, I had some time to spare, so I went to the basement floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store where there was a line of about 10 people. I decided to join the line and observed others picking out chocolates, white strawberries, and more. After some contemplation, I ended up buying the following items, each priced at 601 yen including tax. Although it may seem expensive for Pocky, it was a luxurious version, so I bought them on impulse (laughs): - Chocolate x2 - White Strawberry - Uji Matcha from Marukyu Koyamaen - Pistachio & Almond Lately, Osaka souvenirs have mostly been pork buns, so it's nice to have something different like these high-end Pocky once in a while. I told my wife that she can distribute them as Osaka souvenirs, but I haven't tried them yet.

I visited on a regular day. I bought white strawberries at Hankyu Umeda. It feels like a luxury Pocky. The strawberry scent is nice and delicious. I would like to try other flavors as well. Thank you for the meal!

This is the Baton d'Or, the highest grade version of Pocky. It is only sold in 6 stores in physical shops, and I was determined to buy it when I traveled to Osaka. After returning home to Hokkaido, I tried it and it was definitely delicious! I want to eat it with milk. If you buy this as a souvenir, the box looks luxurious and it will surely be well received! All the flavors were tasty, but my personal favorite was black tea. It had a great aroma and tasted delicious.

I think the simple Sugar Butter flavor is the best. Chestnut is good too. The luxurious Pistachio & Berry version is also nice, but it's quite expensive. One bag disappears in no time. It's always nice to receive it as a gift. The packaging is luxurious, so it could be a good gift option.

Baton d'Or is a high-end version of Pocky. I bought the cream cheese sugar at room temperature and the salted vanilla with chocolate in a cooling bag. I had them put in my own cooler bag and brought them home with dry ice. The cream cheese and butter have a nice sweetness and richness. The limited edition vanilla has a refreshing sweetness with a hint of salt, and the chocolate melts in your mouth beautifully.
