Always fully booked popular restaurant!!! The menu consists of only an omakase course with sake! I received a wonderful invitation and finally got to go to this restaurant♩ When I sat down, the first bottle of sake was already placed on the table♩ And there were three sake cups, each with a different design, because the taste of the same sake varies depending on the cup, and they wanted us to enjoy each one♩ First, we had a plate with 5 dishes! Oyster rice, simmered hijiki seaweed, soybean sprouts with nori seaweed, miso soup, pickles. Then, a basket with 8 dishes! Yellowtail sashimi, whitebait and garlic potato salad, Kyoto-style carrot salad, homemade chicken ham, pickled red radish, simmered duck liver, cod milt with ponzu sauce, boiled enoki mushrooms. After the 5 dishes, we had an even more amazing 8-course meal! Perfectly paired with sake~♡ We also added a snow crab dish with vinegar, which was incredibly delicious! Fried Spanish mackerel with homemade tartar sauce and seaweed salt, crispy and delicious! Simmered daikon radish, chicken wings, and chicken meatballs in a rich broth, so flavorful~♡ Homemade pumpkin focaccia, a Japanese twist on a classic bread, served with gourmet salt! Steamed egg custard with cauliflower and shrimp inside! Soba noodles to finish! We chose the large portion with grated daikon radish, which was a refreshing and delicious choice☆ The sake selection included various types like Wind Forest ALPHA 1, Hakuraku Hoshi Junmai Ginjo, Morijima Yumachi Junmai Daiginjo, etc. We started with Wind Forest as always! Drinking sake in three different cups was a fun and interesting experience, as the taste varied with each cup. We were so busy enjoying the food and sake that we couldn't keep track of which sake we were drinking towards the end, but the staff kindly guided us through the sake paradise. They even brought out extra bottles for us to take pictures, making it a truly enjoyable and memorable experience!笑笑

Second visit. Gotta drink a lot today, so I'm hydrating like crazy since morning. Feeling great! Took some turmeric too, and now I'm ready to go. Heard they'll serve low-alcohol drinks for those who can't handle much, so looking forward to trying new types I don't usually drink. Only familiar with Wind of the Forest and Tsuru Nen, the rest are new to me. The low-alcohol fruity cloudy sake was a hit! Tastes like juice! The orange sake is like pon juice. The peach sake is like nectar. And the white sake with a cow logo is like drinking yogurt. Low alcohol content means I could drink a lot without getting too drunk, so I was happy! The food was delicious too! Felt like it was even better than last time. Especially the chicken, was it cooked at low temperature? It was juicy and tender! Also, the mackerel cooked with real sansho pepper was exquisite! Gonna try to replicate that at home! It was delicious! Thank you for the meal!

I made a reservation a month ago and visited the restaurant, looking forward to it. I was able to find my favorite Japanese sake at this store. Thank you. When I told the staff what kind of sake I like, they made several recommendations. I only drink natural sake on a regular basis. When it comes to Japanese sake, I only drink sake made with kimoto or yamahai methods. What is the difference between kimoto and yamahai sake? In the brewing of Japanese sake, the necessary sake starter can be divided into "kimoto-type sake starter" and "sokujo-type sake starter." The difference between the two lies in how lactic acid is obtained in the sake starter. Kimoto-type sake starter obtains lactic acid by cultivating natural lactic acid bacteria, while sokujo-type sake starter adds prepared lactic acid. In that sense, the former can be described as a "lactic acid cultivating starter" and the latter as a "lactic acid adding starter." The course started with various dishes, such as Katsuobushi and corn salad, fried eggplant, marinated scallops, and fried anchovies, followed by a variety of sake and soba dishes for 10,000 yen. This is quite a bargain considering the quality of the sake you can enjoy. The favorite sake I found this time was Maikojin and Kitajima. I want to go back to search for more and introduce this place to my friends. I will only post 5-star reviews on Instagram for places I love and want to visit again and share with friends. I had always been curious about this restaurant that requires full reservations and seemed intimidating to walk-in customers, but I found out that I could make a reservation through Facebook. Luckily, there was an opening for first-time visitors, so I decided to go to "Sake Shujiro." It was a dream come true! They offer a course of Japanese food and sake for about 2.5 to 3 hours, almost like all-you-can-drink sake, for only ¥10,000 (tax included). I was amazed by the cost performance, variety of sake, and delicious food. If you love sake, you must visit this place at least once. I can't wait to go back with other sake enthusiasts!

Today, I finally visited this place I've been wanting to go to. I happened to find a listing that was open to walk-ins, so I tried my luck and managed to make a reservation! I arrived promptly at 6:00 pm for my reservation. We started with a toast with sake. So refreshing! We were served about 100cc of each type of sake, which we shared between the two of us. The drinks kept coming, one after another, making us so happy! But at this rate, we might get too drunk. So we asked for smaller servings. We wanted to try different types of sake. They even served us both the clear and cloudy parts of the unfiltered sake, which was delicious to compare! There were comments about the food portions being small, but with the amount of sake we were served, it was just right. It felt like a pairing menu, but it was almost like all-you-can-drink. And the food was delicious too. It was such a treat to enjoy such tasty dishes with our drinks! Even though we said we couldn't drink anymore, we couldn't resist trying a small serving of the sake we were curious about, and we left feeling very satisfied. If you can handle your alcohol, they probably serve even more drinks. It was so much fun! I definitely want to come back. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

The dishes are all of high quality, and the standout for me was the fried chicken made with branded chicken. The crispy skin and juicy meat allowed me to savor the true flavor of the meat. I participated in a collaboration event for the first time! It was called "pairing," but it was more like a Japanese sake all-you-can-drink event! It was a collaboration event, so the regular menu was not available that day. It was a taco party with a collaboration between Japanese and Mexican cuisine! Each taco that came out one after another was an exquisite dish, and it was great to enjoy them with Japanese sake! There are many staff members who are knowledgeable about Japanese sake and love it, so of course they can recommend it and even serve your favorite sake. Next time, I want to go on a regular day and enjoy Japanese cuisine and sake! I was very satisfied. Thank you very much!

A Japanese sake izakaya in Daikanyama with a concept of catering to sake lovers by sake lovers, for sake lovers. The omakase course starting at 7 pm for 10,000 yen offers excellent value. The sake selection includes 13 different types, each with unique characteristics that make them enjoyable to drink. I particularly liked the easy-drinking Kamo Nishiki Tsukishiro, the strong dashi flavor of Tamura Namazake served warm, and also enjoyed the Nabeshima. The dishes, especially the burdock root menchikatsu and dashimaki sandwich, were outstanding, and the cold sakura shrimp soba was refreshing. The meal ended with nigori sake and pudding. Reservations are required through Facebook. Thank you for the feast!

Just as I had heard, it was a place where both food lovers and sake drinkers could be fully satisfied. The sake selection was great, with new varieties being offered as you finish each one. Each person had three small cups, allowing us to compare and enjoy different sakes. Before I knew it, I had tried 18 different kinds, but surprisingly, I didn't feel bad the next day. Good sake really does make a difference! The food was also delicious, with the initial assortment being my favorite. Each dish was well-paired with sake, making it easy to keep drinking. The cherry shrimp rice pot at the end was exciting with its abundance of shrimp. I heard that a new restaurant affiliated with Shujiro will be opening in Sangenjaya, so I definitely want to visit there as well. We were able to get a reservation for Friday, so we decided to visit without any weekend golf plans and enjoy drinking with our group. We had a great time drinking too much and ended up forgetting to take photos in the second half, but the food was delicious and the drinks were great. We'll be back next month! (As expected, we ended up going to two more places after this...)

The sake is incredibly delicious!! The quality of the sake at this restaurant is so amazing that it's hard to believe it's all-you-can-drink! I first visited about 3 years ago and was impressed, so coming back feels like a dream! The food is also top-notch!! Absolutely the best!!
