Visited on a Saturday night! Chose the most popular Hakata Sukiyaki Nabe course (Okinawa Agu pork x Kyushu black wagyu) when making a reservation! Also ordered the recommended grilled beef tail inside the restaurant! Course content: 1. Salmon confit with salted kelp bisto - The salmon was perfectly fatty and delicious! 2. Grilled beef tail with mustard, black pepper, and rock salt - The simmered beef tail was incredibly tender and flavorful! 3. Main dish of pork and beef hot pot - Agu pork and black wagyu with two types of sauce: salt sauce and tomato sauce. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the meats were both delicious and easy to eat. The green onions added a nice crunchy texture. Finishing with flat rice noodles in the soup was also incredibly tasty. Overall, the beef tail and hot pot were both very delicious! The restaurant had piano music playing and a stylish atmosphere, making it a great spot for a date night. Thank you for the meal!

I was taken to this place by a colleague from the company. I wonder why I didn't know about it when my boss from Osaka is a regular here, haha. It's called "Hakata Sukiyaki Nabe," and I had never heard of it. I was surprised by the visual presentation when it arrived, and the A5-grade Wagyu beef melted in my mouth. It was a luxurious experience!

I visited after several years. The course meal was very satisfying in terms of quantity. The staff's customer service was also excellent. We had a hot pot with a mix of beef and pork. There were two types of sauces and two types of condiments, allowing us to enjoy different flavors while eating. I would like to visit this restaurant again.

The atmosphere of the restaurant is nice and the food is delicious. However, I think it would be better if they were a bit more attentive in serving drinks and food. It's disappointing to see champagne poured from the opposite side of the table or soft drinks taken away while still being drunk in a high-end restaurant. The staff seem to be nice and considerate, but maybe they need more training in manners and etiquette.

Today, I visited Kin Tsuta in Haruyoshi. It is a popular restaurant in Fukuoka known for its sukiyaki hot pot. I ordered the course menu with an upgrade to include wine-stewed oxtail and dessert. The wine-stewed oxtail is a must-try dish, with the tender meat and red wine pairing perfectly. The main sukiyaki hot pot comes with a mix of beef and pork, which can be a matter of personal preference. I enjoyed both types of meat. I initially thought it would be a traditional Japanese hot pot restaurant, but it was completely different! The atmosphere was very elegant and high-class with a heavy wooden feel. We reserved the highest course for up to 8 people. The flounder and caviar were delicious, as well as the eel with herb bread. The lobster and Spanish mackerel were also tasty. The black wagyu beef was a bit tough, but still good. The hot pot was incredibly delicious. The risotto in particular was amazing. The dessert was plentiful. Overall, the portion sizes were generous and we were very satisfied. I will definitely come back!

When it comes to hot pot in Fukuoka, motsunabe and Mizutaki are popular choices. However, I recently discovered a unique dish called Hakata Sukiniku Nabe and finally had the chance to try it out. The restaurant had a high-end atmosphere with jazz music and live piano performances, which was quite refreshing. Upon entering, we were welcomed with a welcome drink in a room with a fireplace, followed by being seated and starting the course. We ordered the Hakata Sukiniku Nabe course featuring Okinawa Agu pork and Kyushu Black Wagyu. From the first dish to dessert, every dish was satisfying. The course included the following: - First Dish: Smoked Salmon with Zuwai Crab Mashed Potato - Appetizer: Itojima Pork Gire with Kekka Sauce - Hakata Sukiniku Nabe: Okinawa Agu Pork x Kumamoto Wagyu Sirloin with Tomato Base and two types of dipping sauces - Finale: Risotto (additional 200 yen) or noodles - Dessert: Strawberry Semifreddo Each dish was delicious, with the standout being the Zuwai Crab Mashed Potato in the first dish. The Hakata Sukiniku Nabe was a unique experience, where we cooked the meat in two different sauces and enjoyed it with various condiments. The meal ended with a delightful strawberry semifreddo. I used it for a commemorative day. The exterior is a charming Western-style house. First, enjoy a welcome drink in a room with a fireplace! Listen to live piano music and feel elegant. The salt-grilled wagyu tail was tender and delicious! It's no wonder the restaurant recommends it! It came with rock salt, black pepper, and mustard, but personally, I found it most delicious without any condiments! The main dish, "kamameshi," is made with Agu pork and Kyushu wagyu beef, along with leeks. The dipping sauces are tail soup and tomato soup. I personally preferred the tail soup, but the tomato soup was also delicious and made me want to alternate between the two! I ordered the course menu and was quite full! There are private rooms available, so I recommend it for business entertainment or special occasions!

Second visit on 20220610. I was brought here for entertainment a few years ago and was impressed by this restaurant. Since then, I have visited the Roppongi and Ginza branches several times. Finally, I made it to the main branch. I ordered the course menu. The meat hot pot dish is the best here. Tonight, the tail grill was incredibly delicious and impressive. Just this alone made the visit enjoyable. Wonderful.

On a holiday in late May, I visited Fukuoka with my family for some errands. Unfortunately, I couldn't make it to this year's interleague games, but oh well. After finishing our daytime tasks, it was time to think about dinner. We decided to visit "Kaneda Honten" restaurant. The restaurant is located about a 10-minute walk from Tenjin-Minami Station, on the west bank of the Nakagawa River. Upon arrival, the restaurant's impressive building stood out from the surrounding area. The approach to the entrance was also inviting, creating a sense of excitement. We were welcomed with a complimentary drink at the register before being led to our table. The restaurant gradually filled up with reserved guests, including a group of eight men of similar age to me. The menu was presented, and we had to choose between noodles or risotto for the course meal. - First course: Pate de Campagne Marinated pork mixed with liver, a rustic-style pate. It had a perfect balance of saltiness and paired well with champagne. - Second course: Sauteed Itoyori in Provencal Style Sautéed Itoyori sea bream served with a salad, seasoned with garlic, tomatoes, and olive oil. The crispy skin and tender flesh created a delightful texture contrast. - Main course: Hakata Sukiniku Nabe A patented specialty hot pot featuring a mix of Kyushu Black Wagyu beef and Riverwild Ginjo pork. The salt-grilled wagyu tail we received as a service was tender and easy to separate the meat from the bone. The meat was cooked thoroughly, allowing the full flavor to come through. The grilled white fish in tomato soup was delightful, with the firm texture of the fish complementing the tomato soup perfectly. The combination of grape pork and black wagyu shabu-shabu was delicious, with the grape pork being sweet and free of any porky smell. We opted for the popular "Hakata Sukiniku Nabe Course" featuring Okinawa Agu Pork and Kyushu Black Wagyu for 5800 yen per person. The course included dishes like low-temperature cooked chicken breast with cauliflower puree, miso-grilled Spanish mackerel with yuzu flavor, and the main dish of Hakata Sukiniku Nabe with a variety of meats and vegetables. The chicken dish was tender and flavorful, and the Spanish mackerel was surprisingly delicious even for someone like me who isn't a fan of mackerel. The highlight of the meal was the Hakata Sukiniku Nabe, where we cooked the premium meats in two types of soup (tail salt sauce and tomato sauce) at our table. Due to the spread prevention measures, this birthday party ended at 8:00 PM without alcohol. The restaurant followed the requests by conducting alcohol disinfection and temperature checks, allowing us to dine safely. With the closing time at 8:00 PM, we started early and had a birthday party with just three people. I hope that the pandemic ends soon so I can have a birthday party with many friends. Despite being just three people, the food was delicious and there was a lovely birthday piano performance. The seared tuna, sautéed monkfish liver, and other fish dishes were fresh and tasty. I especially loved the monkfish liver with anchovy cream sauce. The grilled fish tail, seasoned with rock salt, black pepper, and mustard, was also a favorite. The simmered pork belly hot pot was consistently delicious, with amazing dipping sauces and soup. We ended with a perfect risotto for dessert, which was delicious. I forgot to take photos because the food was so good. Eating delicious food brings happiness. If the restaurant closes due to a state of emergency, I will consider ordering takeout.
