I had my concept of salt ramen shattered when I tried this place. The clear soup, rich in flavor, with noodles floating in it, was a completely new experience for me. Beneath the yellow oil, there was a milky salt soup. It was described as shrimp salt, but the shrimp flavor was not very pronounced. The ramen also had plenty of bamboo shoots and spinach. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had a nice texture. When ordering, they asked if I wanted medium or thin noodles. I chose thin noodles, which were slightly curly and delicious. The toppings like seaweed and spinach gave me a sense of a traditional ramen shop. It's no wonder this place is popular with locals and visitors alike. I'll definitely be back.

It's around 2 pm in the afternoon, but the place is almost full... Maybe because it's Sunday? There were customers enjoying beer since noon, as well as local residents, and even a couple on a tandem bike, which was quite heartwarming. Luckily, I got a seat without having to wait, but I noticed that the customers waiting outside must have been feeling hot. I'll eat quickly, don't worry! I ordered the tsukemen (medium size, 300g) for ¥890. "It will take about 8 minutes to cook." Oh no! I didn't realize the cooking time was so long when I was planning to eat quickly! Sorry for the wait, everyone. The rich pork bone soup with a hint of sweet bonito powder was quite addictive. There was a trend of pork bone and seafood broth shops popping up some time ago, and people used to say "here we go again" but that just shows how popular this flavor is. The firm medium-thick noodles had a good bounce, and the strong wheat flavor (the color was dark, so maybe some rye flour was mixed in) made it delicious. It seems like it will take about 20 minutes to walk from the nearest Tobu Nerima Station. But there were so many customers coming in at this time. It's really popular. It's a shame I had been ignoring it even though it's close to my workplace. I should have visited earlier, I regret it now. It seemed like there were many orders for salt ramen. Next time, I'll try the "salt" one! Thank you for the meal.

I came to the restaurant with a friend's recommendation. I ordered the shrimp miso dipping noodles and the pork stamina minced meat bowl small size. The dipping noodles had thick noodles with a satisfying texture. The dipping sauce had a strong shrimp flavor. The bowl, even though small, had a good amount of food. The spicy pickled mustard greens that you can add yourself were too spicy for me. The strong impact of the shrimp flavor lingered.

I ordered the tsukami chashu and tsukemen. The chashu that came with the ramen was quite delicious. However, when I ordered the chashu on its own for the first time, it came without any sauce. It would have been better if it had some sauce. I ended up putting it in the dipping broth, which made it less of an issue. But as a standalone dish, it felt a bit lacking.

Visited for the second time in 2023. I tried the recommended "salt" ramen on Twitter. The mild salt broth was unique and delicious. I finished every last drop. The menu offers a variety of options, including the choice of medium or thin noodles, making it worth revisiting.

Casual Ramen - Regular (soy sauce, medium noodles) 1,210 yen
Pork Stamina Minced Meat Bowl - Small 260 yen
First visit in 2023. A bowl with generous toppings and creamy soup that is delicious. The minced meat bowl was also tasty with a good portion size. Finished everything, it was a great meal.

Today I had a leisurely late lunch. I ordered a small portion because rice was free during lunch hours. The portion was about average, but if it wasn't enough, you could get a refill which was generous. I ordered vegetable ramen with a seasoned egg on top. It was a creamy style ramen and very delicious. I was happy to have pickled mustard greens as a side dish for the rice. It was quite spicy but tasty. I even added it to the ramen halfway through for a change in flavor. It was very delicious and I left feeling full!

Around 11:30, I had lunch at the restaurant. I ordered a medium-sized shrimp miso tsukemen (920 yen) and a small mini pork stamina minced meat bowl (100 yen). I heard that there was a discount on mini bowls for lunch only. I also added rice since it was free. I got two servings of rice. I arrived right when the restaurant opened, but it was already full so I had to wait. After about 25 minutes, I was seated inside. The shrimp miso tsukemen was rich in flavor, not too thick, with chunks of bamboo shoots and char siu in the soup. The chewy noodles were delicious. The small rice and mini bowl were slightly more than a spoonful. The mini pork stamina minced meat bowl had a strong garlic flavor and was spicy with chili peppers. It was tasty. I added some probably spicy pickled vegetables to the white rice on the table. It was quite spicy. I was satisfied. The rice portion was a bit much, but it left me feeling just right. I would like to try the abura soba or ramen next time.

The review said, "I wonder what it would be like to be described as serious and earnest. When I actually went, I found it to be true - the staff were all very serious. I'm sure their hard work will pay off in the future. The food was delicious. I will visit again."

I tried the limited-time shrimp oil soba. The first bite brought out the delicious aroma and flavor of shrimp. It was so tasty that I could have kept eating it as is, but since it's oil soba, I added vinegar to it. After adding vinegar twice, it became just like regular oil soba. It seems that the shrimp flavor is best enjoyed as it is without any additional seasoning. This is just my personal preference, but I thought I would share it for reference.

- Situation: Sunday around 1:20 PM
- Crowdedness: The restaurant has 6 counter seats, with 2 seats occupied.
- Background: I visited the restaurant craving for shrimp miso dipping noodles. This is my second visit, as I was introduced to it by a friend. The shrimp miso here is incredibly delicious, rivaling the famous Ichigen in Hokkaido. Today, I ordered the shrimp miso cream dipping noodles, medium size 300g (890 yen), and also got the free rice for lunch. Last time, my friend ordered dipping noodles and received an extra bowl of dipping sauce, so I was kind of expecting the same thing this time. After about a 10-minute wait, the dish arrived. The soup bowl was huge, ensuring that I wouldn't run out of soup, which is important. As for the taste, the soup had a rich shrimp flavor, just like I like it. Maybe the cream could be omitted next time. The noodles were thick and filling, with a good chewy texture. I made a mistake by ordering the hot version, as it got a bit dry and clumpy. I should have gone with the cold version. And 300g was too much for me, I'm sorry for leaving some. Next time, I'll go for 200g without rice.

Around 13:20, arrived at the restaurant with 7 customers already seated, almost full tables, but luckily there was one seat available (^o^)v. I ordered shrimp miso tsukemen (medium size) with extra seasoned egg and cabbage. Also got a complimentary serving of rice (medium). Delicious... (☆▽☆)... Finished all the food and drinks today as well (*´ω`*) Thank you for the meal (*^^*)

The shrimp miso cream tsukemen was delicious! It was so good~!! For those who like shrimp and carbonara, this might be rated as "the best"! I had never encountered a delicious shrimp ramen before, but this one is recommended!! It's on the rich and heavy side! Regular shrimp ramen is also delicious, but the tsukemen is even richer!! It's not recommended for those who prefer lighter flavors, but for those who like rich and heavy flavors, it's highly recommended!! The chashu pork is tender and delicious, and the way the soup soaks into the noodles is amazing! And the egg!!! This egg is!!! Rich and half-cooked, whether eaten on its own or dipped in the soup, it's so delicious that you'll feel grateful to the world...!!! Make sure to add the egg! It was amazing!!! The only downside is that the location of the restaurant is a bit hard to get to. The seating is also limited. I went on a Saturday night, and it seemed like the kind of place that is loved by locals, with groups of four enjoying themselves, giving off a slightly awkward vibe. But I will definitely go back!! Because it was really delicious!! I want to eat it again!! Definitely!! It was so good!! It's also quite affordable to add extra toppings for two people at 2020 yen. And the tissue box is cute haha. I recommend this restaurant!

Tonight, I had the Oil Ramen (medium) and the Pork Stamina Minced Meat Bowl (small). The flavors were as expected, and I adjusted them to my liking with chili oil and vinegar. Since there was no egg, it was light and easy to eat. I finished with the Pork Stamina Minced Meat Bowl, topped with mayonnaise, and it was satisfying until the end. Adjusting shrimp dishes can be tricky, so I recommend eating them as they are. Have I tried everything on the menu now?

This time, I had the large size of shrimp miso oil soba and a small rice. It was a big mistake this time. When I started eating it on its own, the flavor of shrimp was very good and I wanted to finish it as it is. However, I added chili oil, thinking it's oil soba after all, and the sesame oil flavor increased while the shrimp flavor became a bit weaker. Next, I added vinegar, and it turned into just regular oil soba. I put the rice in the remaining broth and topped it with mayonnaise, turning it into mayo rice. Next time, I want to conquer it and enjoy it without any toppings. So frustrating~

It's the end of the year... There's not much time left, but even though I accepted that I won't have any days off, I still want a break, you know... Why is it that during times like this, I always end up neglecting work more than usual? It's a good year, after all... But I have no choice but to work... Okay, work is done. I'm hungry. Ramen time! Heading to Kiraku with my junior colleague. Arrived around 2 PM. 8 customers already seated, 2 customers came in after us (3 customers left). When you go to Kiraku, you have to order the "Shrimp Miso Ramen (regular size, medium thickness noodles) with seasoned egg and cabbage bean sprouts" verbally. Today, I also asked for a side of rice (medium) as a service. The ramen was served in about 10 minutes. Oh, the cabbage bean sprouts are piled up high, like a Jiro-style ramen. I topped it with white sesame seeds and spicy pickled vegetables from the table, and let's dig in. It's been a while since I last had it... I took a sip of the soup... Hmm... It's light... What's going on? I took another sip... Hmm... I took a third sip... I took a fourth sip... It's definitely light. The aroma of shrimp is there, but there's no richness in the soup. Maybe the soup got diluted because of the cabbage bean sprouts. I tried scooping up the soup from the bottom of the bowl, but it's still light. The medium thickness noodles are chewy and delicious as always. The soup, though... It's light. The cabbage bean sprouts have a nice crunchy texture, and the cabbage is tender. The chashu is still tender, it falls apart easily when picked up with chopsticks. The wilted spinach and seaweed are also included, making it an excellent house ramen. I added fish powder for flavor and some table chili for extra spice. Managed to finish eating and drinking everything. Thank you for the meal. This time, it wasn't as satisfying... I'll look forward to coming back for a rematch next year. I hope for an excellent bowl next time.

Today is my only day off. But I wasn't feeling well yesterday, so I had to make up for it by coming in to work today. I ended up working hard and before I knew it, it was already 2 pm... I was getting hungry. I invited my boss and we went to "Kiraku". We arrived at 2:40 pm, and the restaurant was packed. It's not very close to Tobu Nerima Station, about a 10-minute walk, but it's always busy. We waited outside for 2-3 minutes and then got a table inside. I ordered the "Shrimp Salt Ramen (medium noodles, regular size)" without the complimentary rice today. The ramen arrived in about 7-8 minutes. The soup had a strong shrimp aroma mixed with pork bone base, which was irresistible. The noodles were chewy and coated well with the soup, making it hard to stop slurping. The toppings included thick and tender pork belly chashu, crunchy spinach, seaweed, chopped green onions, and shredded red chili peppers. I added some sesame seeds and spicy pickled vegetables on top. I should have ordered some white rice too... The meal was delicious as always. I finished every last bit and drink. Thank you for the meal. I will definitely visit again.

It has been over a year since I arrived in Itabashi Ward. I have been devoted to the path of ramen with the King, and I am constantly striving to improve. Among the many ramen shops I have visited, one with a high repeat rate is "Kiraku". Despite being a 15-minute walk from Tobu Nerima Station and not easily accessible, the shop is always crowded with a line outside! Today, I checked on Tabelog that the closing time is 2:30 PM (current time is 2:30 PM), and I was feeling a bit disappointed. But then, my subordinate heard a divine message. "It's open until 3 PM," he said. Trusting his words, the King and I headed to "Kiraku"! We made it just in time before closing! Excited, we ordered the "Ebi Shio Ramen". The King and I waited in silence, savoring the anticipation of that familiar taste. After about 6 minutes, the ramen arrived. As always, I first tasted the soup. The shrimp-flavored broth with a rich umami taste... truly indescribable. Then, the noodles... the chewy texture of the medium-thick noodles was delightful. I enjoyed mixing the rice with the seaweed and toppings, just like in a manga I once read about ramen rice. The King, visiting after 2 and a half months, couldn't hide his smile. We both finished almost at the same time. Another delicious and enjoyable meal! Thank you for always providing such an amazing experience. I will continue to visit as long as I am in this area, and even if I move away, I will definitely come back. If you haven't experienced this delight yet, be sure to visit "Kiraku"!

The location of the restaurant is about a 12-minute walk from Tobu Nerima Station on the Tobu Tojo Line. I arrived at 12:41 pm for lunch. This is a sister store of the previously introduced "Men Dokoro Inoko Akatsuka Store", with the main store located in Heiwadai. The restaurant opened in February 2019, making this the third store. The menu is displayed inside the restaurant and also outside. Surprisingly, there are quite a variety of menu items available here, similar to "Men Dokoro Inoko". Orders are taken orally as there is no ticket machine. The restaurant is small, with a total of 9 seats including counter and table seating. It tends to get crowded during lunchtime, and it was almost full on the day of my visit. I ordered the "Shrimp Miso Ramen (840 yen) with medium rice (complimentary)". Rice (small, medium, large) is complimentary during lunchtime. I love the words "complimentary rice" the most in this world, followed by "complimentary large serving" (laughs). The shrimp miso ramen comes with chashu, spinach, nori, green onions, and shredded red chili peppers as toppings. The chashu is tender and falls apart easily. The shrimp miso is flavorful and the shrimp taste comes through strongly. The noodles, which can be chosen as thin or medium, were cooked al dente and paired well with the rich soup. There are various condiments available on the table. Be careful not to overpower the shrimp flavor by adding too much garlic (I learned this the hard way). The complimentary spicy pickled vegetables go well with the ramen. This restaurant is a bit of a walk from the station, but it's close to my home. It's a great place where you can enjoy both ramen and alcohol. Check out my detailed review on my blog.
