The food was delicious! The restaurant allows you to choose from 6 different appetizers, which is great. The appetizers were also tasty! I liked that they showed us the tempura options beforehand, making it easier to decide. They offer a variety of side dishes, from light to hearty options. My favorite was the mentaiko (spicy cod roe) omelette. They have 4 different types of omelettes to choose from, which was a tough decision!

I entered the restaurant as soon as it opened at 11:30. Today's special is Toriten Don for 1,200 yen. This place only serves this dish. The Toriten with tartar sauce is probably made with chicken breast, tender and delicious. The soft-boiled egg tempura is also tasty. I usually have seconds of rice, but I resisted today. Another delicious meal as always.

I started with a refreshing cold lemon sour and ordered three different types of skewered tempura. You can order just one skewer at a time, so even if you're dining alone, you can try a variety. The tempura included boiled egg, pork wrapped in watercress, and cashew nuts, each with their own delicious sauce. The chilled noodles at the end were smooth and easy to eat.

I visited a restaurant at night with my friend from France. The variety of tempura skewers was very large, and we enjoyed the hot and delicious freshly fried tempura. Among the other dishes, I really liked the white peach and nut mascarpone mix! I would like to try to replicate it at home. (If I had to ask for more, I would appreciate it if there were a few more refreshing dishes.) There was a wide variety of alcohol options, and I was recommended a few fruity types of sake that I liked. I even got to taste some off-menu options, and I ended up ordering more of a particular brand that I really enjoyed because of its rich koji flavor. My friend, who has the opposite taste from me, was very satisfied! The chocolate fondant dessert we chose was a bit disappointing, probably because we know the authentic French version, sorry. I thought maybe a Japanese dessert like matcha or warabi mochi would be nice (although they did have kinako black honey pudding). The staff were young, enthusiastic, and full of smiles, creating a simple, kind, and pleasant atmosphere that made us feel like we were being taken to their home country. I unexpectedly felt a warm feeling deep in my heart. The manager or someone in a managerial role was Japanese and provided detailed and accurate explanations of the alcohol, which was very helpful. So, I found my favorite restaurant in a prime location, and I definitely want to visit again, but I have a feeling it will be difficult to make a reservation! *I have spent a lot of time abroad, so I don't pay attention to details in casual restaurants. Please understand that this is my personal impression.

I made a reservation and ordered a course, but the dishes that came out were not exactly traditional tempura. The taste was solid and delicious. However, there were many instances where drink orders were forgotten, so I think staff training is necessary. The all-you-can-drink option was appreciated for its flexible last order time. I might consider coming back for a la carte instead of the course.

The other day, after work, I went to Yaesu Tempura Kushi Yamamoto in Otemachi. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm and I was able to relax and enjoy my time there. They fry the skewered ingredients to a crispy perfection, which is a fresh style. The tempura dipping sauce also has an exquisite flavor that pairs well with the tempura. I definitely want to visit again.

On this day, I chose this place for lunch after enjoying an exhibition at a museum in Yurakucho. It was a bit tricky to find in a back alley, but I made it there safely. The place was already packed, with many office workers around. I ordered a beer and the "Joten-don" (tempura rice bowl). The tempura bowl that arrived was huge, with two pieces each of conger eel, shrimp, and chicken tempura, along with eggplant, okra, shiitake mushrooms, and even egg tempura. I started by breaking it down and eating it. The tempura was crispy and delicious. The rice portion was a bit small, but it was enough with all the tempura. By the time I finished the tempura, I was already full. It was delicious, good value for money, and I left satisfied.

The other day, after work, I stopped by Yaesu Tempura Kushi Yamamoto-ya in Otemachi. It's a tempura izakaya where they fry the ingredients skewered on sticks in a fresh style that impressed me. The tempura, freshly fried, was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, spreading the flavor of the ingredients in my mouth. Especially the shrimp tempura was outstanding in size and texture. The tempura dipping sauce also had an exquisite taste that paired well with the tempura. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was calm, and I was able to spend a relaxing time. The staff were polite and I enjoyed my meal comfortably. I would like to visit again.

We used it for a company drinking party. There were four of us and we sat at a table for four, but it was quite cramped for four adults. The staff worked efficiently and recommended today's tempura and other dishes, so we asked them to bring us whatever they thought was good. The food was very delicious and satisfying. The drinks were also good. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice, so I think it's a good place for a casual drinking party.

Today, I visited Tempura Kushi Yamamoto Honke in Yaesu, which is about a 5-minute walk from Tokyo Station. It was lunchtime on a weekday, but I arrived a little early and was able to enter without waiting. I ordered the "Jou Ten Don" (large tempura rice bowl) that caught my eye in the photos. The rice comes in a large portion and refills are free. After a short wait of about 5 minutes, my order arrived. The bowl was filled with tall anago tempura that couldn't even fit in the photo, all for the reasonable price of 1,500 yen. It also included half-cooked egg tempura, shrimp tempura, quail tempura, and shiitake mushrooms, among others. The tempura sauce was served separately in a container, allowing me to add the desired amount. I prefer to add a small amount of the thick sweet sauce to maintain the crispy texture of the tempura. I transferred the half-cooked egg tempura, which was served on a separate plate, to the bowl, sprinkled some sansho pepper, and enjoyed changing the flavor as I ate. It was also delicious to mix it with the shiitake mushroom tempura. It was a great value for the price, and I will definitely visit again!

They will fill you up. Various small dishes are served, all of them delicious, and even when you think you're full, you can still eat more skewers. The camembert skewer mysteriously disappeared while I was in the bathroom, but... The finale is A5 meat seared and topped with sauce and egg, like sushi. The combination of the crispy texture and the sweetness of the meat and sauce is great. I couldn't finish all the rice, but... It was recommended by a colleague, and after hearing an episode from when it was in Akasaka, it became even more delicious.

I used it for a banquet. It was Thursday night, but it was crowded with office workers. The seats were in a separate area on the top floor, and I was able to enjoy a very calm atmosphere. This time, I used it for a course meal, but there were many dishes and a wide variety of drinks, so I was able to enjoy it very deliciously.

Around 11:30 AM, I ordered the "Joten Don" for 1500 yen at the Yamamoto family's restaurant. It was served in about 5 minutes. The tempura consisted of shrimp, shiitake mushrooms, eggplant, and asparagus, with a large piece of conger eel and another type that I forgot. A separate plate included a half-cooked egg. For the tempura, you had to pour the sauce yourself, with options of sansho pepper and tartar sauce for the chicken tempura. The rice at the bottom already had a bit of sauce on it. The tempura was light and crispy, and the sauce was on the sweeter side. I quickly finished everything because it was so delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Because it's Yaesu!? Two highballs each, one bottle of warm sake, this dish, and two mozzarella bacon rolls cost over 10,000 yen. It's rare to be able to choose from 5 different appetizers. Overall, it's not bad, but not great either. The staff, all foreigners (Thai!? Bangkok!?), are not unfriendly, but... It's not a place to savor the food, is this what it's like.

I visited the restaurant around 11:25 for lunch. It was quite early, so there was only one other group of customers. After much deliberation, I decided on the chicken tempura rice bowl for 1,100 yen. The chicken tempura was served with tartar sauce and vinegar. The price was reasonable considering it also came with egg tempura. I enjoyed my meal today as well.

Since it was my first time at the restaurant, I decided to go with the 5500 yen all-you-can-drink course. I couldn't take photos, but there were a lot of dishes and everything was delicious! In between the fried foods, there were appetizers like simmered dishes and fresh yams, so I could enjoy without feeling guilty. The miso soup and somen noodles at the end were also excellent. The drink selection for the all-you-can-drink option is great too. I think it's amazing to get this quality at this price in Yaesu. I will definitely visit again.

A casual tempura skewer restaurant located about a 2-minute walk from Nihonbashi Station A3 exit. I was in charge of organizing a year-end party for 6 people, and after considering the opinions of the members and the reservation status, we ultimately decided on this restaurant. We reserved the full course menu with 2 hours of all-you-can-drink (13 dishes: 8800 yen) + 1 hour extension of all-you-can-drink (1100 yen), which was super luxurious. When we visited just before our reservation time at 6 pm, we were seated at a long table across from the kitchen. The location of the restaurant is a bit hard to find in a narrow alley (look for many people smoking near the entrance), so I recommend bringing an enlarged map. Moving on, the course menu included appetizers (2 daily side dishes), raw yam, seasonal fruit and cashew nut mascarpone cheese, raw yuba sashimi, seasonal vegetable ohitashi, premium nori-wrapped rolled omelette, 1st skewer: seasonal special tempura, 2nd skewer: famous tempura skewer [vegetable meat roll skewer], 3rd skewer: famous tempura skewer [vegetable fish roll skewer], A5 Awagyu seared sukiyaki rice, daily soup, Yamamoto family's famous pudding, and so on. We started with a toast with sparkling wine for everyone, and then each person ordered their favorite drink from the all-you-can-drink menu. Among the sake options in the all-you-can-drink menu, there was AKABU from Iwate, which delighted the sake lovers in our group, and they quickly finished it all. The staff kindly gave us Saga's Nabeshima as a replacement, which we were truly grateful for (I, a non-drinker, only took a sip). Regarding the course dishes, all the dishes were delicious, as expected for the price of 8800 yen, but my favorite was the A5 Awagyu seared sukiyaki rice. It was a dish where beef with beautiful marbling was seared on top of rice with a burner, and then topped with a sauce containing egg yolk. I think I was too drunk to fully appreciate it, but the taste was undeniably amazing. The main tempura skewers were lotus root and shiso pork belly roll, mackerel and tomato cheese topping, and cod milt seaweed roll. The combinations were unusual for me, so it was fun to eat. Personally, I wished I could have savored the tempura skewers more, so it would be great if there were courses where you could fully enjoy the main tempura skewers.

A tempura restaurant located in a back alley of Nihonbashi. It's a relatively small shop but cozy and great for conversation. The staff are friendly. The tempura is delicious, but the highlight is the black wagyu beef seared sukiyaki rice served at the end of the course. It's worth trying this luxurious dish where you can enjoy high-quality sukiyaki and rich egg over rice at the same time.

I visited for lunch on a weekday. The morning work ran late, so I arrived around 12:30. It was crowded with a wait of 3 people ahead of me, so I waited for about 20 minutes before being seated. The restaurant was small with the main seating area on the second floor. There was also a middle floor, which was a bit unusual. For the main dish, I ordered a regular-sized tempura rice bowl since I had heard it was quite substantial. It came with 2 prawns, 2 chicken pieces, eggplant, shiitake mushrooms, okra, and egg tempura, along with miso soup! The rice portion was large, and refills were free, making it a great value for money. The sauce was delicious, and the tempura was crispy and enjoyable to eat.

First, you can choose a hot, normal, or extremely cold towel. After finishing work in the middle of summer, I chose the extremely cold one. I was surprised by the crispy flat ice-cold towel and had a great time. The recommended menu by the staff, the service, everything was very pleasant and welcoming. The tempura skewers here are not just traditional tempura but more like a fusion with skewers. They were really delicious. The scallop and shrimp with garlic butter, which could be a regular dish on its own, tasted even better as tempura skewers with some drinks. I registered on the app and got a discount on limited sake, so I signed up immediately. The sake, highballs, wines, everything on the menu here is great. Some of the dishes I ordered this time were ginger-wrapped pork belly, scallop and shrimp with garlic butter, Naruto lotus root, half portion of squid tempura, and crispy cheese for adults. There are so many menu items that I couldn't try everything I wanted, so I will definitely come back.
