I wanted to go to the first bar or izakaya, but it was rejected by the people I met in Asakusa who wanted to go to a chain restaurant instead. The menu was affordable, with wine in a cup being a safe choice. The yakitori was large and tender, and the salad had a generous amount of dressing. The staff were friendly and even gave me a takeout pack when I mistakenly ordered too much food. It was a good experience overall.

I didn't have to show my ID for age verification today, unlike before, and was able to enter the restaurant easily! As usual, I ordered using the touch panel, which was convenient. The speed of service was fast as always, and I ordered the cabbage, which was a stable choice. It was nice to be able to get refills. I also ordered various items like cartilage and skin. This time, the size of the cartilage was noticeably different from the menu, which surprised me and I couldn't help but take a picture. I was worried that it was so different from the menu. I had beer and red wine for drinks, which were okay, tasting just like usual.

You can't go wrong with the cost performance.

I would be happier if the alcohol was a little tastier.

Late at night, I couldn't make it to Kaibushi Men in Minami-machi, so I ended up visiting Torikizoku for the first time. Everything on the menu is 298 yen, tax included it's 321 yen. A premium malt beer in a mug is also the same price, as well as the yakitori and ramen. It's hard to tell if it's a good deal or not because everything is the same price. I tried the garlic salted heart and seseri, and they were satisfying. The flavor is a bit light, maybe because they don't season it much and you can adjust it to your liking with the salt, pepper, and shichimi on the table. The clams ramen was also 321 yen, which is not bad. The slightly smaller portion was just right for us drunk people. Sometimes, this is the kind of food you crave. I want to visit with an empty stomach and try a variety of dishes, like going on a shopping spree at a 100 yen shop.

"Is Torikizoku really cheap? That's my theme, haha. I wonder... when analyzing it... not just the food, but the 298 yen for alcohol feels like a great deal. Being able to drink draft beer, sours, and cocktails for 298 yen is unheard of. Personally, I love Zima, so being able to drink it for 298 yen is amazing. As for the food... it depends on what you choose. Some dishes are delicious, while others are just okay. The hormone dish with green onion and ponzu sauce was quite good. And I was thrilled to see they had sansho pepper available! In conclusion... is it really cheap? Well, thank you for the meal!"

I had heard of "Torikizoku" for a long time, but never had the chance to visit. However, when I heard that it had opened in place of the old "Sakura Suisan" nearby, I decided to go with my family. The new store, Torikizoku Hounancho, was located down a staircase and had a completely different layout from its predecessor. The place was bustling with customers. As you may know, everything on the menu is priced at 280 yen (excluding tax), and they have switched to using only domestic ingredients, with a new autumn-winter menu starting in October. Let's dig in! We started with a toast with a glass of draft beer, which was refreshing in the lingering summer heat. We ordered dishes like oil-drenched chicken, fluffy grated yam on a hot plate, chewy cheese grill, chicken sausage skewers, and more. The "Momo Kizoku Yaki Spice" was a standout dish, full of flavor and satisfying. We also enjoyed the all-you-can-eat cabbage salad. With a couple of beer refills, we left fully satisfied for under 5000 yen for three people. The cost performance was great, and it's clear why Torikizoku is a winner in the izakaya industry. The closure of Toriichizu Hounancho had left me feeling a bit down, but Torikizoku has brightened things up. It was delicious. Thank you for the meal.

There is a place that can be said to be a cursed spot where so-called tenants fail to succeed. This spot, where Torikizoku opened, is exactly that. Despite being just a 1-minute walk from the station exit, the location is not bad at all. However, various restaurants such as yakiniku, sushi, Sakurazushi, have opened and closed one after another. So, how about this time? When I visited around 6 pm on Sunday, it was packed and thriving. Even taking into account the fact that other shops were closed for Obon, the bustling atmosphere felt like a lie compared to before. It was my first time at Torikizoku, so I started by choosing recommended menu items. The dishes served were not exceptionally delicious, but considering the cost performance, there was no dissatisfaction. I particularly liked the rare part called "matsuba." It was perfect as a snack. By the way, to be honest, there are other restaurants in Hananomachi that offer more delicious yakitori than Torikizoku, but this place has a chaotic atmosphere with a mix of young people and families, making it a fun place to discover hit menu items like this time. Thank you for the meal.

The taste is decent but the prices are too good for the common people. Anyway, it's always full by 6 pm (on weekends). Is it because they have too few staff or is the operation bad? Even when you press the call button, the staff doesn't come right away. And when they finally come to take your order, the food doesn't arrive. In the end, only time passes. This makes the satisfaction level low no matter how good the price and taste are. I hope new staff will be trained soon. Just waiting for the situation to improve.

I visited for the first time. I had been wanting to try Torikizoku for a while, and finally went in February (and again in March). It was packed by 7pm, maybe because it was after payday weekend? The orders took a while to come, and when I asked, they said they only had 2 staff in the hall. It seemed tough. But the second time I went, it was fine. The food is cheap at a flat rate of 280 yen each, tasty, not bad at all. Among the orders, only the tsukune was disappointing. I ordered it twice and won't order it again. So far, everything else has been good. You can enjoy everything you order. Considering the cost performance, I can't really complain about the service. It's decent enough. *Although I mentioned that it's delicious and I will revisit, I ended up going 4 times... (laughs) Torikizoku did nothing wrong, but I'm not feeling great about it.
