I found this bar in Kitahama through a search. It was surprisingly not crowded on the weekend, so we were able to get in right away. We ordered a beer set and some small dishes. It cost just over 2,000 yen for two people, which was a great deal. Thank you for the delicious meal! ❤️

The one coin drink + 3 item set during happy hour is too good of a deal. I went around 4pm on a Saturday and it was already full. Luckily, the people sitting outside moved their table to make room for us. I'm grateful and impressed. Happy hour is until 6pm on weekdays and 7pm on weekends. Even with just the 3 items, you can see why this place is popular. I had to leave quickly for a reason this time, but I will definitely visit again to enjoy it properly.

【Best Standing Bar in Kitahama】Whenever I want to have a drink in Kitahama, I always come here. The happy hour is a great deal at 500 yen for a one coin, including 3 types of snacks and draft beer. Osaka is delicious and cheap after all. Even after happy hour, the menu is still affordable and the fish is really delicious, so I end up drinking too much every time. On Friday at 7:30 pm, I went to "Kakomo" in Kitahama. It's a standing bar located closer to Honmachi. I tried the "aji no namerou" which is seasoned with dashi soy sauce. It was slightly sticky and I really liked the flavor. I also had the "young chicken with cartilage fried chicken", where the meat was firmly attached to the cartilage. It was hot and freshly fried, and surprisingly filling. Each menu item felt like a well-thought-out dish with attention to detail. It's a great place for a quick drink after work, and I think it would be popular among the nearby office workers. Thank you for the delicious meal.

After enjoying the roses at Nakanoshima Rose Garden, I found a charming standing bar called Kakomo in Kitahama. It was already crowded even though it was early, but luckily I managed to snag a seat near the entrance. The place quickly filled up, including the terrace, and it became very popular. They offered a great deal with a one-coin service for a highball, and when I ordered the dish that caught my eye, "Moukazame" (mouse shark) heart sashimi, I was pleasantly surprised. Unlike regular shark meat which can have a strong ammonia smell and a unique taste, Moukazame had no unpleasant odor and a firm texture. It is a rare shark mostly caught in Kesennuma, and it was my first time trying it. It had a crunchy texture and was incredibly delicious! I also tried a few other dishes that caught my interest, and of course, enjoyed some sake. To finish off, I had the restaurant's specialty, "Ebi Tempura Maki Sushi," which was both generous in portion and incredibly tasty. I thoroughly enjoyed my meal and would love to visit again to try more of their seafood menu. It was a delightful dining experience. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I had been curious about this shop for a while. Upon entering, I found that while it is slightly more expensive than other standing bars, the quality of the side dishes is much higher, and the prices are lower than those of small restaurants. This is a great place to enjoy delicious food in small portions, perfect for when you just want to stop by for a bit. It's great after a business meeting or when you're not very hungry. I will definitely visit again.

I enjoyed delicious sake and dishes at Kako in Kitahama. I had Akashi-produced Kodako sashimi, smoked duck, and two cups of sake. It was after dinner, so I just had a little bit, but everything was delicious. It had been a while since my last visit, but the overwhelming cost performance is always impressive, and the restaurant is always full of customers whenever I go.

It's been a while since I visited! I was lucky to go during their one-coin service where you get a drink and three small dishes for 500 yen. They have a lot of delicious looking menu items. The mugwort gluten was pretty good! So were the tulips! The fried horse mackerel was better than expected. The atmosphere was still great as always. Thank you for the meal!

Today is a revenge date for "Kakomo," who was dumped during the last three-day weekend. I met up with a friend at the restaurant at 6:00 PM, arrived early and started sipping on draft beer. My friend arrived 15 minutes late. We toasted again! The dishes we ordered were chicken breast and komatsuna with sesame dressing for 200 yen, assorted oden for 480 yen, locally sourced sashimi of yellowtail for 680 yen, locally caught live stonefish for 780 yen, and young chicken fried for 310 yen, all incredibly cheap. The taste was definitely top-notch! They also had a variety of delicious sake such as Morishima Junmai Daiginjo and Kariya Junmai Ginjo unpasteurized sake. This is how standing bars in Osaka should be (laughs). Thank you for the wonderful meal!

We met at 4 pm and there were three of us. The restaurant was full inside so we sat outside. They had a great deal with three dishes for a very reasonable price. We ordered two beers and some fried smelt. The dishes were small but elegant, and for the price, it was worth it. Everything was delicious. It was a nice place for a quick bite and a drink. Kitahama standing bar "Kakomo" might be my first visit since the start of the pandemic. It was relatively empty today. Two of us had drinks and food for 5,000 yen. The mandatory initial order of 500 yen (with otoshi) was a good deal. The snacks and fish were delicious. As time passed, more customers arrived, making it difficult to take photos.

My husband was away on Sunday, so I invited a coworker to go out for drinks and surprisingly, she was free! We had a great time complaining about work while enjoying delicious food and drinks. The restaurant is definitely worth visiting again. Next time, I want to take her to a standing bar in Taisho era style that I know.

I was turned away before because it was full, so today I left early and entered after 5 o'clock. As expected, it's still not crowded. I started with the one-coin set. The three kinds of appetizers were delicious. Then I saw the Yamaguchi prefecture's blowfish tessa on the menu, and after some hesitation, I ordered it. It was a bit over budget, but delicious. The sticky texture of the small potato potato salad, the stacking of the Morokuchi Daikon Nara-zuke, and the easy-to-order price setting. This place is amazing. If you don't succumb to the temptation of high prices, you can enjoy it for just over a thousand yen. Thank you for the meal.

On a regular Friday before 6pm, the restaurant was fully booked. I waited outside for about 10 minutes. There were about 14 people at the counter and 2 tables outside, each with their own space. Many customers were dressed in suits, and there were some lovely older gentlemen. There was also a beautiful woman sitting next to me. I enjoyed some sake and managed to order the happy hour set just in time before 6pm. It was a great deal. The restaurant was very busy, so I decided to order everything at once. I had the seared bonito from Nagasaki for 650 yen, potato salad with small taro for 200 yen, and burdock chips for 310 yen. I also couldn't decide on the sake, so I went with a draft beer - a medium-sized Premium Malt for 420 yen. Despite being busy, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere, and the food was delicious and reasonably priced. It was a standing bar, but it felt like a calm, adult space. It was a really good experience. Thank you for the meal.

I went to a popular standing bar in Kitahama before the state of emergency was declared. It's said that it gets crowded quickly, so I hurried there at 5 pm. There were many customers and a wide variety of Japanese sake available. First, I ordered a one-coin set for 500 yen, which included one drink and three side dishes. The sashimi of yellowtail was delicious! The sea snail was crunchy and went well with the sake. The fresh tofu skin was smooth, and I enjoyed it with sweet potato shochu. The food at this restaurant was very delicious.

One-coin service at Kanagi: Junmai Ginjo Muroka Namazake, Ochoufujin: Junmai Ginjo Yumesarara Warai Shiki, Sensation: Tokubetsu Junmai White Sake, Sashimi Assortment, Abalone and Uni with Sake Lees, Young Bamboo Shoots. We arrived at a time when we could only come for the first time. We were seated next to a acrylic board divider, with nylon film hanging down in front of us, and acrylic boards placed for sliding. We started with a toast at Kanagi. The 3 types of appetizers were elegantly seasoned. The sashimi that came out was really delicious, although we didn't get any explanation, so we couldn't tell the details, but it was just so good. The white fish had a strong texture, maybe it was just caught. The sake was flowing smoothly in between, and before we knew it, we were on our 3rd cup. The young bamboo shoots were sweet and delicious. Mambo was starting, so we quickly finished up as there was about 40 minutes left to drink. We moved on to the next chapter with two people. Today my husband is not home, so it's time for round two of drinking alone. Since my work hours have been shortened a bit, I went out early. Maybe because of that, there weren't many other customers. I ordered a highball for just one coin. I wonder if I should have ordered a slightly more expensive shochu instead? (laughs) The plate had three types of fish. I munched on them heartily and then had a little bit of other food. I read manga on my phone and read a lot. When the food ran out, I ordered the hirame (flounder) tartare fry. It came with four fries, homemade tartar sauce, sauce, and salt. I squeezed some lemon on it and tried all the toppings. But, the tartar sauce was the most delicious, so I ended up just eating that. It came to a total of 800 yen, super cheap. I want to go back quickly!

Take advantage of the great deals during early drinking sessions with dishes like: ○Miyazaki beef houchin meat tataki (780 yen) ○Kumamoto Amakusa rock oysters (890 yen) ○Seared morning-pulled liver with sesame oil and salt (380 yen) ○Grilled thick tofu (180 yen) ○One-coin service (1 beer + 3 dishes for 500 yen). Probably the most expensive items are the top 2, while the rest range from 180 to 380 yen, making it very reasonable. Some places serve good meat at a lower quality, but here you get the real deal at a good price. The flavor and texture of the Miyazaki beef houchin meat is amazing, and it's a great opportunity to enjoy Miyazaki beef easily. The summer specialty "rock oysters" are huge and easy to eat, maintaining their milky flavor even when cut. Squeeze some lemon, add green onions and grated radish, and the rich oysters will make you want to drink alcohol. The seaweed at the bottom is also delicious!! I felt happy at this kind of restaurant. I visited alone and left feeling satisfied (*´・ω・`)=3. There are so many interesting menu items that I want to try, so I definitely want to come back soon...
