A La Parisienne is a new café located along Hebi-michi, built on the site of the former café F9. The interior is quiet, with piano music playing softly, making it a great place to relax. During my first visit in January, I had the borscht lunch and a cup of tea. The borscht was hearty with chunks of beef, potatoes, carrots, and onions. The tea was served in a pot with a cover to keep it warm, perfect to enjoy with some sweets. On my second visit in August, I tried the curry lunch, which had a lot of summer vegetables in a tomato-based curry sauce. The rice was cooked perfectly and paired well with the curry. The café au lait was served in a bowl with plenty of milk, so I added sugar to sweeten it. With a wide variety of drinks and desserts, I look forward to trying the sweets next time. I purchased two items: Blueberry Cream Cheese Muffin for 350 yen including tax and Carrot Cake for 400 yen including tax. The Blueberry Cream Cheese Muffin had a soft and moist texture with plenty of blueberries. The Carrot Cake was moist with a hint of cinnamon and lots of raisins. They also offer drinks, and there are counter seats and table seats at the back of the store, making it a nice place to relax and have tea.
