I rewarded myself with a cold beer here after enduring a slightly painful experience at the dentist. This is the second location of an izakaya restaurant located on Miyuki Street, south of Nerima Station. There was only one customer before 5:30 PM. I sat at the counter and ordered an Asahi Super Dry draft beer for 460 yen including tax. I started with yakitori negima for 130 yen, chicken tenderloin with wasabi for 180 yen, onion fry for 90 yen, and pickled ginger skewer for 130 yen. The food was served in 8 minutes. The chicken in the yakitori was tender with just the right amount of salt. The chicken tenderloin with wasabi was also tender with a nice texture. The onion fry and pickled ginger skewer had a crispy coating and were a good accompaniment with Worcestershire sauce. I quickly finished my meal in 30 minutes. Thank you for the delicious food.

Since my child became an adult, we have been having more opportunities to go out for drinks in the local area. To avoid any situations where my child might say "I can't pay!" even though they are an adult now, I sometimes accompany them to the places they are interested in. We visited Harutaya, which is located about a 2-minute walk from the station and has several new and clean shops. It was our fourth stop of the night, so we decided to keep it light and entered the shop. We quickly placed our order as it was close to last call, and enjoyed our drinks and food. We ordered through a QR code on the table and payment was cash only. We started with a standard lemon sour for only ¥390! My iced tea highball was even cheaper at ¥360! The spicy beef tendon stew was small but only ¥380, and the skewers ranged from ¥90 for onion to ¥200 for shrimp mayo with three plump shrimp. We also tried tongue, skin, cream cheese, garlic, and various other items. The liver was a bit disappointing, maybe because we had high expectations or because we had tried better at another nearby shop, but overall the restaurant was clean, the staff were polite, the service was fast, and the bill was cheap. Thank you for the meal.

I finished lunch at home and decided to visit this place. First, I ordered Hoppy and drank it all at once. I started with tongue, pork cheek, and pork belly. I chewed them up quickly and they were delicious! Then I added dried young sardines tempura with spicy mayonnaise, which was also very tasty! I couldn't resist and ordered goldfish, cabbage, and lettuce wrapped in meat. The lettuce wrapped in meat with sauce was really good! I finished everything and left feeling satisfied. Thank you for the meal. This place is a hidden gem for Saturday afternoon drinks in Nerima!

On a Saturday afternoon, I didn't feel like going far, so I walked 5 minutes from home to this restaurant. I passed by the crowded main branch and entered. There were only a few customers, so I ordered the white set at the counter. First things first, cheers to myself! The pork cheek was the best I've had in years. I also ordered tongue with salt, well-cooked pork with sauce and green onions. The pork cheek with sauce was delicious, especially when sprinkled with plenty of hot mustard. The green onions were tasty too, but they tended to get stuck in my teeth (laughs). I had a great time with two rounds of drinks at Nakaoka and enjoyed the meal. It's nice to avoid the hustle and bustle of the main branch and relax while enjoying a drink.

On March 26, 2022, Saturday, around 12:30 pm, visited with 2 people. Parking available, no smoking, credit card not confirmed. A few minutes' walk from Nerima Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line and Oedo Line. If you want to drink in Nerima Station South Exit, this place is a good choice. There are several Italian and seafood restaurants in Nerima. This time, I went to drink with the sales manager after a long time, since we last went to Ramen Taro in December last year. We arrived at exactly 12 o'clock. One customer at the counter, we sat at the 4-person table outside. Cheers with bottled beer. Delicious!! Drinking outside is always good. Then had lemon sour, hoppy, and various snacks like skewers, fried potatoes, potato salad, chilled tomatoes, fried tofu, etc. Casual chatting and drinking. It's nice to be able to do that. As more customers arrived, we settled the bill after about 2 hours. The sales manager said, "I like Harutaya." Well, it's a good place, right? It's my first time visiting after Corona, but the seating is adequate, and it's open and comfortable, and I like the food. If you want to drink in Nerima, how about Harutaya? I used the second branch this time, but there is also the main branch nearby, along with a seafood restaurant and an Italian restaurant. The service is pleasant, and it's a good place. Since we drank moderately, we didn't go to a second place this time. Although I ended up going to a conveyor belt sushi restaurant alone later... I will visit again. Thank you for the meal.

The best cost performance izakaya! There is also a yakitori restaurant in Shinjuku where skewers start from 100 yen each. The main store was full, so we went to the adjacent branch. We toasted with a highball in a Springday logo glass! The tomato kimchi, made with a whole tomato, was deliciously spicy. The oden is also reasonably priced. The daikon radish and mochi pouches are large and soaked in flavor. It's a convenient place for both heavy drinkers and light drinkers. Thank you for the meal!

After finishing a meeting with my cousin, we visited this restaurant. It was a Sunday afternoon and quite lively. We started with Hoppy cheers! We ordered simmered dishes, tongue, pork cheeks, cucumber kimchi, and other items for drinking enthusiasts. My cousin is a Hoppy expert with three Nakaochas under her belt, while I only have two, so I still have a lot to learn. But from there, we moved on to green tea highballs, chu-hi, and really got the day drinking going in full swing on a Sunday afternoon. It's a great place to enjoy a drink in a more relaxed atmosphere than the main store next door. Thank you for the meal. It's a great place for weekend daytime drinking!

Visited a client for the first time in a while after the lifting of the state of emergency. Tried to have ginger pork and ginger soy sauce ramen for dinner, but turns out the restaurant is closed on Tuesdays! Ended up going for drinks instead, and when in Nerima, it has to be Harutaya. Noticed they have a beautiful new annex that's even less crowded than the main building. Ordered yakitori for as low as ¥90 and grilled chicken for ¥100-150, very reasonable prices. The grated harami beef was cheap and delicious too! Everything on the menu seems good. The main building can get cramped, but the annex is spacious and cozy, perfect for a solo female diner at the counter.

I left Nerima Station and headed towards Mejiro Street. Along the narrow street, there are various eateries, and this restaurant is among them. It was early evening when I visited. It's an affordable izakaya where you can drink, but the main building was full, so I was directed to a separate building. I was seated at a table by the window. I started with a draft beer. It was refreshing after a short walk. I ordered grilled pork tongue, yakitori, and simmered dish. The grilled pork tongue was rich and delicious, especially my favorite heart. The yakitori was negima (chicken thigh with leek skewers). I also ordered shiitake mushrooms. As I enjoyed my second beer, the grilled pork tongue arrived. It paired well with the beer. After two beers, I ordered a Hoppy (a low-malt beer-like beverage). Hoppy goes well with grilled pork tongue. While enjoying the Hoppy, the simmered dish was served. It had a large block of tofu in the middle with tripe. I savored the tripe and tofu with the Hoppy. The Hoppy with shochu had a generous amount, which was pleasing. I had two refills of the Hoppy, and even on the third glass, there was enough to enjoy. Drinking and eating cost around 3000 yen per person, quite reasonable. I look forward to trying their lunch menu next time.

There are several narrow streets leading from the south exit of Nerima Station towards Mejiro Street, and this restaurant is located on one of those streets. It was Sunday evening when I headed to the main store where I had been a few times before, but it was already full. Since the closing time is early, there were many people drinking early. I was guided to the annex. It was my first time at the annex, and since there were no customers yet, I sat at a table in the back by the window. I started with a cold draft beer. I looked at the menu while enjoying the chilled beer. I decided to go with yakitori - heart, liver, and tongue, all seasoned with salt. I also ordered ham cabbage, but unfortunately, it was sold out that day. It's a simple dish that goes well with beer, so I was disappointed. I also ordered pickled Chinese cabbage and chilled tomatoes. When I finished my first beer, the yakitori arrived. I ordered a second beer and enjoyed the yakitori. Starting with the heart, I enjoyed the distinctive flavor and texture. The heart was definitely my favorite with salt seasoning. I took breaks in between to eat pickles and tomatoes for a refreshing taste. After finishing my second beer, I switched to Hoppy. I continued with the liver and tongue yakitori, and also ordered chicken karaage. I had two refills of Hoppy, finished the yakitori, and switched to a shochu highball. I enjoyed a refreshing shochu highball while eating the chicken karaage. Finally, I had a lemon sour to finish off the meal. All of this came to around 3000 yen, which was quite reasonable.

Located in the area with a cluster of restaurants and bars near the south exit of Nerima Station, this izakaya specializes in grilled pork dishes. I visited on a weekend afternoon and the main branch was crowded, so I opted for this adjacent branch which was less busy. I ordered the grilled pork belly and it was served without much explanation, but both options were decent. I also ordered the special simmered tofu with motsu (offal) which was served promptly and had a generous amount of ingredients. I added the crispy fried white fish with tartar sauce, which was freshly fried and delicious. The tartar sauce with plenty of egg was especially tasty. The grilled chicken tenderloin and breast with wasabi were a bit tough for my liking. The minced cutlet was crispy and seemed to be a popular choice at this restaurant. I enjoyed a beer followed by a frozen lemon sour, which was a refreshing choice. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience with a focus on fried dishes.

I initially headed to a noodle shop by mistake. I realized they didn't have yakitori, so I searched and found my way to the main building where I was asked if I preferred the non-smoking floor and was guided to what I believe was this place. I sat at the counter where I could directly order from the grill chef. I ordered about 10 skewers of yakitori and yakiton while waiting with cucumber salad. The wasabi with the chicken breast skewers was quite spicy. When the grilled rice ball I ordered didn't arrive, I asked about it and was told, "We will prepare it now." As an apology, a plate of Changja was offered, but I didn't particularly want it, so I declined. The grilled rice ball had bonito flakes on top, making it fragrant.

Springtaya has been around in Nerima for a long time, but it has been renovated and looks very clean now. They offer a wide variety of yakitori and yakiton, which are delicious when freshly grilled. There is also a great selection of alcohol available. The chicken meatballs were large and satisfying. It seems like the main store also serves oden, so I would like to visit the main store as well.
