This is a ramen shop located in Yokocho at Yaechika in Tokyo. You buy a meal ticket from a vending machine before entering. First, you choose the soup. I chose the safe option of soy sauce tonkotsu. Then, I selected a regular size ramen (780 yen) and a side of rice (100 yen). Once seated, they asked about noodle firmness and soup richness, but since I wasn't sure, I just asked for everything to be normal. After about 5 minutes of waiting, the ramen was served. I took a sip of the soup and had a bite of rice. It was delicious. Next, I placed the spinach, a characteristic of house-style ramen, on top of the rice and ate it. It was quite tasty. Furthermore, I wrapped the rice in seaweed soaked in the soup and ate it. This was amazing. I finished with the ramen. The noodles were thick but had a smooth texture, which paired well with the salty soup. The portion was a bit too much for me, so I thought maybe next time I could go for a set with half the noodles. It's interesting how you can now have house-style ramen at Tokyo Station.

I stopped by this place on a business trip and found the taste to be stable and well-balanced. I had the impression that tonkotsu ramen was too salty, but this one was just right. The ingredients were delicious too. It wasn't exceptionally amazing, but it was good. The fried rice was fluffy, giving off a home-cooked vibe. The portions were generous, and I left feeling satisfied.

I heard that this weekend is the monthly triple points day, so I stopped by before riding the Shinkansen. There was no mention of a rice service, so I ordered a large portion. I like my noodles on the firmer side. It was quickly served, and I added some chopped ginger and onions for a healthy touch. The flavor was a bit strong, but the onions and ginger made it healthier. The noodles were delicious with a firmer texture, and the spinach added a nice touch. The three sheets of seaweed were always a nice addition. The small portion of char siu was just right. I finished my meal and drink in no time and got the points! Thank you for the meal!

Machida Shouten. A well-known name with a reputation for being from the Yokohama ramen family. There seems to be mixed reviews from ramen enthusiasts online. Despite that, I decided to visit during the busy lunch hour. I ordered the gyoza set with an additional topping of two slices of chashu. The counter had a variety of condiments like ginger and garlic. The gyoza arrived first, with crispy skin and tasty filling. I mistakenly thought rice was included for free, but it was actually 100 yen extra. I ordered it anyway, but the way the rice was served was sloppy. Next, the ramen arrived. It seemed a bit messy, with the nori mostly submerged in the soup. I asked for the noodles to be firm, but they were not as expected. The soup also had a somewhat blurry taste. The staff inside the restaurant had loud and energetic voices. They greeted me when I entered, but there was no farewell when I left. Overall, it's worth a visit, but there are some areas that could be improved.

Today's weather forecast is still over 30 degrees, but the office is freezing with the air conditioning set at 28℃. It's so cold! In times like this, warm ramen is the best choice. Today, I added fried rice as well. ^_^ Chopped onions and ginger in a rich broth make for the perfect combination.

When I first visited the newly opened store, I was disappointed by the poor operation, so I thought I wouldn't come back. However, I decided to give it another chance with a friend who wanted to eat ramen. Although the service was slow, they got our orders right and we were grateful for that. We were surprised by the generous portion of rice when we ordered the large size. They also provided condiments like spicy sauce, chopped ginger, and garlic on the table for the gyoza. We were impressed by the fact that they offered a free drink ticket if you finished your soup.

I visited for lunch on a regular day. There were 3 of us, so we had to wait a bit, but we were seated relatively quickly. I ordered the soy sauce pork bone ramen with seasoned egg. You can choose the firmness of the noodles, the richness of the soup, and the amount of oil, and this time I chose firm, normal, normal. It took about 5 minutes from seating to serving. I thought the bowl was small and the portion was small, but it might be just right for women. First, the soup. It had a rich pork bone flavor with a sharp soy sauce kick, perfectly balanced. I had never tried this style before, but I really like it! The firm noodles were a good choice! The thick noodles had a satisfying chewiness. If they were a bit softer, they might lose some of their uniqueness. Well, it's just a matter of preference. I should have ordered more spinach. I want to eat it again!

I think that's just how it is, but the staff's voices are loud... I was sitting at the counter seat in front of the kitchen, and the staff next to me was talking loudly with the kitchen staff, which was distracting. The food is delicious. I have loved Machida Shoten since it was only in Machida, so I hope next time I can sit in a different seat...

After a long time, I tried a slightly richer ramen at Tokyo Ramen Yokocho. It had a home-style ramen feel with free toppings like finely chopped onions and shredded ginger, which added a nice accent and made me savor the soup until the last drop. It's dangerously addictive and highly recommended!

I went out and got back late at night, so I decided to grab something to eat at Tokyo Station during my transfer. I initially thought about getting something at Ramen Street, but even though it was 9 pm, the place was packed with tourists from overseas, and there were long lines everywhere. I couldn't be bothered to wait in line, so I said, "Forget it, let's go to Yaesu!" and ended up at Ramen Yokocho (Ramen Alley) instead. It seems like they have multiple branches of this chain. I was hungry and craving something greasy, so I ordered the Ramen and Half Fried Rice Set. The Negi Ramen and Fried Rice were quite oily but tasty. The Ramen wasn't bad either. It was a bit warm inside, probably because it's closer to the exit and the air conditioning wasn't working well, but it was open late, which was very convenient. If Ramen Street is too crowded, I recommend trying Ramen Yokocho for a late-night meal!

I felt like eating a hearty ramen to get rid of my hangover, so I decided to visit this ramen shop for the fifth time. I ordered the fried rice set for 1,100 yen, which was a good deal. A young and energetic female staff member guided me to my seat and provided me with a paper apron. The ramen and fried rice were decent in taste, nothing extraordinary, but the clean interior of the restaurant left a good impression on me. I wouldn't wait in line to eat here, but if it's not too crowded, I might come back again.

Located in Yaesu Underground Shopping Street, this ramen shop specializes in tonkotsu (pork bone broth) ramen. The special fried rice set comes out first! The fried rice is moist and flavorful, while the ramen features medium-thick noodles with a chewy texture that pairs well with the pork bone broth soup. The quail egg is a nice touch! It was delicious!

I have been to Maruda Shouten in Shinjuku many times, it's one of my favorite ramen shops. I found out they also have a branch at Tokyo Station! So, before catching the train back home, I decided to stop by. However, when I looked at the menu on the ticket machine, there were so many options. Salt, soy sauce, various sides. I felt like the Shinjuku branch didn't have soy sauce or salt on their menu. With limited time before my train departure, I started to feel anxious. I asked the staff which one is closer to the taste of the Shinjuku branch, and they said soy sauce. So, I ordered soy sauce ramen with extra green onions and seasoned egg. I chose regular noodles, regular flavor, and less oil. The taste was good, but just average. I still prefer the one at Maruda Shouten in Shinjuku, it's much more delicious. I couldn't resist and ended up finishing all the soup. I was in a rush, so I ended up sweating while devouring the noodles.

I visited around 11:30 for lunch. I went to a family ramen shop in the Ramen Yokocho in Yaesu Underground Mall. I purchased a ramen and gyoza set for 1,100 yen at the ticket machine and then entered the shop. I ordered the ramen with firm noodles, strong flavor, and extra oil. I thought it would have a more impactful taste, but it was surprisingly light. The noodles were shorter than expected. The gyoza was delicious. I enjoyed my meal today as well.

I arrived at a ramen shop in Tokyo Station's Ramen Alley around 11:30 on a weekday, and although the seats were almost full, I was able to buy a meal ticket and sit down right away. The ramen arrived in about 5 minutes, and I took a sip of the soup first. I have had it before, and the rich soup was still delicious. There are not many places where you can eat salt tonkotsu soup, so I find this shop very useful. The noodles were of the typical chewy type, with a good texture and a strong wheat aroma that complemented the rich soup well. The seasoned soft-boiled egg topping was just right for me, and the spinach, a characteristic of this style of ramen, added a nice touch. Overall, it was a satisfying bowl. If I had to say something, it would be great if they offered rice for free with the ramen. I will definitely go back again.

I went on a Saturday afternoon and it was surprisingly not crowded, so I purchased a meal ticket and took a seat. I added extra toppings like green onions and Chinese spinach to the all-in ramen. Of course, I also ordered the rice that is a must for a home-style ramen. It was a good decision to make the flavor a bit stronger. Since I added quite a lot of vegetables, it might have felt a bit bland otherwise. The soup was quite mild in flavor, which is probably normal.

I tried a ramen shop that looked good with thick noodles among the crowded ramen shops. It was decently delicious. The service was also quick. The shop's location is a bit on the edge of the alley, so it wasn't too noisy and easy to use. The extra chashu was quite thin. It wasn't too heavy.

I came to Tokyo Ramen Alley for lunch and was planning to try a new restaurant I haven't been to before, but ended up revisiting my favorite place. I guess I'm addicted to the tonkotsu style ramen. I had the usual with a seasoned egg and rice. Tonkotsu ramen definitely goes well with rice. Thank you for the meal.

Stable family-run ramen shop. I ordered soy sauce tonkotsu ramen with a side of small rice. It was lunchtime so there was a bit of a line. The broth had a good oiliness to it, with a clear layer about 1 centimeter thick that didn't feel too heavy. The free toppings typical of a family-run shop (like onions and pickles) were satisfying. It was a well-balanced bowl of ramen.

In a world where prices are rising everywhere, it's amazing to find this price in expensive Tokyo!! Nowadays, even ramen costs 800 or 850 yen. The taste was delicious, just like a typical house-style ramen. I actually tried to go to a different restaurant, but couldn't find it (cries).

I went from Tokyo Station to Yaechika and had MAX Ramen at Machida Shoten in Tokyo Ramen Yokocho. The soy sauce tonkotsu soup was not too heavy, and it tasted delicious with the chopped onions added halfway through. The staff were cheerful and very kind.
