On this day, I had work in Higashinihonbashi and on my way back to Kanda, I decided to have lunch in either Bakurocho or Kodenmacho. I hadn't decided on a restaurant yet, so I wandered around the area from Bakuro-Yokoyama Station. I ended up in front of this restaurant. I realized that I hadn't had Korean food recently, so I decided to take a look at the menu. The lunch menu featured "Our Cold Noodles" as the top item. There were also set meals, bibimbap, jjigae, and a half set of bibimbap and cold noodles. The prices ranged from 950 yen to around 1,000 yen on average. Considering the location, I thought it was reasonable. I decided on the stone bibimbap and cold noodles half set (1,000 yen) and went inside. It was almost 2 PM, but the restaurant was bustling with customers, mostly women. The interior had a vibe reminiscent of a street stall. I sat at a vacant table and placed my order. I was told that I could choose between Korean-style thin noodles or Morioka-style thick noodles for the cold noodles, so I opted for the Korean-style thin noodles. There was a notice on the table stating that only cashless payments were accepted. I had started using PayPay a year ago, so I was relieved, but if it had been before that, I would have been surprised. After a while, the sizzling stone bibimbap and cold noodles were served. The meal also came with salad and Korean seaweed. The sizzling bibimbap was made with meat and four kinds of namul. I mixed it well and found the seasoning of the meat to be delicious. And then there was the burnt rice. I'm not a fan of that (*_*). The toppings for the cold noodles included chicken, cucumber, apple, kimchi, and half a boiled egg. The soup had a gentle and tasty flavor. The noodles were dark thin noodles, probably Pyongyang-style cold noodles. Cold noodles are just so delicious. When I was younger, I used to always order yukgaejang or sundubu whenever I went to a Korean restaurant, but nowadays, I prefer cold noodles. After finishing the bibimbap and cold noodles, I crunched on the Korean seaweed. The salad was also included, and for 1,000 yen, the value for money was reasonable. As I was about to leave, I got disoriented and wandered around. That's when I spotted the second branch of this restaurant nearby. If I have the chance, I would like to visit the second branch as well. Thank you for the meal.
