Located a 4-5 minute walk from Jimbocho Station on the Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo. ★First visit in February 2023★ This restaurant is situated on a corner just off Shirayama Street. As soon as you turn from the main street, you can easily spot it. Speaking of the characteristics of Jimbocho, it is a town with many famous universities, a row of secondhand bookstores, a curry battleground, and a cafe battleground!! I wanted to visit this town, so I decided to visit this favorite restaurant of mine. I entered on a weekday (Wednesday) at 16:05. There were no customers when I arrived, but 8 customers came in after me. The L-shaped interior mainly consists of table seats, but there are also counter seats available. There is a refrigerator in front of the counter seats with rare sake and hidden sake not listed on the menu. I was very happy to see a women's restroom. The staff kindly said, "You can sit anywhere you like," so I chose a round high table seat. It's just the right size for one person, but it might be a bit cramped for two people since there are only two chairs. Takachiyo AIMACHI Junmai Ginjo Aiyama x Omachi ★★★★★ 340 yen (excluding tax) Aiyama and Omachi are always a safe bet!! I have no idea (laughs) The sake meter value is ±0, but I felt fruity with a hint of sweetness. It was very easy to drink with a refreshing finish and very delicious. I tried Takachiyo for the first time. The hiragana "Takachiyo" is popular and considered a rare sake. I would like to try that one too!! Tenmei Junmai Daiginjo Yamada Nishiki x Fukunoka Fire Heating ★★★★ 370 yen (excluding tax) Sake from Fukushima♪ The sake meter value is -4, so it should be sweet, but it wasn't as sweet as Takachiyo. However, it was refreshing and delicious. Tenbi Junmai Ginjo Lightly Cloudy Fresh Sake ★★★★★ 430 yen (excluding tax) It seems to be the most popular among the Tenbi series! I generally prefer lightly cloudy sake, and this one definitely lives up to its reputation as the most popular! It was fruity with a gentle mouthfeel, making me want more with each sip! I will look for a liquor store to buy it! White Shrimp Tempura ★★★★★ 490 yen (excluding tax) Real shrimp senbei!! I couldn't stop eating this addictive shrimp senbei!! It was even better than regular shrimp senbei! Soft and gently seasoned with salt, delicious~ Lotus Root Sandwich Tempura ★★★★ 690 yen (excluding tax) What is sandwiched in it? Some kind of paste? The taste was similar to tuna (laughs) (Coupon used) Rare Delicacies Assortment ★★★★★ Engawa Chanja, Ume Suisho, Wasabi-pickled Clam I love all of these! As a member of the app, there is an additional admission fee of 430 yen. Non-members pay an additional 100 yen. Whether this is expensive or cheap depends on the individual! Today, I didn't try it, but rare sakes such as Juyondai, Eikun, Shinsei, and Hitoriki are available at a great cost-performance ratio, so personally, I feel that the admission fee is cheap. I would like to visit other branches as well. That's how I feel these days!!
