I feel like I saw it on TV before... When I passed by the raptor cafe, I was drawn in without realizing it. I used to have pet birds like parrots, cockatoos, finches, canaries, and golden pheasants, but I've only encountered owls once. Here, you can see owls that you may only see once in a lifetime all in one place. There must be around 60 of them! The owl standing next to me looked like a figurine at first, but it was alive! It costs 1500 yen for a drink and entrance fee, which I think is a reasonable price to care for this many birds.

★4.0 [FILE 3509] On June 17, 2018 (Sun) at 15:13, I visited the Owl Cafe that opened three months ago in March 2018, after relocating from Roppongi, on the first floor of the ST Building in Yanaka, just off of Funensuido Street. Next to it is Bistro Tom. The interior of the cafe has a calm atmosphere with a wood-based theme. There are a total of 20 seats, with 2 seats x 10 tables on the right side upon entering. During my visit, around 20% of the seats were occupied. Even afterwards, the cafe remained relatively empty with about 20% of the seats filled. The clientele consists of 60% women and 40% men. The service is provided by 2 female staff members and 1 male staff member who are attentive. The menu offers a Free Time option for 1500 yen (includes 1 drink). In the cafe, there are a total of 116 birds, including 87 owls, 17 parrots, 2 magic doves, 1 toucan, 8 hedgehogs, and 1 skunk. I ordered the Free Time option for 1500 yen. Two minutes after ordering, an iced cafe au lait was served. The drink, an iced cafe au lait, was delicious. Upon entering, there is a large area on the left side where many large owls are gathered behind a glass partition. There are also small owls in the back room and next to the table seats. You can interact with 87 owls for an unlimited amount of time. The cafe provides a fun experience where you can interact with 87 owls for 1500 yen during Free Time.
