5.6 minutes walk from Suidobashi Station. Inside Tokyo Dome City, there is a food court! Saw the words "ultimate oyakodon" and decided immediately!! Ordered the ultimate sansho oyakodon! It was ready in 7.8 minutes. Hmmmmmmmm!!!!!!!!!

At the food court in Dome City, I was considering getting the hearty cheese karaage, but decided on the classic dish, oyakodon, for the sake of my health. It was delicious, but considering it cost 1000 yen, I felt it was a bit lacking. The portion size wasn't large, so I think they are focusing more on the taste. I haven't had oyakodon that left a strong impression on me before, so maybe my expectations for oyakodon are limited (bitter smile).

I arrived at Tokyo Dome for a professional baseball game and was running late, so I decided to stop by the donburi restaurant in Tokyo Dome City. The sign advertised the ultimate oyakodon with creamy eggs, which caught my attention. I decided to order the most popular oyakodon. It was topped with a generous amount of sweet sauce and eggs, with a runny yolk on top. I finished it in no time. It was delicious!

✳️ Chicken-flavored YATAI@Korakuen Go Fan is a shop located inside a food court. I had the ultimate oyakodon, which was served quickly. It was luxurious with a generous amount of egg and chicken topping, and the chicken was tender and large. The dashi broth was rich in flavor. Overall, I think it is a very delicious oyakodon that you can enjoy in a food court!

A short summer vacation record of a mediocre dad. Day 1 of visiting kids' play areas in Tokyo. After playing all day in Korakuen, my eldest daughter requested omurice for dinner, so we ended up at the food court again. I was planning to try the special menu at Korakuen Hanten, but oh well, it's inevitable when you have two kids. The omurice had a runny egg but was a bit oily. The chicken rice lacked flavor but was okay. Ketchup helped with that. My daughter wasn't too impressed. I went for the parent and child bowl, which had a runny egg as well. The chicken had a typical broiled taste and was decent. It took a bit of time to be served since they make it fresh in the restaurant. Overall, Marugame is the best (laughs).

I played at Tokyo Dome City and went to the food court Go Fun for an early lunch two days in a row. It's convenient for families with children as there is an area right inside that is easy to use. The tables and chairs are low, making it easy for children to use without needing a kids' chair. I tried the ultimate parent and child bowl from Tori Ajiza YATAI. It had a very colorful raw egg on top. The chicken was tender, and it tasted delicious when mixed with the soft egg. The egg white soup also had a rich chicken flavor and was delicious. Thank you for the meal!

Located right outside the A5 exit of the Toei Subway Mita Line Suidobashi Station, this shop in Tokyo Dome City, called "Go-Fun," is a branch of a chicken dish restaurant originally based in Aoyama. It opened in 2020 as a food court concept with a stylish black and red design. The menu includes the "Ultimate Oyakodon" as well as dishes like "Karaage Oyakodon" and "Chicken Nanban Teishoku." The "Karaage Oyakodon" features juicy karaage (Japanese fried chicken) topped with a fluffy and savory egg mixture on a bed of rice. The karaage absorbs the broth, enhancing its flavor, and the soft and creamy egg is delicious. It's a convenient and satisfying bowl lunch option.

I came to the food court "Go-Fun" after a long time because I wanted to get a ticket for the eco bag giveaway campaign. It seems like many new shops have opened in the past two years, and I don't remember which ones closed down. I chose to eat at "YATAI Chicken Aji-za," which specializes in parent and child rice bowls. It seems to have several locations in Tokyo, Kanagawa, and Chiba. Even though it's a weekday, there are many families here. There are various family scenes, including a mother scolding her young child, which I'd rather not see.
I ordered the "Ultimate Parent and Child Rice Bowl" for ¥990. The first thing that catches your eye is the bright orange raw egg. It reminds me of the egg specialty store in Sengoku. The thick egg yolk is flavorful, and the rice tastes delicious. The chicken is grilled over charcoal and simmered in their original sauce. The sauce complements the rice and raw egg well. The chicken is tender, but the meat texture seems a bit unclear. It feels like they rely too much on the raw egg and sauce. The egg is the highlight of this bowl. It's called the ultimate parent and child rice bowl, but the balance seems to be more in favor of the child. The family and the bowl both want to aim for the ultimate parent and child relationship.
The price is a bit high, maybe because of the location, but it feels expensive. I wish they would improve a bit more. Unfortunately, the eco bag ticket distribution has ended as they have already distributed the planned number of tickets. What did I come here for again? Oh, right, to eat the raw egg. Thank you for the meal.

(Visited in early June 2021) The name of the restaurant is pronounced as "Torimikura." It was a hot day, but it looked like it wasn't going to rain, so I headed to the north side of Suidobashi Station. I was originally aiming for a cafe lunch, but unfortunately, the traffic light on Hakusan Street had just changed. So, I decided to visit the food court at Tokyo Dome, called Go Fan. There were about half of the seats available, so I chose to eat here on this day. There are 5 shops in the food court, and the one I visited that day was a restaurant specializing in oyakodon (chicken and egg rice bowl). The main store is located in Aoyama. I chose the "Ultimate Oyakodon Hinadori" for 990 yen. They accept cashless payments, so I paid with PayPay. After about 4 minutes, the buzzer rang and I picked up my tray. When I opened the lid, I saw a completely soft and fluffy egg with a very rich orange egg yolk in the middle. I tried it right away. It only had egg and chicken, with no green onions or other toppings. However, the sauce was quite sweet, which may not suit everyone's taste. It was also quite saucy, so I didn't need to use chopsticks. When I tried a bite of the chicken, it was chicken breast, soft but lacking a bit in flavor. I picked up a small piece, which turned out to be chicken thigh, but it was quite small. Considering the price, I felt that the amount of meat was a bit lacking for the so-called "ultimate" oyakodon. I finished quickly and left the food court. By the way, the most popular shop in this food court was Marugame Seimen (udon noodle shop).

Along White Mountain Street is the food court GO-FUN in Tokyo Dome City. It houses six stores including Marugame Seimen, Korean Bimbimbap, Tori Ajisa YATAI, Setagaya, Bikkuri Donkey, and Mother Farm CAFE. Tori Ajisa YATAI is located almost in the center. It opened in March 2020! Tori Ajisa has other branches in Aoyama, DiverCity Tokyo Plaza, Kyobashi Edogrand, Kawasaki Azalea, and Kashiwa Takashimaya Station Mall. The "YATAI" part is unique to this branch. They offer over 10 chicken-based dishes including their most popular Ultimate Oyakodon (990 yen), although it is a bit pricey. For a more affordable option, they also have Karaage Oyakodon (790 yen). After some contemplation, I decided to try the popular Ultimate Oyakodon (990 yen). After waiting for about 5 minutes at a nearby table, the buzzer rang! I went to pick up my tray and enjoyed my meal at the counter seat along White Mountain Street. The chicken soup with beaten egg was light with a subtle chicken flavor. Upon opening the bowl, the orange egg yolk shone brightly in the center! I broke the egg yolk and savored its creamy texture. The egg was perfectly soft and fluffy. The broth had a mild and gentle taste. The chicken seemed to be pre-cooked as it lacked a strong grilled flavor. I enjoyed the Ultimate Oyakodon in this bustling family-friendly food court.

On this clear day, I took a walk to the dome's food court. The place where Hot Spoon used to be has now been replaced by a restaurant specializing in parent-child bowls. I decided to try it out for the first time and chose the ultimate parent-child bowl, which is the most popular item on the menu. The female staff member who served me was friendly and had a good atmosphere. I paid with Edy, an electronic money service, and waited about 7 minutes for my order. When the buzzer rang, I picked up my meal at the counter. When I opened the lid at my table, a beautifully presented parent-child bowl appeared. I started by eating the meat and egg first, then mixed in the rice and broke the yolk on top as I continued. The Tokyo shamo chicken had a nice texture and was quite delicious. However, the sauce was too sweet for my liking, and I quickly got tired of it. I wish it had been a bit saltier. I was satisfied with the Tokyo shamo, but personally found the taste a bit disappointing. The price of 1,290 yen was a bit high, so I think it could have been a bit cheaper.

I visited the restaurant "鶏味座YATAI" located in the food court GO-FUN in Tokyo Dome City Attractions area for the first time during lunchtime in early August. First, I placed my order and paid at the ordering counter. On this day, I ordered the "Ultimate Oyakodon (Tokyo Shamo)" (1290 yen) with soup. After paying, I received a buzzer and moved to any available seat in the food court, which has 300 seats. Although I mentioned 300 seats, currently it may not be that many due to social distancing measures. It was crowded with families on holiday, but luckily there was a two-person table available where I sat. After a short wait, the buzzer rang and I received the Oyakodon on a tray. I opened the lid of the bowl to reveal the beautiful appearance of the Oyakodon with a shining raw egg in the center. The soup was a chicken broth egg soup. I tried it right away and the chicken was tender with a nice crispy texture and a fragrant flavor. The sauce was slightly sweet, suitable for both adults and children. The egg was fluffy and delicious. The price was reasonable, and it was satisfying to enjoy such quality Oyakodon in a food court. I finished it soon. Thank you for the meal.

The Oyakodon costs 1100 yen. The taste is certainly delicious, but I felt the price was high. If it were a bit cheaper, I think it would be a more attractive option. There is a Marugame nearby where there is always a long line, so I believe the price is a drawback.
