I was invited by a friend to a popular yakiniku restaurant located northeast of Umeda, and it was packed even on a weekday. We enjoyed kimchi and namul assortments, dried sweet shrimp with beer, premium sliced tongue, seared fresh liver, and a chef's choice of lean meat assortment. The highlight was the Miyazaki Wagyu harami steak, which was cooked by the staff and flamed with whiskey. We finished the meal with wakame soup and rich desserts of matcha & milk and chocolate ice cream. The attentive service from the beautiful manager added to the wonderful dining experience. I visited for the first time. I went to eat the famous grilled harami. I made a reservation before going, but it seemed like you could enter without a reservation. I ordered the famous grilled harami and also ordered tantan, as well as some hormone. The tantan came out as a lump and you have to grill it yourself and cut it with scissors to eat (^O^) This was quite delicious. After that, I ordered the lean yukke-style and fresh seared liver. The grilled harami is cooked by the staff when you call them over to your table (^O^) The harami starts at 350g, so I ordered 350g for starters. After it's cooked, it is taken back to the kitchen to be sliced and then brought back to you. The taste is delicious, but it's a bit disappointing that it cools down quickly and you can't eat it while it's still hot (^◇^;) The restaurant is clean, and the staff's service was polite and pleasant. The taste was not bad, but considering the price, I thought there might be a better value for money elsewhere. However, I had a pleasant dining experience with good service from start to finish! Located in a hidden gem yakiniku restaurant, you can enjoy a refined sweetness and umami of A5 rank wagyu beef selected from all over Japan for lunch. In the same building, there is the popular udon restaurant "Udon-ya Kisuuke". - Specialty "Goku Nikura Don" for 2900 yen: A luxurious bowl with Miyazaki beef loin on top of shiny white rice, topped with plenty of Hokkaido ikura. It looks amazing when you open the lid. - Special selection Harami set meal for 1800 yen: Rare black wagyu harami sourced through a unique route by Ichi. It is tender with a rich umami flavor. You can also enjoy it for dinner at 2800 yen. They serve premium malt beer and black oolong tea. They offer a variety of salts for the yakiniku. Lunch time is until 3 pm (last order at 2:30 pm). The interior is spacious with counter seats and table seats. Smoking is allowed in private rooms. I visited a popular lunch spot in Nakazaki-cho where there is a yakiniku restaurant called "Ichisan" next to the famous soba restaurant "Matsushita" and the renowned udon restaurant "Kisuke" nearby. I arrived a bit late but was able to enter smoothly. I ordered the "Special Harami Set with Extra Meat" for 2800 yen and the "Signature Gokunidon" for 2900 yen. The harami was delicious with a rich flavor, and the on-the-rice option was a nice touch. The meal also came with Korean seaweed, salad, kimchi, and soup, making it a generous portion. The Gokunidon was a luxurious dish featuring Miyazaki beef sirloin topped with Hokkaido salmon roe, creating a delightful combination of textures and flavors. The recommended lean red meat platter had delicious taste and good value for money. It was enjoyable to try out various salts and wasabi for flavor variation. The chilled vinegar noodles with sudachi at the end had a refreshing taste and were amazing when eaten together with sudachi. The staff kindly responded to the comments made in the email reservation by calling in advance, and even when the number of people increased suddenly on the day of the reservation, they accommodated us graciously. I visited this restaurant for lunch. I arrived around 12 o'clock and it was already crowded, seems like a very popular place. As soon as I entered, they asked if I had a reservation. It's so popular that even for lunch, a reservation might be necessary. I didn't have a reservation but luckily managed to get a table. The restaurant has 10 counter seats, 4 table seats, and 1 private room. The place was completely full, everyone seems to want to have lunchtime yakiniku, haha. I ordered the famous Gyoku Nikura Donburi (with salad) for 2,900 yen and the Special Harami Set with extra meat for 2,800 yen. Rice is free for seconds or larger portions. The Gyoku Nikura Donburi was made with Miyazaki beef sirloin and Hokkaido salmon roe, topped with the restaurant's homemade sauce. The meat was incredibly tender and melted in my mouth, while the salmon roe provided a nice texture. It was so delicious. The Harami was also flavorful and of high quality. I was really satisfied with the meal. It's no wonder this place is so popular. Even after I finished, reservations kept coming in and customers kept coming. Amazing! I wanted to try the Tan Stew for 500 yen, but unfortunately, it was sold out at that time. Maybe next time for dinner? I'm looking forward to it. I definitely want to come back for yakiniku at night!

I really wanted to eat cold noodles, so I came here. I have never tried the barbecue at this place, I'm sorry. The only cold noodles available here is kabosu cold noodles. Impressions of the cold noodles: The noodles are to my liking! They are translucent and smooth. They are delicious. However, there is only kabosu as an ingredient in the cold noodles. I wish there were more toppings. Also, I wish they had vinegar on the table.

In Nakazaki-cho, there is a popular restaurant among food enthusiasts called "Yakiniku Ichi." They serve a lunch dish called "Goku Nikuradon," which consists of A5-ranked black wagyu beef loin topped with Hokkaido salmon roe. Even without tasting it, you can tell it's delicious, but once you try it, the taste is mind-blowing! The beef loin, seared quickly with homemade sauce, melts in your mouth, and the salmon roe bursting with umami flavor complements it perfectly. The rice is incredibly addictive, and the tsukudani served as an accent is also excellent. I devoured the dish in no time as it was so delicious. I also tried a bit of the "Special Harami Set Meal (extra meat)" that my companion ordered, and it was also incredibly tasty. Having these dishes for lunch is a luxurious experience. The Goku Nikuradon costs 2900 yen, and the Harami set meal with extra meat costs 2800 yen, which may seem a bit pricey for lunch, but if you can have such a luxurious experience, it's totally worth it. I would love to go back and try their regular yakiniku menu for dinner.

All the meats were carefully arranged, and the kimchi with nagaimo and lotus root was incredibly delicious! We finished with sudachi cold noodles! They have a wide variety of sake, so definitely recommended for sake lovers! I heard they also offer blankets if you mention that you're feeling cold!

A yakiniku restaurant located about a 10-minute walk from Umeda towards Nakazakicho. Next to it is a personal favorite, soba restaurant Matsushita. In conclusion, the meat is all delicious! The prices are not cheap, but not expensive either. The quality is solid and worth the price. Even the cheaper cuts like tongue, harami, and kalbi are cooked well and taste delicious. The cold noodles at the end are refreshing with plenty of sudachi, perfect for the season. It's a delicious restaurant worth revisiting.

I finally visited Yakiniku Ichi in Naka-Zakacho, Osaka for the first time!!! I've been wanting to go there after seeing it a lot on Instagram! It's about a 7-8 minute walk from Naka-Zakacho Station! It might take a little longer from Umeda Station? The restaurant is located between Naka-Zakacho and Umeda! The menu I ordered today was the Special Harami Set with extra meat for 2600 yen, and the Nikura Don for 2900 yen. It seems like I can order dinner menu items even during lunch hours at Ichi! But this time, I decided to try the lunch menu since I was there. About 15 minutes after placing my order, my food arrived... Wow!!! Nikura Don!!! Harami!!! Looks so delicious!!! The extra meat made it very filling! The Nikura Don had slightly rare beef piled on top with popping ikura! It's definitely going to be delicious!!! The flavor was light and the broth was well-seasoned. The rice was very easy to eat and there was plenty of it, but this was just a regular portion. It said you could also get a large portion, but the regular size was more than enough. For men, the large portion might be enough to fill you up? The Special Harami Set was thick and juicy! It came with salad, Korean seaweed, kimchi, soup, and rice for only 2600 yen??? Isn't that cheap??? My partner even got a rice refill ^_^ haha There were plenty of salt and sauce on the table, but I used the sauce this time. I made a reservation with about 5,000 yen for three drinks included. I was surprised to see many groups of two female customers. It's a restaurant where meat-loving girls gather. I was satisfied with all the carefully and beautifully cooked meat. I forgot the name, but there were about three types of meat that impressed me. It's a great restaurant.

I had made a reservation at Nisaki-cho Ichiban and was eager to try their specialty dish, the "Nikura Don" which is a wonderful fusion of meat and ikura (salmon roe). Despite mixed reviews, I decided to go and it was the right choice. The restaurant was clean and welcoming, suitable for women, families, and couples. The restroom even had a sink where I could brush my teeth (which was convenient for me as I am currently undergoing orthodontic treatment). I ordered the following items: - Specialty "Goku Nikura Don" for 2900 yen with a cola (I was working) - Special Harami Set with extra meat for 2800 yen and a Yamazaki Highball (not on the menu but recommended by the staff) The special Harami was amazing, with its thickness and quality of meat. I enjoyed it with four different salts - truffle salt, dashi salt, Sicilian rock salt, and wine salt. The dashi salt was my favorite. The rice served was exceptional, made from Shimane-grown Koshihikari rice. Finally, the awaited Uni Nikura Don arrived, made with Saga beef and Hokkaido ikura. The attention to detail in both the meat and rice was evident, even in the cucumber side dish and shiso leaf. I felt a sense of happiness from the care put into every aspect of the meal. While it may be pricier than a typical lunch, the satisfaction and joy I experienced made it worth it. Thank you for the wonderful meal!

I went out for lunch. The taste was indeed delicious as the reviews said. The staff were as mentioned, some were friendly and some not so much, haha. The interior of the restaurant had a slightly flashy feel, but overall it was clean and tidy. I will definitely go back. The photo is of the special Harami set meal with extra meat.
