Located in "WK2" directly connected to Tokyo Station, it opens from 8 am, making it highly recommended for a leisurely morning activity or a quick stop before catching the Shinkansen.
Directions
Upon exiting the train, head towards the Marunouchi Underground Central Exit on the 1st basement floor, where the Yamanote Line and Marunouchi Line platforms are located. Take the escalator down, and you'll find the ticket gate in front of you. Turn left (towards Marunouchi South Exit M1-M3) and proceed straight ahead. Remember to keep in mind "B1" as it can be confusing!
The space features a bar counter and table seating, with a casual atmosphere reminiscent of "Pronto," suitable for both men and women of all ages, even if dining alone. This time, I ordered various recommended items suggested by the staff. The 8 types of beer (available in sizes S, M, L) and coffee are recommended. The "Coffee Pudding," larger than a curry spoon, had a strong coffee flavor that was truly impressive. It was cute with ice cream shaped like a snowman. A must-try for both food and cafe enthusiasts!
For those who enjoy alcohol, the "Prosciutto and Strawberry Mascarpone," with its perfect balance of saltiness and sweetness, is a great accompaniment. The potato salad topped with an egg and the choice of four types of "French Fries" are also recommended. Let's move on from here!
For mains, the "Bacon Steak Carbonara" with plenty of cheese and crispy thick-cut bacon is a favorite. The chewy noodles are addictively good. The "Beef Cutlet" with no fatty parts and a crispy coating pairs perfectly with the sauce. On this day, I opted for a non-alcoholic option, the creamy "Flat White" made with espresso and milk. The "Matcha Latte" is recommended for those who prefer a sweeter taste. Lastly, the "Organic Ginger Ale" provides an oriental vibe.
The staff were young with refreshing smiles, creating a pleasantly lively atmosphere. As someone who often enjoys solo cafe visits, I found this space to be very enjoyable.
