I love wide flat noodles in pasta or udon, so I was looking forward to trying this dish. The components of Carbonara (cream sauce, egg yolk, cheese, bacon) were clearly separated, and when you mix them together, it creates an impactful look. I tried eating it without mixing first, and it felt like something was missing, which is obvious. Personally, I found the cheese (Parmigiano) a bit too strong with a hint of bitterness, but when the bacon flavor kicks in, it all comes together as Carbonara, which was surprising. It made me realize how important it is to sauté the bacon together to transfer the umami flavor to the other ingredients. On a Saturday afternoon, after having lunch in Marunouchi, I visited this place for the first time. About 70% of the tables were occupied when I arrived. I was seated at a table and ordered using a QR code. The shop is famous for its "Coffee Pudding" which I had seen on their sign and Instagram, but I was recommended to try the "Whole Peach Cheesecake" along with an iced coffee and organic ginger ale. The dish arrived with a whole peach on top and peach ice cream. Inside, there was a cheesecake or more like a cheesecake mousse with almond slices around it, providing a great texture and it was really delicious. Looking from the top, it was a cute peach dessert with pink pepper sprinkled on it. The pink pepper added a nice aroma and taste when I bit into it. The staff were also friendly and pleasant.
