Yesterday, I drank too much alone at home and now I have a headache... I got drunk and made some weird posts on Facebook again. The next morning, I realized and panicked, quickly deleting them, but some people had already liked them. It's better than getting "dislikes" at least. (laughs) Maybe I should quit Facebook and switch to TikTok. But it seems like a similar situation might happen there too. (laughs) No, maybe I should become a YouTuber? I feel like I would have to pay a fine every time I upload a video, not earn any income. (laughs) Anyway, today's post is about a ramen shop I visited last weekend. I visited this ramen shop in Minamimorimachi on that day. Although I'm not as into ramen as I used to be, I've been hearing "Mouri" here and there, so it caught my attention. Is it a shop run by an astronaut? (laughs) Upon researching, it seems to be a shop owned by a capital company. It seems like companies that handle kushikatsu shops are starting to enter the ramen business. They have already opened several branches, but I wanted to start by trying their main shop. The main menu consists of chicken white broth, soy sauce, and salt ramen. Although most people choose the chicken white broth, I decided to order the soy sauce ramen. What I ordered today is the Special Soy Sauce Ramen for 1,150 yen. The interior of the shop is very clean and well-organized, as expected from a capital-owned shop. It seems that they have renovated the shop, which used to be called "Mori-tei." Here is the arrival of the soy sauce ramen. Oh... it has a nice shine. What I mean by shine is the oil layer, in other words, chicken fat. This greatly enhances the overall appearance of the ramen. The noodles are medium-thin straight noodles with whole wheat flour. They are very supple and beautiful noodles. When you are served such noodles, it is a courtesy to eat them slowly, savoring the taste of the noodles. Then the noodles seem to thank you and slowly release their umami flavor in your mouth. The soy sauce base is slightly on the richer side, but it is not too salty, rather mild. It blends well with the delicate taste of the noodles. Since I ordered the special ramen, the toppings are luxurious and splendid. The long, attractive menma bamboo shoots encircle the bowl. Such subtle presentation is important. In response to this, today I want to respond with a top-notch "eating performance." By the way, "performance" does not mean pretending to enjoy the food, so please do not misunderstand. (laughs) It felt like I was elegantly and smartly enjoying the ramen. With this elegant feeling, I will now go on a tour of drinking establishments in Tenroku and this time, I want to get drunk in a sophisticated manner. (laughs) Thank you for the meal.
