This time, I would like to introduce a popular and reasonably priced Italian restaurant that opened in Shin-Otsuka three years ago, specializing in homemade fresh pasta. The location is just a short walk from Shin-Otsuka Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line, about 10 seconds away. It is also a 5-minute walk from Otsuka Station on the JR Yamanote Line and Toden Arakawa Line. The business hours are from 11:30 am to 3:00 pm for lunch (last order at 2:00 pm) and from 5:00 pm to 11:00 pm for dinner (last order at 10:00 pm), with Sundays being closed. I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation from a friend who loves pasta. My friend and I went on a weekday at 7:00 pm. The restaurant has around 20 seats, with a mix of counter and table seating. We were seated at a table towards the right back of the restaurant. The interior has a cozy Italian vibe and offers a range of wines and authentic Italian dishes at reasonable prices. The drink menu includes a selection of wines ranging from 2,800 yen to 5,000 yen per bottle, with some higher-priced options at 8,800 yen and 12,800 yen. They also offer beers like Carlsberg on tap and beer balls, highballs such as Kakubin, Toris, and Jim Beam, cocktails including Cassis, Campari, and Moscow Mule, and sours like lemon sour and various fruit sours. I tried the Seven Lucky Gods series of orange sour (700 yen) and Carlsberg draft beer (700 yen). For food, they offer a variety of dishes including carpaccio, pizza, pasta, aglio olio, and meat dishes. The recommended items are the stone-baked cheese Bolognese, ripe tomato arrabbiata (950 yen), karasumi peperoncino (1,250 yen), carbonara (1,250 yen), tomato cream pasta (1,250 yen), as well as weekly pasta specials and recommended dishes. We ordered the following items: - Truffle-flavored potato fries (500 yen) - Chicken liver pate with baguette (680 yen) - Recommended bonito tataki salad (880 yen) - Margherita pizza (1,200 yen) - Weekly pasta with anchovy and cabbage (1,200 yen) - Stone-baked cheese Bolognese (1,350 yen) - Roast chicken thigh meat - half size (950 yen) - Grilled half-size Azumino Genki pork shoulder loin (1,050 yen) - Homemade tiramisu (500 yen) - Iced coffee (700 yen) Overall, the pasta, meat dishes, and other items were delicious. The homemade fresh pasta, made using a low-hydration vacuum method, had a unique texture. The stone-baked cheese Bolognese and creamy anchovy and cabbage pasta were rich and flavorful. The grilled Azumino Genki pork shoulder loin was exceptionally tasty, with a melt-in-your-mouth quality. The roast chicken thigh meat was also delicious. The dishes were presented beautifully, with crescent moon patterns on the plates, adding to the dining experience. The homemade tiramisu was a perfect way to end the meal. The service was excellent, and I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

It's 1:30 pm in the area near Shin-Otsuka Station. There are decent dining options around JR Otsuka Station, but considering the next move and the current time, I should eat around here. I saw customers entering an Italian restaurant, so I decided to go in for a quick meal. Despite it being past 1:30 pm, about half of the fairly large restaurant was filled with local customers. I was intrigued by the fact that they offer a choice between carbonated water and water. I looked at the menu and decided to try the top dish labeled "Specialty!": the Stone-Baked Cheese Pasta Bolognese (tax included 1000 yen). The stone-baked aspect reminded me of the Stone's "Baked Curry Spaghetti" in Asakusabashi. Oh, now I want to eat that too... The menu stated that this dish would take 10 minutes. Well, waiting that long is normal, I guess. I also added the option of "Salad and Drink (with iced coffee)" for an additional 150 yen. If you add dessert, it's 200 yen, and without the salad but with dessert and drink, it's 150 yen extra, which is a reasonable price. The "Salad" arrived - a very ordinary salad with lettuce, carrots, purple cabbage, and French dressing. It was fresh enough. After the specified 10 minutes, the Stone-Baked Cheese Pasta Bolognese (tax included 1000 yen) was served. It was sizzling hot and looked delicious with plenty of melted cheese. Be careful if you're sensitive to hot food. The cheese was the star, while the pasta was a bit softer than expected, lacking in its own flavor. The minced meat was present but not overpowering. Overall, the cheese was the main attraction. I wondered how the pasta would taste if it were a bit thinner or crispy from being baked in the stone pot. It was a decent lunch, but something was missing... Perhaps a more flavorful pasta with better texture could make it a true specialty.

Stone-baked Cheese Bolognese 1,350 yen Katsuo Tataki Salad Style 880 yen Fresh Fish Carpaccio from Toyosu! 580 yen, etc. 【Recommended for People Like】Looking for Italian food around Otsuka Station 【Overview】"Pasta Dining Evoluto" is an Italian restaurant located in front of Shin-Otsuka Station. It is a relatively reasonable and casual Italian restaurant, so it's a series that would definitely make you happy if it were near your home! I initially thought I would just have pasta and a drink, but there were seasonal recommended dishes and reasonably priced, delicious individual dishes, so it turned into more than just a quick visit. I highly recommend it! 【Review】 ☆Specialty! Stone-baked Cheese Bolognese 1,350 yen The winning menu is here! You can eat this Bolognese hot and sizzling in a stone pot. I thought I would wait a bit until the stone pot cooled down, but since it's a genuine stone pot, if you wait too long, it won't taste good! So I started eating right away. The rich cheese and thick tomato-based sauce complement each other superbly, and even though I ordered another pasta dish, personally, the specialty here is the winner! ☆Fresh Fish Carpaccio from Toyosu! 580 yen The runner-up menu is here! This carpaccio changes depending on the fish they source, and today it was served with Kanpachi! I've had many carpaccios before, but if my memory serves me right, this was my first time trying Kanpachi carpaccio! The abundance of spring onions and special sauce paired perfectly, and with a decent portion, I think it's a must-order with a toast drink! Thank you for the meal!

Opened in June 2020, during the pandemic, this restaurant is located along a moderately busy street that I had never noticed until this morning. I believe there used to be a different shop in this location. The area around the nearest station, Nishi-Otsuka Station, has a good selection of high-quality dining and lunch spots. The pasta menu for lunch is particularly appealing. They offer a variety of options while maintaining a high standard. The spaghetti with squid ink sauce is surprisingly flavorful for a lunch dish at this price point. It is a simple Italian pasta dish that focuses on the quality of the ingredients. The noodles are perfectly al dente and the flavor is light and delicious. They served a pasta dish that they must have confidence in, and I was satisfied with the taste. The salad with a tangy dressing and fresh vegetables is a perfect appetizer for the pasta. The dessert is small but satisfying. While there may be some room for improvement in the finer details, I highly recommend going there for lunch if you enjoy pasta. According to the menu, they offer cheese shavings for an additional 100 yen to sprinkle on your pasta. The habanero sauce on the table may not be the best match for their pasta dishes. The lunch rush is popular and the service can be a bit hectic, but overall the atmosphere is pleasant. However, do not expect overly attentive service.

I heard from an acquaintance that there is a delicious and casual Italian restaurant in Shinyotsuka, so I visited Pasta Dining Evoluto. It is located just a short walk from Shinyotsuka Station. The restaurant has a chic atmosphere like a trattoria. Here is what I had: - Cheers: Champagne, Oolong tea - Truffle-scented potato salad: Mix the soft-boiled egg yolk with the salad for a perfect match with the truffle scent! - Chicken liver pate with baguette: The liver was delicious without any strong taste. - Spicy tomato sauce with wagyu tripe: The perfect balance of spiciness with the tomato sauce and tripe! - Signature stone-baked cheese bolognese: The hot bolognese in the stone pot with plenty of cheese was delicious! - Homemade tiramisu: Soft and fluffy with just the right amount of sweetness. The chef has been cooking for a long time at the Global Dining Group, and the food was consistently delicious. I heard they also serve lunch, so I would like to visit again for lunch next time. Thank you for the meal.

Located just a minute's walk from the exit of Shin-Otsuka Station, I stopped by here when I had business in Ikebukuro. The interior of the restaurant has a bar-like atmosphere with a wide variety of menu options. They also have happy hour specials depending on the time, making it convenient for locals. The customers seemed to be mostly locals as well. I started with a toast with a glass of white sangria. - Chicken Liver Pate with Baguette (680 yen) Homemade and creamy without any unpleasant smell, this dish pairs well with wine. - Spicy Tomato Sauce Tripe of Wagyu Beef (680 yen) Spiced up and tender tripe with a hint of lemon for added flavor. A surprisingly filling dish. - Oven-baked Young Corn (380 yen) Even the husk was delicious. - Roasted New Onion (380 yen) Sweet and delicious. - Marinated Horse Mackerel (680 yen) Refreshing and easy to eat with small, easy-to-eat slices. - Gizzard and New Potato Confit (680 yen) Tender gizzards with a large size and sweet roasted new potatoes. - Fully Ripened Tomato Arrabiata (950 yen) Since this bar is known for its delicious pasta, I had to order it. I was already quite full, so I asked for a smaller portion. The fact that they can adjust the portion is greatly appreciated by women. The fresh pasta is handcrafted in the restaurant, making it even more delicious. It tasted as good as pasta in a hotel, and I could see why this place is known for its pasta. Many customers were ordering pasta, and I recommend checking out the weekly specials and seasonal recommendations when you visit.

I extended my exploration from Ikebukuro to the Otsuka area. While there were many bars, I decided to try this place known for its pasta. Happy hour goes until 7pm on weekdays, which was a nice bonus. I enjoyed sparkling wine with a variety of appetizers and tripe. The dish featured new onions, young corn, and seasonal vegetables with simple seasoning. I tried the Arabiata pasta made with ripe tomatoes, and was pleasantly surprised by the chewy noodles. The garlic-infused flavor was bold and addictive. It's a great place to order multiple pasta dishes or just enjoy the pasta alone. I definitely want to visit again.

I visited during the company's lunch break around 12 o'clock. [Order] Bacon Carbonara ¥1,000 I have a habit of always ordering Carbonara when I come to a place like this because it's delicious. The Carbonara was rich and tasty. They also have 500 yen pasta options, which is great. Thank you for the delicious meal.

The pot cheese Bolognese was very delicious. It had lots of cheese in it and was piping hot, with the pasta being chewy and very tasty! Whoever came up with this menu is a genius. I have been coming here regularly since the opening. I used to always eat the Shirasu Peperoncino, but now I think I'm hooked on this too!

The hot coffee was incredibly delicious, and the extra 100 yen for powdered cheese was also tasty. The pasta made with Hokkaido ingredients was much appreciated, and the turnips, salmon, and salad were all delicious. The only downside was the purple smoke coming into the store from the smoking area outside. I will definitely visit again.

The chewy pasta is delicious♪ The stone-baked Bolognese stays hot until you finish it♪ The bacon and mushroom peperoncino has a great flavor♪ I was surprised that you can choose between regular water and sparkling water at the beginning. The set drink can be chosen before or after the meal, and when chosen after, they bring it at just the right time. The service is excellent, as if they are always looking out for the customers♪ When you crave chewy pasta, this is the place to go♪ Thank you for the meal! ✨

Today's lunch was at Evolute in Shin-Otsuka. I love their chewy pasta here. It's great that you can choose a side dish. Today, I chose the daily special sweet corn and gorgonzola cream pasta. The corn was crispy and surprisingly went well with the gorgonzola. Cheese and corn seem to be a good combination. The cheesecake for dessert was a bit hard and difficult to cut with a fork (lol).

I met my junior colleague after a long time and we decided to meet at this restaurant where we had been before. The pasta at this restaurant is very delicious, so I ordered the "Specialty! Stone-baked Cheese Bolognese". It was very tasty with plenty of cheese. Until 7 pm, they have a happy hour where you can drink a little cheaper, which makes me very happy ☺️

I suddenly felt like eating pasta and went to Evoluto. It's convenient because it's close to my house. I came to eat pasta, but the recommended dish was grilled lobster...!! So I ended up ordering not only pasta but also grilled lobster. The pasta was with pork and rapeseed flowers in tomato sauce. The tenderly cooked pork was very delicious. The lobster was packed with juicy meat and satisfyingly firm. Thank you for the meal! I will come again.

Located just a short walk from Shin-Otsuka Station, I finally had the chance to visit this place during a weekday lunchtime, as they are closed on Sundays. I arrived around 1 pm and the place was almost full, with only the counter seats available. The restaurant is not very spacious, so it might be difficult to find a table for three depending on the layout. I was greeted promptly and asked if I wanted still or sparkling water. I chose sparkling water, and later ordered another drink. I ordered the pasta with sardines and celery (¥800) with a drink, salad, and dessert set, as well as the pork belly cream stew (¥1200) with the same set. During happy hour until 5 pm, I also added a drink for ¥300. The salad arrived first, with a generous amount of vinaigrette. The pasta was thick and chewy, with a nice balance of celery and sardines. The pork belly stew had tender meat and a delicious sauce, although it was a bit too fatty for my taste. The caramel dessert was a highlight and definitely worth getting. During happy hour, I tried the Super Dry beer and white wine, both of which were enjoyable. The highball was also well-made with less ice, making it easy to drink. Overall, the food was delicious and I plan to visit again for dinner to try out their other drink options. The service was good, although I did notice that our set drinks were missing, but it wasn't a big issue. Looking forward to returning for the Super Dry beer, highball, and wine options.

The pasta for lunch was so delicious that I wanted to come back at night, so I made a reservation and tried it. Both the meat and pasta were authentic and very tasty. The platter cheese was so creamy and delicious that I ended up ordering seconds. They also have a happy hour until 7 pm, and the food is delicious and reasonably priced. I love this restaurant.

I always visited for lunch, but this time I came for dinner for the first time. The gnocchi with sautéed shrimp and cabbage sprouts in garlic oil, as well as the squid ink spaghetti with pepperoncino, and tiramisu for dessert were all delicious. I want to try more dishes next time, so I will definitely visit again.

This recently opened shop in Shin-Otsuka is probably about 2-3 months old. I had been curious about it every time I passed by, but one day I suddenly felt the urge to eat pasta, so I finally visited! It was a Friday night, but about half of the seats were empty, so I was seated right away. The location is right in front of Shin-Otsuka Station, on Kasuga Street, a busy area with lots of foot traffic. The interior is designed with a wood-based theme and is slightly dimly lit, creating a moody atmosphere that attracts many couples. The staff are all cool guys, energetic and lively, making the atmosphere inside the shop vibrant. This time, I had the salmon and ikura cream sauce pasta. The portion seemed a bit small, but since it seems to be a shop that focuses on wine and other drinks, the portion size may be appropriate. When I took the first bite, I was surprised by the texture of the noodles. They were firm but chewy, with a good bite! The sauce was rich, with a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. It was quite creamy, but the acidity prevented it from being too heavy, allowing me to finish it all in one go. Despite the smaller portion size, the satisfying feeling after eating was there, perhaps due to the chewy texture of the noodles. They had a variety of pasta options, so I would like to visit again when the pasta craving strikes. I'd love to try a different one next time!

I visited for lunch on a holiday. I started with sparkling wine, and was seated at a table where I could see people passing by. The weather was nice, and drinking alcohol in the moderate sunlight made it even more enjoyable with a hint of guilt. The salad dressing suited my taste and the pasta was delicious. I ended up adding white wine.
