A soba restaurant located right near JR Kitashinchi Station. It's a place my friends and I had talked about visiting someday. They serve stone-ground soba made with 100% buckwheat flour, without any additives. The menu also offers a variety of other dishes. The restaurant spans three floors, and we took the elevator to the second floor. When the elevator doors opened, we were greeted by a lively atmosphere. The space was well-prepared for COVID-19 prevention, with hand sanitizer, social distancing between tables, and steam being used in various areas. We started with some appetizers, including "Soba Gaki" which had a simple and rustic flavor. The atmosphere was enhanced by the delicious broth. We also tried "Toro Yuba" and "Ikura Soba," both of which were delightful. For drinks, we enjoyed some sake and a refreshing lemon and sudachi sour. The highlight of the meal was the "Ebi-Ten Soba," a generous serving of soba topped with tempura shrimp, vegetables, and a flavorful broth. The soba itself had a smooth texture and a good bite to it. We also tried the "Soba Gaki Zenzai," a unique dessert featuring crispy soba gaki. Overall, the soba was delicious, and we ended the meal with some soba ice cream, a sweet treat with a subtle soba flavor. It was a satisfying dining experience, and I highly recommend this restaurant for soba lovers.

I went for lunch at a new place. When I arrived at 12 o'clock, there were a few people waiting in line. After about 10 minutes, I was seated and entered the restaurant. There are two floors for lunchtime. I ordered the tempura soba set. The tempura was big and crispy, and it came with seasoned rice. The soba noodles were also delicious. I received a 100 yen discount coupon when paying, which made me want to come back again. About 70-80% of the customers were women.

Today, I visited a soba restaurant in Kitashinchi for lunch. It's located in a building right after you exit the station. The restaurant has three floors, so it can accommodate a lot of people. I arrived at 11:20 and there were already 12 people waiting. The way people were waiting was a bit disorganized, with no proper line. The restaurant opened at 11:30, and I was offered to go in first but I insisted the others go ahead. I ordered my favorite vinegar citrus soba with a side of mixed rice. The rice was delicious. The portion size was not too big, but it was satisfying. The soba had vinegar in it, and I was instructed to mix it before eating. The soba and the broth were both delicious. I was very satisfied with my meal. To finish, they served me soba tea. I don't usually drink soba tea, but I tried it this time. The person next to me ordered warm soba with shrimp tempura, which looked delicious. I will definitely try that next time. It was a great meal. Thank you.

Visited during lunchtime on a Saturday at a restaurant that was popular on social media. Arrived around 11:15 AM, even though they open at 11:30 AM, there was no wait. However, by the time they opened, there were about four groups lined up. I ordered the lunch set with tempura and soba noodles. It came with mixed rice, but I paid extra to change it to a seafood bowl. The tempura had two large prawns, eggplant, seaweed, and more, all with a crispy batter that really brought out the flavors of the ingredients. The soba noodles, being made of 100% buckwheat, had a great flavor as well. The seafood bowl had fresh toppings and paired well with the rice, although it was a bit disappointing that the wasabi soy sauce was already added on top. I would have preferred the wasabi on the side, but this is just a personal preference. Overall, it was a very satisfying and great value lunch. Thank you for the meal.

I had the shrimp tempura set for lunch. The cold soba tea was delicious. The soba noodles were thin and the dipping sauce was slightly sweet, which I liked. The set included two large shrimp tempura, vegetable tempura, and mixed rice, all for only 1280 yen, which is a great deal! I visited the restaurant on Friday around 6 pm. When I was escorted to the second floor, there was no one there yet. I enjoyed salted squid, homemade potato salad, deep-fried tofu, along with beer and sake as appetizers, and finished with premium wagyu beef soba. Everything was delicious, especially the potato salad which you can mix to your liking. The soba noodles were also flavorful and satisfying. By the time I left, the restaurant was packed with groups of friends and coworkers. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I used it for lunch. I came to the store in the heat, the air conditioning was working well, and I felt calm when the soba tea came out. I ordered Omi duck and Kujo green onion soba. The side dish rice was a service and you could choose from small, medium, or large sizes, and I chose medium. I enjoyed the duck rare and as it cooked through, I could taste various textures and was satisfied. The soba was made with 100% buckwheat, and had a good texture. It was a bit crowded, so the service was a bit slow, but that's a sign of its popularity! I would like to go again.

I went to a soba restaurant along Sonezaki Street. It is a famous place where you can eat "wanko soba" (small servings of soba noodles, reservation required). I went there before noon and it was already crowded. I enjoyed cold soba tea served in a copper tumbler and katsu-tsuke soba with rice. I went to Ishiwaki Juhachi Soba Gensen Kitashinchi Honten alone and sat at the counter. The counter was easy to enter. The tempura was crispy and the shrimp was delicious. The soba noodles were cooked just right and tasted delicious. I didn't post it, but I actually had seconds of soba noodles (laughs). Thank you for the meal. It has become my favorite restaurant now.

The Kyoto Akadori chicken and Kujo negi soba had a great combination of chicken, green onion, and broth, making it easy to eat in one go. I have visited this restaurant for lunch several times, but this time I came at night because I wanted to have soba. The soba here is very delicious, even though it is made with 100% buckwheat it is still smooth. The vegetable sticks to dip in the grilled miso sauce were great with the buckwheat grains inside. The soba soup is very rich and has a wonderful buckwheat aroma, making it a great way to finish the meal.

It was a wonderful restaurant. We sat at the counter seats, which were very spacious and had individual storage compartments. The soba menu was extensive and they had a wide variety of dishes to go with alcohol, which paired well with the sake. I would like to try the course menu next time. I am also very interested in the hot pot.

Delicious soba at the soba izakaya "Ishibuki Jyuuwari Soba Gensen Kitashinchi Honten" during dinner time. We used it as our second stop for the night. There are two entrances, one facing the main street and one at the back. The clean interior has counter and table seating on the first floor, with additional seating on the second and third floors. We sat at a table near the stone mill. Cheers with sudachi sour and lemon sour! The dishes we had were: - Grilled barley miso with vegetable sticks: The burnt flavor on the surface of the barley miso was delicious. Dip cucumber, radish, and carrot sticks and enjoy! - Tempura of Kyoto Akadori chicken: The crispy coating and juicy chicken were delightful. The sweetness of the chicken was delicious. - Soba set: The 100% buckwheat soba had a smooth texture with a nice firmness, and paired well with the flavorful broth. Despite being full, the smoothness made it easy to eat. We also enjoyed the soba-yu. The service was great too. Thank you for the meal!
