I visited a standing bar called "Jinbee" that I had been wanting to check out for a while. I started with a glass of white wine, which was very generous and easy to drink. The Mozuku seaweed for 80 yen was a good deal and a nice sour side dish. The sashimi of natural sea bream for 380 yen was fresh and came with some tuna, a great value. The meat tofu for 380 yen is a must-order for me, and it was delicious. The Jinbee's rolled omelet for 280 yen with plenty of grated daikon was a nice touch. The assorted oden for 280 yen with daikon, thick fried tofu, and chrysanthemum greens was satisfying, especially with the beef tendon in the broth. Each dish was well-prepared and had a good balance of flavors. The menu offers fresh and seasonal items, so I could come back multiple times without getting bored. The variety of side dishes displayed on the counter also kept the meal interesting. The lively atmosphere with happy customers and staff added to the positive dining experience.

Additionally, their sister store is the popular pizza place Allegro, where you can even order Margherita pizza for delivery. They also have a variety of seasonal sake available, making it a great spot for sake lovers. The atmosphere is lively with many regular customers, making it a place you'll want to visit often.

I didn't have enough to drink, so I went to this restaurant for a second round! The seafood was incredibly delicious, but on a late Sunday night, they only had mackerel left. However, everything was tasty! Personally, I couldn't get enough of the fried flounder - it was addictively delicious! They had a wide selection of drinks and the standing bar had a great atmosphere!

Assorted sashimi platter with 5 kinds of fresh fish for 640 yen. This standing bar near Osaka Tenjinbashi is popular for its seafood dishes. This summer, I went to the aquarium with my daughter. We were excited by the size of the whale shark. But the summer vacation for salarymen is really short. Feeling down on the first day back, I dashed out on time and came here for a quick drink. They serve draft beer, an assorted sashimi platter with 5 kinds of fish, and Suginishiki sake from Shizuoka. The sashimi includes sea bream, flounder, octopus, amberjack, and salmon. Underneath the sashimi, there are 2 pieces of rolled sushi hidden. The sashimi is thick and fresh, really delicious. I needed a second beer and also tried a dry sake. The total was around 1500 yen. I highly recommend this standing bar.

I used the ladder wine for the second time. I was able to enter at the right timing just before closing. I ordered a sashimi assortment and fried sardines as a side dish for the alcohol. The ginger highball I ordered had no carbonation at all and was not delicious (*_*). The food was delicious, but there may be other similar restaurants out there.

I ate and drank various things around 8:55 pm on July 3, 2023 (Monday). After finishing work, I casually suggested going out with my colleague... but then, one after another, I received messages to stay a bit longer. Sorry for making you wait for about 50 minutes... The delay was inevitable, but the food was stylish and delicious. As expected, Jinbei is always a safe choice! It was really tasty. Thank you for the meal.

The cost performance is great. The taste is delicious, and it's a wonderful standing bar. The beer is also delicious, and the glasses are properly cleaned so there's no unpleasant feeling. Despite it being a weeknight, there were many customers, which is understandable. It's located in an area with many drinking establishments, so it's easy to visit.

Visit time: 18:10 on a weekday Wait time: None Menu: A la carte I was taken here by a colleague in the same industry. I left work right away and arrived without having to wait, but soon after it became fully booked. The sashimi platter for 649 yen and boiled beef tongue for 209 yen were very reasonably priced. The sashimi was large and fresh, so it's a must-order. The beer was at a normal price, but the sake was cheap and definitely worth a try. Thank you for the meal.

Finally went to a standing bar! Today, there were fewer customers, perhaps because of the rain, but each customer was having a good time chatting and enjoying themselves. The atmosphere was great, but the only downside was the staff (wearing a cap) who loudly called out orders for drinks and food across the counter. Other than that, it was a place where you could fully enjoy yourself!

This lively standing bar is perfect for solo dining, offering a great variety of dishes in generous portions with delicious flavors. I had plenty of dishes including tofu with lots of condiments, simmered beef tendon, marinated cucumber, and various types of tuna skewers. I also had 5 drinks, all for about ¥3,000. I will definitely be visiting again.

It's been a while since I visited. It was a Monday after Golden Week and the restaurant had a moderate number of customers (especially few smokers). Before my companion arrived, I ordered two glasses of draft beer and two assorted sashimi plates. Today's assortment includes swordfish, octopus from Akashi, amberjack, tuna, and bonito. I always look forward to the assorted sashimi plate. We also had boiled beef tongue, fried horse mackerel, and finished off with the Wonderful Sauce Omusoba! What exactly is Wonderful Sauce? Thanks for the delicious meal again today.

I dropped by as I had some time before a meeting. This standing bar is stylish and popular among female customers. I had a highball and a lemon shochu highball. For snacks, I opted for saraspa, iwawasa, and grilled squid as I will be having a meal later. I like the eco-friendly style of returning used dishes to the wooden box on the counter.

When you feel like eating delicious fish in Umeda, go to Jinbee. Especially the one in Ohatsu Tenjin. Definitely order the 2 types, 5 pieces assortment. The boiled tongue and potato salad are also delicious. I've been going there for years, but lately there haven't been any new dishes on the menu, which is disappointing. The menu hasn't changed, and the staff at the restaurant seem tired working alone. I wish there were more exciting new dishes like before. I really love this place, so I hope they keep up the good work.

This is a stand located on the first floor of the "Grande Sonezaki Building," which has a super retro atmosphere a little off the main street of Ohatsu Tenjin Shotengai. I visited here before heading to "even" on the second floor. Inside the shop, it is a bit dark, with a counter and a few tables for 2-3 people, making it convenient. However, smoking is allowed throughout the shop, and there are many young people, creating quite a chaotic atmosphere. It may feel a bit out of place for middle-aged women. When ordering, you communicate your order across the counter and they call out your order from the counter. This may make it a bit hectic for guests enjoying solo drinking at the counter. On this day, two middle-aged women visited and ordered the following: - Chicken Karaage - Mozuku seaweed - Potato salad We also had three highballs. The total bill for two people was a little over 2000 yen. The highballs were served in proper glasses, unlike the 650 yen ones from the other day. It's just how an izakaya should be. We started with the Mozuku seaweed, which was served in small dishes for 90 yen each. The portion, sweet vinegar seasoning, and crunchy texture were all excellent. It went well with the highball. The Chicken Karaage was thinly sliced thigh meat, lacking in thickness and meatiness, with a strong fried chicken taste. The potato salad made with "Inca no Mezame" had a perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. Overall, it was a delicious experience. I look forward to trying their sashimi next time as I often hear that their fish dishes are excellent. Thank you for reading until the end!

Located just off the Oohatsu Tenjin Street, there is a standing bar called Jinbee. They offer a variety of daily specials in addition to their regular menu. There are counter seats as well as table seating available. Start off with a toast with beer, but be prepared for both ordering and service to take some time. It's best to place your order early. The assorted sashimi platter was already sold out, but the tender boiled tongue was exquisite. The fresh oysters with ponzu sauce were plump and paired well with grated daikon. The famous grilled squid was quite large. All the dishes were excellent! The dimly lit and relaxed atmosphere inside allows for a leisurely time. Whether it was just a coincidence or not, it seemed to take some time for the staff to rotate that box with two people. It's perfect for a relaxed evening of leisurely smoking rather than a quick drink. The prices on the menu are quite unclear. I keep forgetting my orders, which is not good. I had to wait for my drink twice. Also, I had already eaten half of my croquette when the sauce finally arrived (lol). The dashimaki was not rolled, it was more like an omelette.

Located a 5-minute walk from Osaka Umeda Station, this standing bar is part of the Alegro Group, which has a wide range of restaurants in Osaka offering soba, pizza, gyoza, and more. I occasionally visit this place and love their 5-kind, 2-piece assorted sashimi plate for 590 yen. Unfortunately, on this day, I found out for the first time that the sashimi was sold out and limited in quantity. Here are the dishes I tried: - Melting boiled tongue for 190 yen: When you put it in your mouth, it truly melts, with a refreshing soup and a touch of black pepper. - Soy sauce-marinated daikon peel for 190 yen: A must-have along with the boiled tongue and sashimi. - Inca's Awakening potato salad for 390 yen: The yellow color comes from Inca's Awakening, which adds a sticky sweetness. - Seafood gratin for 590 yen: This was my first time ordering the gratin, which took some time to bake. It was full of seafood and had a rich béchamel sauce, showing the high quality typical of their Italian restaurant. When I come here, I always pair my meal with Hoppy, a popular drink in Osaka. I once asked a Hoppy enthusiast why it's not more widely available in Kansai. They explained that Hoppy Beverage promotes environmental activities by offering reusable bottles for businesses and recyclable bottles for households. The distribution and collection logistics make it challenging to reach Kansai. I hope Hoppy becomes more popular in Kansai and maybe even establish a factory here.

I visited with my friends on a Saturday right after the opening. We were quickly seated at the counter and ordered beer and the limited quantity sashimi platter. The sashimi platter was delicious, just like the squid we had last time. We also enjoyed the grilled squid and pork innards dish, everything was delicious. I want to try their pizza next time. I want to go back again.

I went to "Tachinomi Jinbee" on a Tuesday night after having a few drinks at the first place but still feeling like having a little more. While many standing bars now have seating, this place is standing-only. I planned to just stop by for a quick drink as my second spot, but I couldn't resist ordering the kimchi fried rice that caught my eye! When it arrived, I was surprised to see that it was a large portion! It turned out to be a generous serving because it was the last order of the night. The sweet kimchi was mixed in nicely with the fluffy fried rice, and my companion and I quickly devoured it. The lively staff added to the fun atmosphere, making it a great second spot. Definitely give it a try!

The entrance was hard to see inside, so it was difficult to get a sense of the atmosphere, but I'm glad I went in. I visited alone on a Friday before 9 pm. Thanks to the time slot, the turnover was quick so there wasn't much of a wait. What I had: [Raw Mongoyika] Thick and sweet, delicious. [Fatty Hakké] Fatty and tender, just the right amount of salt, I love it. [Tofu with Lots of Condiments] So many condiments it could be a snack on its own. The myoga was a nice touch. Plus 2 beers, it came out to 2,365 yen. It was fun even by myself, but next time I want to go with friends.
