食いしん坊のコブタ
<2016.9>After 4 months, I stayed at the club floor again. I decided to stay for multiple nights to relax. Before writing this review, I would have given it a 4-star rating, but the club floor experiences frequent staff changes. The food replenishment at the club floor was really bad this time. They should have prepared better considering the number of guests staying. There were not enough plates and cups. And just before leaving... well, I've been a bit demanding in the past, but things that were previously okay became not okay when the staff changed. I can't afford to stay here, but my friend has been coming here for almost 20 years. He said, "It feels like they're cutting corners... I won't stay here anymore." He's quite extreme, so it's a bit funny. I like this hotel, so I won't lower my overall rating, but I did lower the rating for the club lounge. When I first stayed at this hotel 11 years ago, I was impressed by how wonderful it was, as I only knew hotels like the Okura and La Suite in Kobe at the time. I've also experienced various high-class hotels in Osaka and Tokyo, so this recent experience made me feel a bit... maybe they're getting carried away (laughs). But I don't usually make unreasonable demands. It's really disappointing. Recently, I've been staying at InterContinental more often, and their hospitality is definitely better. That's why when I look at TripAdvisor, the number one hotel in Osaka is InterContinental. The results speak for themselves. I left feeling a bit disappointed after this little incident, even though I had a good time before. (Tears) <2016.4>It's been a while since I stayed at the Ritz. I didn't come here at all last year. I've written reviews for both the club lounge and the Ritz-Carlton, so it's a bit strange... oh well (laughs). Last year, I alternated between staying at the Hilton and InterContinental. The room rates at all hotels have gone up due to an increase in foreign guests. The Ritz, even without the club floor, sometimes reached 190,000 yen in high season. I thought it would be crowded before Golden Week, and sure enough, the club lounge was full. For some reason, all the staff were women, and only two of them had recognizable faces. It seems quite different. The food was the same as always, and I was happy to see sushi rolls because there was no tower at 6 o'clock. The staff were all very pleasant (^○^). I forgot my charger, so I asked for a loan, but they said they had lent them all out (-_-). They should have been prepared for that. In the end, I had to use a fixed charger on the first floor. After a hearty meal, I went to the fitness center, so they brought my phone there (^○^). I worked out properly and then went to eat breakfast. The next morning... surprisingly, it wasn't crowded, so I sat on the sofa. I ordered an egg dish, but it didn't come out no matter how long I waited (-_-). My friend D-chan, who had to go to work alone at 9 o'clock, was getting annoyed, so I asked twice, "Is it still not ready?" Even then, it didn't come out... and they had brought it to someone who had just arrived! D-chan was understandably angry. However, the staff member who was apologizing profusely seemed pitiful ((+_+)). I let D-chan be angry and later apologized on behalf of myself (^O^). The staff member kept apologizing whenever they saw me after that. As long as there is sincerity, it's totally okay, right? I went to the Splendido on the first floor alone for a light meal (^○^). They have a much wider variety there. I made a lunch reservation at Hanagatami (sushi) on the club floor, but there was a mistake there too, so I hope they improve in this area (-"-). But I still love the Ritz the most in Osaka (^○^). I checked out at 4 o'clock, but since I work the night shift, I left the hotel at 1:30 (^○^). I told D-chan, "I feel refreshed and ready for my night shift now. Thank you." In the morning, he was angry, but he said, "Let's go again sometime." (laughs) I'll be back ☆ <2014.6>My second time at the Ritz this year. It's my birthday, so I decided to come back after a long time. Whenever I stay at the Ritz, I always choose the club floor. It's somewhat more expensive, but...
