I wander around the country in search of delicious food every day. This time, I stayed at The Ritz-Carlton Osaka and visited the lounge. [Area] Osaka City Umeda [Awards] None [Frequency of Visit] Several times [Impression] Afternoon tea with cocktails, evening with drinks and snacks, and breakfast in the morning. The lounge at The Ritz is always nice. Thank you for the wonderful meal.

I visited the club lounge while checking in. It was afternoon tea time, so I had some champagne. The tea snacks that came with it were truly top-notch, as expected from The Ritz-Carlton. Each one was delicious above average. The standout was the pate and foie gras sandwich, which was absolutely exquisite. The size was just right for such a rich filling. I ended up having three glasses of champagne before my room was ready. The next morning, I also had breakfast here. While the selection was limited, the food was refined and tasty. The omelette was the best I've had. The absence of curry was also a nice touch. The bacon was also really delicious. If you plan to enjoy the hotel life while lounging around during the day, choosing the club floor would definitely be a good reason.

At The Ritz-Carlton Osaka, we had a year-end party at "Hanagatami" for teppanyaki. Then we enjoyed some adult drinks at "THE BAR". Finally, we ended the night with some sweet treats at the "Club Lounge". The lounge offers food presentations five times a day, including breakfast, light lunch, afternoon tea, pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres, and nightcap (sweets). The atmosphere is perfect for relaxing and enjoying hotel life. We sipped on daiquiris, mojitos, and champagne cocktails while indulging in our favorite sweets like chocolate fountain, fresh fruits, marshmallows, ganache, bonbons, cookies, madeleines, macarons, and more. The service, following the Ritz's standards, was warm and attentive throughout the night. Overall, it was a delightful experience at The Ritz-Carlton Osaka, my favorite city hotel in Osaka.

The Club Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Osaka. I was planning to spend an elegant moment, but due to circumstances, I could only enjoy from nightcap to the next day's noon, which was disappointing... My companion seemed to have fully enjoyed the afternoon tea and pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres. It was Christmas season, so the interior was glamorous. The food presentation had a good variety, and the alcohol selection was also plentiful with 3 types of red and white wines, as well as sparkling wine available for free. There was no champagne, haha. The Max Mara bear decorations for the limited period were cute. Next time, I also want to enjoy the afternoon tea. Thank you for the elegant time.

I went to Kansai. On the first day, I stayed at the Ritz-Carlton in Osaka. I checked in at the club lounge and then had an afternoon tea set. It was not bad, each item was reasonably tasty except for one. The drink was sparkling, not champagne. The price was 65,000 yen, so it's half the price of Tokyo, so it's okay. I always like the Ritz's clotted cream. The first drink during cocktail hour was a gimlet, which wasn't very good. The food wasn't great either. The rum could be handled better. Still, there were enough options for women to have a decent dinner here. It's okay, but not great, maybe a 3.1. The fried rice and soup were delicious. Especially the soup had a good broth.

In the past, when staying on the club floor, it was possible to use the restaurant on the first floor and have breakfast here, but this time we were only directed to the lounge, which was a little disappointing. However, we were able to enjoy delicious dishes such as omelets, sushi, udon, fruits, and more from the morning. I never get tired of coming here. The atmosphere, customer service, and overall experience are all fantastic. At this time, I suddenly felt unwell, but the staff were very attentive and caring. Thank you very much.

I visited during the Christmas season, so I was excited by the decorations inside the hotel. The lounge at night has a quiet and calming atmosphere where you can enjoy a drink, which I love. You can relax while looking at the night view. The selection of newspapers and magazines is also great, but this review was written a few years ago, so it may not be very helpful. I am always impressed by the warm care of the staff.

I had the opportunity to experience the Club Lounge floor at the prestigious Ritz-Carlton, despite being a commoner who always associated "Chinese = king." This lounge is exclusive to guests staying on the 33rd to 35th floors, offering five buffets including breakfast, light snacks, afternoon tea, pre-dinner appetizers, and nightcap desserts. The first thing you should do upon entering is to dash for a window seat for the amazing view. The food is top-notch, with a great balance of savory and sweet options. The afternoon tea was exquisite, and they even accommodated my food preferences. The pre-dinner appetizers were substantial enough to serve as a full meal, with a variety of dishes from different cuisines and unlimited drinks. The nightcap dessert buffet was a delight, with chocolate fondue, cakes, and various sweets to enjoy with alcohol. The breakfast was the highlight, with made-to-order omelets and freshly baked muffins stealing the show. The quality of the food was excellent, and the staff created a warm and welcoming atmosphere. While it may not be a place you visit regularly, I would love to stay here again if given the chance. It was a truly enjoyable experience!

The Club Lounge at The Ritz-Carlton Osaka☆彡 I sometimes use it for work meetings. It can be a bit noisy at night or during the day because it's crowded. The best time to visit is during Afternoon Tea timeヽ(´▽`)/ It's quiet and not as crowded as in the evening or at night. Perfect for a light snack before dinner, especially after a workout at the fitness center or a spa treatment. The Afternoon Tea menu includes: - Savory: Chicken and truffle sandwich, Walnut cream with chocolate spread - Sweets: Strawberry panna cotta jelly, Strawberry tart, Strawberry financiers, Scones (plain), Scones (raisin), Strawberry jam, Clotted cream The variety of sweets is not extensive, but they are delicious. The highlight is the wide selection of teas: - Ritz-Carlton Osaka Original Blend: A blend of summer-picked Ceylon tea with cornflower petals and cassis aroma. Balanced taste of richness and astringency. - Assam Barik Quality: Assam tea leaves harvested in summer. A malty tea with golden tips. Rich and flavorful. - Irish Whiskey Cream: Refreshing scent of Irish whiskey with sweet cocoa and no astringency. - Night Cap: Herbal tea blend of chamomile, lemon balm, and lavender. Soft and soothing, perfect for inducing sleep. - Soft Peach: Fruit herbal tea with apple and ripe peach aroma. Red color and sweet-sour scent. The Ritz serves British-style tea perfectly brewed. The staff is kind and attentive. Although there are many herbal teas I love, I have to stop because I'm getting too full! The Ritz is still my favorite, despite the turnover of young staff. My clients always order beer with snacks like rice crackers and nuts... I don't drink during work, of course! But I would like to! Another successful day of work is overヽ(´▽`)/ Well done!

I tend to overeat at the Ritz's delightful 5 food presentations. The most anticipated pre-dinner appetizers are served from 17:00 to 19:00 with a mix of Japanese, Western, and Chinese dishes from the hotel's restaurants. This time it was Japanese cuisine, and I was pleasantly surprised to see Katsudon at the food station for the first time. It was delicious, not just your average appetizer. I forgot to take a photo, but I also recommend the bar counter that has been around since the renovation. Although Osaka's Ritz is considered one of the more accessible ones in Japan, I thoroughly enjoyed the club lounge during my stay!

The food is delicious, it's a bit disappointing when it's a little cold, but it's still good! The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is great. I want to come back again! Champagne and beer are all-you-can-drink! As expected!

Well, the benefits of the club lounge are a bit underwhelming when experienced overseas. You can't exactly make yourself at home, so it's just okay.

<2016.9>After 4 months, I stayed at the club floor again. I decided to stay for multiple nights to relax. Before writing this review, I would have given it a 4-star rating, but the club floor experiences frequent staff changes. The food replenishment at the club floor was really bad this time. They should have prepared better considering the number of guests staying. There were not enough plates and cups. And just before leaving... well, I've been a bit demanding in the past, but things that were previously okay became not okay when the staff changed. I can't afford to stay here, but my friend has been coming here for almost 20 years. He said, "It feels like they're cutting corners... I won't stay here anymore." He's quite extreme, so it's a bit funny. I like this hotel, so I won't lower my overall rating, but I did lower the rating for the club lounge. When I first stayed at this hotel 11 years ago, I was impressed by how wonderful it was, as I only knew hotels like the Okura and La Suite in Kobe at the time. I've also experienced various high-class hotels in Osaka and Tokyo, so this recent experience made me feel a bit... maybe they're getting carried away (laughs). But I don't usually make unreasonable demands. It's really disappointing. Recently, I've been staying at InterContinental more often, and their hospitality is definitely better. That's why when I look at TripAdvisor, the number one hotel in Osaka is InterContinental. The results speak for themselves. I left feeling a bit disappointed after this little incident, even though I had a good time before. (Tears) <2016.4>It's been a while since I stayed at the Ritz. I didn't come here at all last year. I've written reviews for both the club lounge and the Ritz-Carlton, so it's a bit strange... oh well (laughs). Last year, I alternated between staying at the Hilton and InterContinental. The room rates at all hotels have gone up due to an increase in foreign guests. The Ritz, even without the club floor, sometimes reached 190,000 yen in high season. I thought it would be crowded before Golden Week, and sure enough, the club lounge was full. For some reason, all the staff were women, and only two of them had recognizable faces. It seems quite different. The food was the same as always, and I was happy to see sushi rolls because there was no tower at 6 o'clock. The staff were all very pleasant (^○^). I forgot my charger, so I asked for a loan, but they said they had lent them all out (-_-). They should have been prepared for that. In the end, I had to use a fixed charger on the first floor. After a hearty meal, I went to the fitness center, so they brought my phone there (^○^). I worked out properly and then went to eat breakfast. The next morning... surprisingly, it wasn't crowded, so I sat on the sofa. I ordered an egg dish, but it didn't come out no matter how long I waited (-_-). My friend D-chan, who had to go to work alone at 9 o'clock, was getting annoyed, so I asked twice, "Is it still not ready?" Even then, it didn't come out... and they had brought it to someone who had just arrived! D-chan was understandably angry. However, the staff member who was apologizing profusely seemed pitiful ((+_+)). I let D-chan be angry and later apologized on behalf of myself (^O^). The staff member kept apologizing whenever they saw me after that. As long as there is sincerity, it's totally okay, right? I went to the Splendido on the first floor alone for a light meal (^○^). They have a much wider variety there. I made a lunch reservation at Hanagatami (sushi) on the club floor, but there was a mistake there too, so I hope they improve in this area (-"-). But I still love the Ritz the most in Osaka (^○^). I checked out at 4 o'clock, but since I work the night shift, I left the hotel at 1:30 (^○^). I told D-chan, "I feel refreshed and ready for my night shift now. Thank you." In the morning, he was angry, but he said, "Let's go again sometime." (laughs) I'll be back ☆ <2014.6>My second time at the Ritz this year. It's my birthday, so I decided to come back after a long time. Whenever I stay at the Ritz, I always choose the club floor. It's somewhat more expensive, but...

On May 2, 2016, I visited the Ritz-Carlton for the first time in about 3 years. The club lounge offers service in five different time slots. The pre-dinner hors d'oeuvres had a variety of options and were filling enough on their own. All the dishes were delicious, but the corn soup was particularly tasty. I had three servings, and my daughter, who seemed to really enjoy it, had four servings. The white wine offered, Amolo, was known for its great value and was quite delicious. However, the red wine and sparkling wine were just okay. The service and atmosphere remained top-notch, just like before.

I stayed on the club floor before Christmas, when the illumination and Christmas tree were beautiful. I used the Club Lounge available to club floor guests. Check-in and check-out can also be done at this Club Lounge. There were food presentations about five times a day, with different light snacks each time. Cookies, macarons, and small appetizers were always available, and drinks, including alcohol, were free-flowing. An afternoon tea set was served at check-in, with sandwiches, scones, and baked goods on a three-tiered tray. The view of the night skyline from the high floors was beautiful, and I indulged in wine at a high pace while observing the night view and wealthy-looking guests. However, the staff's repeated offers to bring more drinks when my table was empty were a bit annoying. Overall, despite some over-the-top hospitality, I would like to use the Club Lounge again for the sense of escapism it provides.
