Visiting around 1 pm on weekends, you may find no other customers. The impressive display of a huge case showcasing sample products of bento boxes, with about 20 varieties available, and numerous golden fried items in the showcase. Consider purchasing a tonkatsu sandwich here, such as the Prosperity Fillet Katsu Sandwich priced at 500 yen. This sandwich is recommended for celebrations and special occasions, featuring a fillet katsu sandwich with a festive package symbolizing three blessings of happiness, good fortune, and victory. While the elaborate packaging may give the impression of a good deal, the taste is just average. It's best not to have high expectations for Saboten's fried items.

The onions were soft and flavorful. The taste is quite strong, similar to ginger pork. It wasn't to my liking. I also tried the shrimp cutlet sandwich. The plump shrimp cutlet was delicious.

I had the Cheese Mille-Feuille cutlet toasted. Cheese is sandwiched between the cutlets. It seems like there are layers of pork stacked thinly, but it doesn't feel that way. It's more like cheese sandwiched between pork cutlets. I think it would be more enjoyable if there were more layers like a mille-feuille, giving a plump and juicy feeling.
