I visited the restaurant hoping to try some ice cream, but they had very limited options available. I ended up buying a soda ice cream, apple pie, tiramisu chiffon, and chocolate bucky. The apple pie was crispy and delicious. I didn't try the others, but I want to come back and try more ice cream flavors next time.

I had a cake from Chateraise Hoya store! The prices are reasonable and they have a wide variety of cakes. It's a bit sweet so I can't eat too much. They have a lot of options in the store, but personally I prefer their ice cream. I enjoyed it.

It seems like the shop is trying hard not to raise prices. There were many customers even on weekdays. The special rich egg pudding costs 100 yen each. I was excited to see what it tasted like, but honestly, I thought it was delicious. I feel like buying this pudding if it's only 100 yen! Next time, I want to go buy some Ike candy. Thank you for the meal!

I found a Shatoreze on the depopulated side of Hoya Station. On weekends, there are many families there. So, if you try to buy ice cream, you might worry that it will melt while waiting in line. They have Chocobaki, which is also available individually. The prices are really cheap. Therefore, the quality of the ice cream and chocolate is low, but the crunchy texture of the chocolate is irresistible.

On September 5, 2021, around 6:00 PM, I visited alone wearing work clothes. The parking lot was available with no smoking allowed. Only takeout was available, and credit card payment was accepted. They had COVID-19 measures in place with hand sanitizer at the entrance, and the staff wore masks. I visited everyone's favorite (I think) Chateraise, a cake and sweets shop known for its great value. But honestly, their wine is a good deal too! This time, I will review the sweets. I saw online that Chateraise was selling Shine Muscat sweets, so I decided to buy them for my wife (actually for myself) after work. I went to Chateraise in my work clothes to get the Shine Muscat cup dessert, but most of the Shine Muscat desserts were sold out. The only thing left was Shine Muscat grape daifuku x2 and the popular (probably) Choco Baki. The frozen showcase had a note saying, "Sorry for the shortage of ice cream," but luckily they were selling Choco Baki. I felt like a lucky man! I'm a lucky man!! When I got home, my wife and I enjoyed the grape daifuku after dinner. The combination of the mochi, cream, and grape in the daifuku was not blended together but had separate flavors that were delicious. The grape was juicy, I guess. Well, it's hard to explain. The cream had a light sweetness. It was delicious. A few days later, I finally had the Choco Baki for breakfast. I purposely ate it for breakfast to avoid eating too many sweets at night (currently on a slight diet). Huh? I didn't feel the same excitement as the first time I ate it. The chocolate's crispy texture was still there, but the flavor seemed different... What's that? Maybe I got used to the taste? As I was eating, my wife said, "You bought the chocolate one this time, right?" "Huh?" "The one you had before was vanilla-flavored." Oh... I see, the first Baki I had was vanilla-flavored!! I was impressed when I had the vanilla one. I see, that's how it is. Until my wife pointed it out, I didn't realize it. I'm not me. The chocolate Baki is chocolate on chocolate, so the flavors are similar and overlapping. It's delicious, but I (annoyingly) prefer the vanilla one. The vanilla Choco Baki was sold out. That's why they had a notice about ice cream shortages. I just found out that there's also a banana-flavored Baki in the series. I want to try it. That's Chateraise, a wonderland of sweets. Chateraise also has wine. I'd like to visit a high-end store too, Chateraise. Be careful with the different Bakis at Chateraise. Chateraise wasn't this popular 10 years ago. (I used to buy an ice candy on my way back and eat it while walking home) Thank you, Chateraise, for everything. To those who haven't tried the Choco Baki yet, give it a try. There's more value than the price suggests. Thank you for the meal.

I had some business at Hoya Station, and while I was there, I came across a unique product called Yorimashita Karinto Manju. I decided to buy it out of curiosity, and it cost 97 yen. It was sweet with a firm outer layer, and it had a hint of the crunchy texture of karinto. However, since it's a manju, it didn't fully capture the crispy texture of karinto.

On October 11, 2020, Sunday, around 1:30 PM, my husband and I visited a dessert shop called Chateraise in a nearby park. The parking was available, credit cards were accepted, and they had COVID-19 measures in place such as hand sanitizer at the entrance and staff wearing masks. We originally planned to go to a popular shop in Oizumi Gakuen but it was too crowded, so we ended up at Chateraise. We decided to try the Cocoa Cookie Choux and Belgian Chocolate Ice Cream for 80 yen each (excluding tax). The desserts were delicious, with the choux being moist and crispy with a rich chocolate ice cream inside. It was a perfect treat for a break during our cycling trip. Chateraise offers a variety of desserts, from affordable options to celebration cakes and even house wines. I personally recommend the Choco Bucky and white wine. I look forward to trying more of their delicious desserts in the future. Thank you for the meal.

There is a shop called Chateraise in Shimotamagawa, Nishitokyo City. I decided to visit this shop after seeing a tweet from a follower who likes their ice cream. I went there with the intention of buying ice cream, so I packed two large ice packs in the trunk cooler box of my car. The shop is located at a convenient intersection with easy parking. They had a surprisingly wide variety of ice cream, and I wanted to try them all, but I had to be selective due to limited freezer space. I chose a few flavors and went to the checkout like in a supermarket. I purchased items such as Black Honey Kinako Soy Milk Vanilla (97 yen), Freshly Squeezed Milk Ice Cream (129 yen), Chateraise Premium Madagascar Vanilla, Fermented Butter Rum Raisin, Kyoto Uji Matcha, Strawberry (each 151 yen), Taiyaki Cream Puff Vanilla (97 yen), Japanese Sweet Ice Bar Matcha & Gyokuro Tea, and Tokachi Azuki (each 75 yen + tax). I also bought dry ice for an additional fee for peace of mind and took everything home. The sizes were just right, the flavors were delicious, and the prices were reasonable for the quality. I could understand why this place is popular, and I definitely want to go back to buy more in the future.

On December 21, 2019, Saturday, sunny weather, around 1 pm, my husband and I picked up the cake. We planned to have it for dessert after dinner. The store had parking and was non-smoking, and credit card payment was accepted. We purchased a Christmas cake from Chateraise this year, which came with separate strawberries, which was nice. This day was the first day of our Christmas party at home, and for some reason, we decided to have another Christmas party the next day. We planned to watch a movie and have yakiniku at home this day, so we bought a Xmas Strawberry White Decoration cake from Chateraise in advance. The size was just right for the two of us. We walked to the store to pick up the cake, then took the train back home. As planned, we had yakiniku and wine around 6 pm, and ended up quite drunk before enjoying the cake. The strawberries were separate, probably because the cake was transported frozen to the store. We had to put the strawberries on ourselves. We had the cake with coffee, and it was delicious. It was not too sweet, with only strawberry jam inside, but it was tasty. The whipped cream was not overwhelming, and the strawberries had a nice acidity, which was just right for me. If you prefer something sweeter, it might not be enough. It was my first time trying a Chateraise Christmas cake, and it was enjoyable. The size was just right. Perhaps there is an increasing demand for cakes of this size. Chateraise is affordable and delicious, but it seemed like the staff were under pressure, which was concerning. I wonder if they also sell cakes on the day of Christmas. Thank you, Chateraise, we will visit again next year. Thank you for the meal.

【Reason for visiting】I had some business to attend to nearby, so I did some research beforehand.【Atmosphere】The store is located a 6-minute walk from the station. The store's name on the ceiling is a landmark. The interior of the store is spacious with a wide variety of items.【Taste】● Yatsugatake Milk Kingdom Coffee Milk Bar 68 yen I realized after biting into it that I had bought "Coffee Milk Bar" thinking it was "Vanilla Milk Bar." It has a slightly weak coffee flavor but also a milk flavor, refreshing without leaving a sticky aftertaste, providing temporary relief from the heat. If it had been vanilla flavor, I think I could have given it a 3.5 rating. 3.3 out of 5 points (average 3 points)【Overall】I got a refreshing treat at a low price.

Tonight I visited the new Shatoreze store at the north exit of Hoya Station on the Seibu Ikebukuro Line. The store has a small parking lot in front and sells a variety of sweets, including Japanese and Western confectionery, and even wine. I purchased the fluffy Busse with Camembert & Walnut, Gorgonzola & Honey Cheddar, and Edam for 108 yen each, as well as the Custard Chocolat that melts in your mouth for 108 yen, and the ice cream bar Purete Excellent's Gateau Chocolat for 194 yen. The Busse had a slightly dry surface but a fluffy inside. The Cheddar & Edam were easy to eat without a strong flavor, while the Camembert & Walnut had a more distinctive cheese taste. The Gorgonzola was in small cubes inside the cream. I would give the Busse a rating of 3.3 stars and the Purete Excellent a rating of 4 stars. I would like to try the remaining two varieties as well. Overall, the sweets at Shatoreze these days are surprisingly delicious compared to the past when they were more affordable but average in taste. I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you for the meal!

On that day when I had a delicious time at "Hoshino", I received these sweets from my friend R who joined me! Thank you!! Lately, I've been more into Japanese sweets than Western sweets, so these sweets were just perfect for me. It turns out that Chateraise opened in Hoya, making it very convenient for R, my neighborhood sweets shop buddy, to stop by. I received a variety of dumplings: isobe mochi, mitarashi dango, and yomogi dango. I love them all! I was so happy. I love them all so I ate one of each. The mitarashi dango and yomogi dango were delicious. You can really taste the yomogi. The anko filling had a refined sweetness. The isobe mochi, being a rice dumpling, was easy to eat without choking. The slight soy sauce flavor was just right. Although it would have been easy to devour all three types, I, who am heading straight towards the path of gluttony, managed to stop myself here. Thank you for the feast!

I received some dango from "Satourese". Satourese is a chain store based in Yamanashi that specializes in factory-direct sales of ice cream, Western sweets, and Japanese sweets. Long ago, before they expanded nationwide, I used to pass by their store on the way from Ashiyasu to Kofu after finishing a summer climb in the Southern Alps. Not many people may know this, but back then their catchphrase was "Would you like some happiness?" I was always drawn to their sign and often stopped there for a break. They used to offer cheap snacks like ice cream and cream puffs. I never would have imagined back then that they would expand nationwide. The dango I received this time were the "Dango Trio": anko dango, mitarashi dango, and nori dango. They were all in cups, making them easy to carry and eat. The anko dango and mitarashi dango came on skewers with two pieces each. The anko dango had a mochi covering and, after a day, it had hardened slightly, but the mochi dango remained soft. The anko was just the right amount of sweetness. The dango itself was a standard softness. Overall, I think it's a nice dango for a casual snack. It's been a while since I had some, so now I'm craving some ice cream too.

Occasionally, I crave something sweet. I have visited the store in Higashikurume a few times. They have now opened a branch in my town, Hoya. Just like in Higashikurume, it's like a Disneyland for sweets. They have cakes, traditional Japanese sweets, baked goods, and gift box sweets. They also have ice cream in bags, which kids would love. They offer small-sized puddings, coffee jelly, and matcha pudding for only 100 yen each. Cakes are around 300 yen. It's not super delicious, but it satisfies my craving for something sweet. I really like the pudding à la mode and cream puffs. It's affordable, so I try not to pass by this store too often to avoid getting addicted to sweets. Thank you for the meal!

There are few dessert shops in front of Hoyai Station, but Chateraise has opened! The best thing about Chateraise is that it is very affordable. Cakes that would cost around 400 yen at other places can be bought for 100 yen or 200 yen here. They have a wide variety of ice cream and snacks, making it hard to decide what to choose. Every time I go, I find myself thinking "I'll buy that next time." I also like that they don't give out unnecessary paper napkins. I have become a regular at Chateraise. It's not a shop you see everywhere, so I'm really happy that it opened near my home in Hoyai Station.☆
