Located about a 5-minute walk uphill from Iidabashi, this restaurant in Kagurazaka has a cozy and welcoming atmosphere despite its relatively small size compared to the Shibuya branch. I tried the all-you-can-eat course featuring A5 grade wagyu beef. In addition to marbled wagyu beef and Yamagata pork, you can also order vegetables separately. The first vegetable assortment included leeks, Chinese cabbage, mizuna, enoki mushrooms, and shiitake mushrooms. I added leeks, Chinese cabbage, tofu, and kudzu starch. I was pleased to see the Chinese cabbage prepared with the core separated and sliced for easy cooking. After briefly cooking the thinly pink-colored meat in the hot pot, I drained it and enjoyed it with the house-blend sesame sauce and ponzu. The condiments included green onions and grated radish, and I added a bit of chili oil to the sesame sauce. The hot pot with plenty of green onions was perfect for warming up both body and soul in winter. Although I tend to overeat at Shabuzen's all-you-can-eat, this time I made an effort to order the finale of soba noodles. The finale consisted of grilled mochi and soba noodles, which was so delicious that I regretted not ordering it before. Currently, they do not accept electronic payments, but they are planning to introduce it soon. With reasonably priced and delicious all-you-can-eat options, it's a convenient place to enjoy a meal. I would definitely like to visit again.

I made a reservation at OZ and went there. Before having steak, I ate at another restaurant and it was delicious. They even gave me a complimentary drink for my birthday! I enjoyed my favorite grapefruit juice.

We arrived at 12:30 for our first visit, two of us. We ordered the marbled domestic beef sukiyaki set meal for 1650 yen. We were served pickled radish and salad. The sukiyaki arrived already prepared. It was a bit disappointing, but delicious. The egg was perfectly round and fresh. It was a large portion. The sauce was quite rich. The rice went well with it. The pickles were also good. For dessert, we had ice cream, which was not bad, but considering the price, it could have been better.

I have never experienced such high-quality shabu-shabu at an all-you-can-eat buffet. The meat, which is higher quality than black-haired wagyu rib roast, is excellent. Anything below this level honestly isn't very tasty, so they should just get rid of those courses, haha. The fact that you can enjoy this quality of food and drinks for 10,000 yen at an all-you-can-eat buffet is amazing.

The rating on Tabelog is mysteriously low, but I personally love this restaurant. The all-you-can-eat and drink course for 10,000 yen is amazing, especially for shabu-shabu. I have decided this is the place to go. The cheaper meat than the black wagyu rib roast doesn't look very delicious in the photos, so maybe that's why people rate it low? The staff's service is also great, so I am very satisfied.

The all-you-can-eat and all-you-can-drink deal is very affordable. The service surpasses that of a typical izakaya. The atmosphere is reminiscent of Kisoji, and it had been a while since I last enjoyed an all-you-can-eat and drink experience, but being able to order without worrying about the price is great. I was particularly satisfied with the service that allows you to enjoy both shabu-shabu and sukiyaki. Thank you for the meal.

It's close to Iidabashi Station (*ゝω・*)ノ It's a chain restaurant serving Japanese sukiyaki and shabu-shabu♪ I made a reservation through OZ (*'-'*) They gave me water and tea☆ I ordered the steak bowl♪ First, they served salad (*'▽'*), then the steak bowl with pickles and miso soup (*'-'*) After eating, they served dessert, which was melon (^^) I heard that the main store is in Roppongi and the headquarters is in Yotsuya! When I mentioned that I bought a delicious sukiyaki bento at the Ginza store the other day, they said, "Thank you<(_ _)>". They made a point card for me at the time of payment (>_<) It seems I will get a 5% discount with it (^^) The staff was very nice (*'-'*)

I used the all-you-can-eat shabu-shabu service. I enjoyed three types of meat: marbled beef, lean beef, and pork. There were also dipping sauces like sesame sauce and ponzu, and broth for the pork. Since it was all-you-can-eat domestic wagyu beef, I was satisfied with the quality of the meat. I could also get refills of vegetables, and the service was very pleasant. The all-you-can-drink option included a choice of two types of sake, which was nice. I ate and drank a lot and left with a full stomach! The pleasant service from the female staff in kimonos added to the enjoyment, so I am satisfied.

The underground restaurant exudes a high-class atmosphere with a calm ambiance. The servers in the hall are elegant in traditional Japanese attire. Even if dining alone, you can be seated in a private room. The marbled domestic wagyu beef sukiyaki set meal (¥1,650) is visually appealing with a variety of dishes, and eggs and rice are free for refills. It's recommended to visit on a weekday lunch when it's not crowded.

In Kagurazaka, there are several shabu-shabu and sukiyaki restaurants, some of which are fully booked a week in advance due to the season. However, we were able to make a reservation the day before at a restaurant with 58 seats. The most popular course is the "A5 Rank Grade 'Yamagata Beef Shabu-Shabu & Sukiyaki' All-You-Can-Eat" originally priced at 15,000 yen but discounted to 9,000 yen. We initially ordered a single beer, but eventually decided to go for the all-you-can-drink option with my partner. The drink menu changes for the all-you-can-drink option, but you can still choose options like Mio Brut, which is quite nice. The quality of the meat was excellent, with beautiful marbling as shown in the photos. There was a moment where the meat looked different, but it quickly returned to its original state. The taste definitely surpasses that of cheap chain restaurants. The ambiance and service of the restaurant are on par with places like Kisoji. However, it's a bit disappointing that drinks take a while to arrive, so it's best to order ahead of time.

Last week, I requested hot pot because it was cold, but when I got off at Iidabashi Station on the Tozai Line, the B3 exit was the farthest one and I was in a hurry. When I climbed the stairs, there was a slope and I was sweating (;´Д`) When I arrived at the restaurant, I was guided to a private room. I had the following courses: *Black Wagyu beef lean shabu-shabu course* ¥6500 and *all-you-can-drink course* ¥?. At first, I chose a regular menu and toasted with a Dewar's highball♪(*^^)o∀*∀o(^^*)♪ Later, I switched to the all-you-can-drink option and was surprised to find Ichiro's Malt available Σ(゚д゚;) From the second drink onwards, of course, I chose that, and I even had the largest beer glass in the restaurant. ☆Yamafugu somen made from konjac. Yes, it was a firm konjac somen. ☆Black Wagyu beef lean The sauces were sesame sauce and ponzu. The sesame sauce had chili oil and garlic, while the ponzu had scallions and grated daikon. It was so good!! I thought there was marbling in the lean meat, but it was tender and melted without feeling heavy, so I ate about five boxes of it! I used to prefer sesame sauce, but now I definitely prefer ponzu with scallions and grated daikon. ☆Vegetables Shiitake mushrooms, greens, enoki mushrooms, and leeks. I wrapped them in meat and ate a lot ← praised ☆Kuzukiri, cotton tofu Be careful not to let the kuzukiri fall through the net used for draining. ☆Pork loin Is this pork belly!? It had so much fat, I was surprised, but when I ate it shabu-shabu style, it wasn't heavy at all! It's thinly sliced, so you can keep eating. The sauce for pork was a salty broth, and it was so delicious that I wanted to drink it straight, so I tried dipping the beef in it, but pork definitely goes better with it. ☆Service mushrooms Bunapi, maitake, brown enoki, white maitake-like mushrooms, eringi, abalone mushrooms? The texture was good. ☆Shime's kishimen It had seaweed in it, making it slightly green and colorful. It was flat and slippery, and before I knew it, it was gone. You can also get rice if you ask for it. The staff constantly asked, "Do you have enough meat?" so it was stress-free. I usually don't eat beef willingly because it's heavy, but the black Wagyu beef here was so delicious, even better than pork! Thank you for the meal!

Located in a mixed-use building underground on Kagurazaka Street. There were quite a few private-like partitioned seating spaces. We ordered a course meal, and I ended up getting full before even eating the shabu-shabu. The meat was delicious, but it didn't leave a strong impression. The atmosphere of the restaurant was quiet, which was nice for enjoying the meal. Thank you for the meal.

Even during this time, it's reassuring to be able to eat in a private room at a shabu-shabu restaurant. The soba at the end was light and delicious. I want to go again! The edamame tempura was delicious. I didn't know they had a branch in Kagurazaka too. I've been to the one in Yotsuya before!

It was so empty. Choosing a private room for shabu-shabu is tough. I always go for the best all-you-can-eat meat. Sometimes I switch it up with pork for a change of pace. With beef, I usually just use ponzu sauce, but when I get pork, the broth comes out and I can use it for the beef too, which makes me happy. When I get a raw egg, I'm even happier. I thought I knew everything about Shabu Zen, but the last melon was more impressive than I expected. Even happier.

I went to Shabu Zen in Kagurazaka to eat shabu-shabu. I chose the all-you-can-eat course with domestic black wagyu beef because my junior colleague wanted to eat a lot. We were seated in a private room and started with corn tofu for appetizer, followed by a tempura platter, assorted sashimi, and rib roast shabu-shabu. We ended with kishimen noodles and mixed fruit jelly for dessert. This restaurant also offers regular menu options like rib roast and sirloin shabu-shabu and sukiyaki, but the all-you-can-eat option with the same meat choices is a great deal. I recommend the sirloin for those who enjoy fatty meat. The atmosphere in the private room was perfect for a small celebration, and the service from the staff was excellent. Overall, it was a satisfying dining experience with great service and delicious food!

I visited Kagurazaka Shabuzen for the first time in 2 years. Despite being under the weather in the cold weather, I needed to boost my stamina! However, I wasn't in the mood for yakiniku, I wanted something warm but not heavy, and I remembered this place. I made a reservation and it was the right decision. I arrived at 6:30 pm, and the place was already filling up with families, couples, and locals. The staff seemed very busy but they were very polite and attentive. I usually opt for the eat-all-you-can shabu-shabu here, but this time I chose the course with tiger pufferfish and black wagyu beef shabu-shabu (or sukiyaki) for ¥6,804. The course included appetizers, sashimi, fried tiger pufferfish, shabu-shabu (or sukiyaki), and dessert. I also had hot sake with it for ¥1,500. The appetizers were served in a cute basket and included whitefish ponzu, marinated greens, whitefish in sweet vinegar, seared octopus, and tiger pufferfish. The dishes were delicate and delicious, especially the marinated greens and seared octopus. The fried tiger pufferfish was amazing, and I couldn't resist finishing it despite being under the weather. The shabu-shabu with red meat and vegetables was also very satisfying. The meal ended with mochi-filled noodles and a dessert platter of strawberry mousse, cream, apples, and grapes. It was the perfect dinner to boost my energy and I felt ready to face the next day.

It's been a while since I had shabu-shabu! There were a few new staff members, so it felt a bit uncertain, but the meat was delicious, and I was happy that there was a strainer for the vegetables. The sauce remained tasty until the end without getting diluted, so I enjoyed it all the way!
