After a month passed in an instant, I'm finally posting again. A post-New Year's party gathering. Due to group restrictions, we had a small dinner party. We had high expectations for the refined atmosphere of the restaurant. We were led to a splendid private room, and it seemed like it would be a sophisticated dinner. The appetizers, sashimi platter, meat dishes, tempura, sushi - everything was delicious with an elegant touch. The appearance may seem simple, but the dishes and presentation are uniquely Japanese. This must be what it means to bring out the best in the ingredients. I wanted to go with sake, but opted for a light highball instead, and still found the meal satisfying. I received something good to start the new year. Grateful.

On January 24th, I went to Machida to attend a New Year's meeting. After the meeting, I went to Sushi Shima Machida store to eat sushi. I love sushi, so even during the pandemic, I ordered a variety of sushi sets and ate them. It was really delicious. When you eat your favorite food, you feel motivated to do your best for the next day.

Shimo Kawasaka is a famous yakiniku and sushi restaurant in Machida. It is a high-end place so I didn't have many opportunities to go, but I finally got a chance to visit. The interior of the restaurant is very luxurious, which made me a bit nervous at first, but the head chef and staff were very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I had the omakase sushi and sashimi with omakase sake. Everything I ate was delicious and satisfying. It is pricey, but they provide high-quality food that is worth the price. It's a wonderful restaurant that makes me want to come back again!

Sushi restaurant located on the second floor of a mixed-use building near Machida Station. The interior is bright and clean. During the state of emergency, alcohol was not available. You can enjoy sashimi and sushi to your liking. The chef is friendly and the atmosphere is relaxed. The sushi has a local feel. It would be nice if the rice could be a bit better. We ordered various items, so this is the price, but the weekend lunch is really reasonable. It's a different price range from dinner.

On August 26, 2017, before watching a movie, I went to Sushi Shimo Kaw for lunch. I had always been curious about this place, but I was a bit hesitant to go alone. However, the staff were very kind and welcoming. They had both table and counter seats, and I chose to sit at the counter. Since I was the only one at the counter, I received personalized service. I had steamed vegetables and various sushi such as lean tuna, squid, mackerel, marinated sea bream, salmon, egg, and golden eye snapper. Of course, I also had sea urchin, which is my favorite. The dessert was delicious, and I left the restaurant feeling satisfied.
