This is a Chinese restaurant located on the 3rd floor of Best Western Rembrandt Hotel Tokyo Machida. I wanted to have a leisurely lunch with my friend, so we opted for a Chinese course meal that we could enjoy while having a nice conversation. Since it was just after opening, there was only one other group of customers besides us when we entered, but gradually more people started to come in, with a mix of different age groups including families, couples, and groups of women. We ordered a draft beer for 680 yen and the Shark Fin Course for 3,800 yen. The "Shark Fin Course" included: - 4 types of appetizers (jellyfish salad, pickled vegetables, steamed prawns, smoked duck) - Shark Fin Soup - 3 types of dim sum (seafood, prawns, vermicelli) - Main dishes (stir-fried asparagus with large prawns, spring rolls, fried chicken) - Char siu and scallop fried rice - Dessert (almond jelly) The appetizers were well-balanced, especially the smoked duck which had a deep and delicious flavor. The shark fin soup had a refined soy sauce broth and a nice texture unique to shark fin. The dim sum lacked a bit of a chewy texture, but the vermicelli was juicy and flavorful. My favorites were the stir-fried asparagus with large prawns and the fried rice with char siu and scallops. The plump prawns were lightly seasoned, allowing the natural flavors of the prawns and asparagus to shine through. The fried rice had a prominent scallop flavor, making it a special dish. I was happy that I could try a variety of dishes in small portions. It was my first time experiencing this, but when we were seated, there was a mask holder on the table. It's just a piece of paper with slots to hold a mask, but I think it's a nice gesture considering that some people leave their masks spread out on the table in restaurants, which is not hygienic or aesthetically pleasing during a meal. The staff, although young, provided very polite service, making it a cozy restaurant. Thank you for the meal.
