The original restaurant review content has been translated into English below: "Udon Chiri Honten Nishika Honten" has a Google rating of 4.0 (total of 594 reviews) and a Tabelog rating of 3.56 (total of 260 reviews), which is very high. This place is perfect for a date in Shinsaibashi. The exterior of the shop looks like a traditional Japanese restaurant. It is a long-established shop with a charming and calm interior. Their specialty is called "Niku-tsuke" and it was delicious. You can choose between thin or thick udon noodles, and there are three types of soup flavors to choose from, including spicy oil. The soup had chunks of meat in it, and it was very tasty. I also tried adding an egg, which had a different color. The bill was around 1200 yen, which might be considered expensive for noodles, but the exterior, interior, and level of service were worth it. Nishika Honten is located at 1-18-18 Higashi Shinsaibashi, Chuo-ku, Osaka. They are open from 11:00 to 23:00 on weekdays and until 22:00 on weekends and holidays. #Nishika #Tsukemen #NikuTsuke #Tsukemen #Ramen #Specialty #ShinsaibashiLunch #ShinsaibashiGourmet #NambaRamen #NambaGourmet #NambaLunch #OsakaGourmet #OsakaLunch #Daimaru #FoodGram #Foodie #RamenLover #Sota #LikeForLike #FFF #Instagood #Instafood #Instalike #Ramen #Soba #Tsukemen #Zarusoba #UdonIsMyMainDish"

Today's lunch was in the Shinsaibashi area. I arrived at noon, a bit later than planned, and it was quite cold, so I decided to have the "Home-style Ja-Jang Ramen" for 1100 yen. The restaurant was almost full and it took 22 minutes from ordering to getting my food. I even had to ask a busy staff member for chopsticks. Despite the wait, the Ja-Jang Ramen was delicious. The chewy beef tripe, the well-seasoned soup with smooth egg, and the generous amount of chopped green onions made it a flavorful dish. I quickly finished my meal, but it was worth it. I added rice at the end to make Ja-Jang Rice and it was also delicious. I am grateful for a healthy body today.

The menu has changed again in September. It changes every month, which can be a bit difficult to decide. The restaurant is crowded even on weekdays, but it's better than weekends. I was planning to order my usual "meat dipping" dish, but I was intrigued by the "Chicken Tempura with Grated Daikon Set Meal for 968 yen including tax," so I decided to try that instead. The chicken tempura was large and filling, made with chicken breast. I enjoyed it with the grated daikon sauce. I chose the thick cold udon noodles for the set, which came with a different sauce. It's nice to have different sauces for each dish, as many restaurants usually use the same sauce. The set also included a soft-boiled egg tempura, so it was a very satisfying and filling meal.

I came to the udon restaurant affiliated with my usual soba place because it was crowded. I ordered the udon version of my usual meat dipping dish. It had a spicy oil flavor, which surprisingly went well with the udon. I ended up feeling quite full. However, while the menu has a wide variety, I felt that there were not enough options for cold dipping udon dishes. Personally, I think I would visit more often if they added more of those types of dishes to the menu.

On weekdays at 1pm, I waited for 10 minutes to order the "Original Sukiyaki Set with Udon (1518 yen)". During lunchtime, you can get a free large serving of rice and udon. This time, I ordered regular portions of both. The restaurant is spacious and has good turnover, so the wait time is not too long (I was seated in about 10 minutes). However, it took about 15 minutes for the food to be served. The sukiyaki udon had a sweet broth with plenty of beef. It also had tofu, Chinese cabbage, and green onions. The portion size was quite generous, and after finishing the rice and udon, I was full. The service was efficient with smooth operations by the waitstaff.

I really enjoyed the meal. The set meal I ordered was very filling and satisfying. However, the dashimaki tamago that I also ordered took a while to be served and only arrived after I had finished my meal. It was probably because they were busy. But other than that, I am satisfied!

I made a reservation for 1:00 p.m. on Sunday and visited the restaurant. There were a lot of young people waiting in line. The atmosphere inside the restaurant was nice and there were various menu options. I ordered the meat dipping noodles (with chili oil, cold noodles). The portion size seemed normal, but it was quite a lot and I couldn't finish it. I'm not a light eater, but I wished I had asked for a smaller portion. The noodles had plenty of meat and were delicious! The staff were all friendly, and I thought I would like to come back again. Even after finishing my meal and leaving the restaurant, there was still a line forming outside.

Highly rated udon restaurant nearby Shinsaibashi PARCO. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a Japanese and traditional feel that seems to appeal to overseas visitors. The service was very fast. - Hamo tempura: Hot and delicious, freshly fried. 5 pieces of hamo tempura and 1 okra tempura. - Eel sushi: Tasty, but a bit expensive. - Meat dipping udon with kettle-cooked noodles and chili oil: Comes with chili oil, yuzu pepper, and curry flavors. The chili oil is a bit spicy, so if you like spicy food, it's recommended. It has plenty of meat and comes with a raw egg for flavor variation. - Sukiyaki udon set meal: I love sukiyaki, so I chose this. It comes with raw egg, pickles, and rice. The broth is on the lighter side. The taste was delicious. The udon noodles were not as chewy as Sanuki udon.

On the way to the cafe I wanted to go to, I came across a building that looked like a fancy traditional Japanese restaurant. I checked on Tabelog and the reviews were pretty good, so I decided to give it a try. The udon was okay, nothing special, but the dipping sauce was really delicious! I ordered the unatama (eel and egg) but it was a bit overpriced for what it was!

I usually prefer soba over ramen, so I have been mostly visiting Nishiya for a while. It had been a long time since my last visit. I arrived just before noon but managed to get a seat. After looking at the menu, I decided to order the "Niku Tsuke" for 1,155 yen tax included. I usually go for the thin noodles, but this time I chose the thick noodles. Normally, the thick noodles are served hot, but they also offered it cold, so I went with that option. I ordered the regular size with yuzu pepper flavor. I didn't know they also had a small size option, as the regular portion was quite large (about 1.5 times the usual amount for tsukemen). In the future, I might go for the small size. The thick noodles were about four times thicker than the thin noodles, giving them a good chewy texture. They were similar to the slightly soft noodles you find at Marugame Seimen. Maybe the hot noodles would have been better suited for this dish, but I still enjoyed it. By the time I left, there was a line of about 8 people waiting at the entrance. It's quite popular. The service here is much better than at the neighboring restaurant.

It was my first visit. I made a lunch reservation so I was seated right away without any wait. I ordered the recommended meat-topped udon. It had sweet and savory simmered pork in a rich broth. I topped it with fried burdock and raw egg. The broth was so rich that I couldn't really taste the difference with the raw egg. The udon noodles were thick and filling. The menu is also quite extensive. I might try the sukiyaki or duck udon next time. It was delicious.

The atmosphere was calm and cool, and although the building itself was old, the interior of the restaurant was clean and comfortable. The summer special menu, Izumi Nasu, had just the right amount of pickles and the ginger garnish added a delicious kick. The Una-Tama (eel and egg on rice) was piping hot and filling, giving us a boost of energy. I had the chilled Kitsune Udon, which had firm noodles and tasty broth. Although I initially thought the portion was large, I ended up finishing it quickly without getting tired of the flavors. The fried tofu in the udon was perfectly cooked, with a generous size and a sweet taste. My husband had the beef udon and seemed to enjoy it as well.

Good evening. I am a salaryman from Minato-ku. I have been seeing a lot of basketball games since late August, especially with Ohtani injuring his elbow and the baseball season coming to an end. It seems like a good timing. However, where is Cabo Verde? I visited this place for lunch in Shinsaibashi. The building is a splendid 3-4 story wooden structure (although I'm not sure), with a nostalgic atmosphere of early Showa-era Japan. It has been in business for 76 years. I ordered a small eel rice bowl and sudachi udon set. The udon noodles were thin and slightly light brown in color, with decent firmness. The texture was more smooth than chewy. Adding a bit more sudachi might have brought a refreshing taste, but that could be because I ordered warm udon. The eel rice bowl, despite being small, was satisfying. I thought it was good value for money.

On this day, I had work in Shinsaibashi and decided to have lunch at "Udon Chiri Honke Nishiya" restaurant. When I arrived at the restaurant around 13:30, there were 4 people waiting inside. Despite being a three-story building with a very spacious interior, the restaurant was incredibly popular. I ordered the cold Niku Sudachi Udon. It took about 10 minutes from ordering to serving. I had seen pictures of Sudachi Udon or Sudachi Soba for the first time 2-3 years ago and had always wanted to try it. Finally, I got to experience it. The refreshing bonito broth with a hint of Sudachi was a perfect taste for summer. The thin noodles had a nice chew to them and were quite filling. The beef was sweet and savory, with a strong umami flavor. As time passed, the light broth soaked in and the sweet and savory flavors faded, so it's recommended to eat it quickly. It was a simple but deeply flavorful and delicious udon. The staff was polite and the atmosphere was charming, with a clean interior and effective air conditioning. It's no wonder the restaurant was always full, it was a lovely place. Next time, I want to go try their famous Niku Tsukemen. Thank you for the meal.

The other day, I visited Nishika, known for its omurice, as well as Noryoan, famous for its mitarashi, and other charming eateries in Minami with unique and nostalgic buildings. It's hard to replicate this atmosphere intentionally. The udon and tempura were delicious, but there were a few points that left me thinking, "hmm?" I visited for lunch this time, but I definitely want to come back for dinner to try more dishes on the menu. The staff's service was also very impressive, making it a restaurant I would love to visit again.

During my lunch break, I visited the restaurant. I had a tense meeting on Saturday and the heat was unbearable, so I wanted a light and easy-on-the-stomach lunch. I ordered the "Meat Mixed Miso Ramen." I was initially in the mood for something refreshing like cold udon with sudachi. The dish exceeded my expectations and I was very satisfied! The spiciness was a bit strong, but the combination of the minced meat and sweetness was amazing. The meat was incredibly delicious, with just the right amount of umami and sweetness. I highly recommend the meat option. Although the lunch was a bit pricey, I might come back soon for another visit.

There were so many different options to choose from that I was really indecisive, but since it's my first time here, I went with the famous meat dipping udon! I had a hard time choosing between spicy chili oil, yuzu pepper, and curry powder for flavoring, but I went with chili oil this time! For the noodles, I debated between thin cold noodles and thick boiled noodles, but ended up choosing thin cold noodles! I got a regular portion. The timing was perfect as my order arrived quickly. Even the regular portion of udon was quite filling. The dipping sauce was packed with meat and had a delicious sweet and spicy flavor. It was so good! The noodles were long, so it was a bit difficult to untangle them. I ended up giving up and cutting them. (laughs) The burdock root and egg added a nice texture and creaminess. And the chili oil was definitely the right choice. I love this! There are so many other menu items that caught my eye, so I'll have to come back again. Next time, I want to try reducing the amount of udon and adding tempura.

I made a reservation and went to have lunch. Thanks to the reservation, we got a private room. We were able to relax in a spacious seat. There were many types of udon noodles, some of which were not commonly seen elsewhere. I was really indecisive because all of them looked appealing, but this time I chose the sukiyaki-style dipping noodles. I could choose between hot or cold noodles, so I chose hot. The other udon noodles my friend ordered seemed to offer a choice between thin and thick noodles. The taste was... delicious! The meat had a nice sweetness to it, which paired well with the udon noodles. Whether you choose hot or cold noodles, the dipping sauce is warm, so it might be better to choose cold noodles to prevent them from getting soggy.

Specialty dish: Meat dipping noodles! You can choose between cold thin noodles and kettle-boiled noodles. Since it was hot today, I chose the cold thin noodles. I ordered a normal amount of noodles. For flavoring, you can choose from chili oil, yuzu pepper, or curry. I chose chili oil. I was surprised by the amount of noodles when they arrived! There were a lot of noodles, which made me laugh. The udon noodles were soft, so I could eat them, but there were a lot. The meat in the dipping sauce is pork, and there is also a lot of meat. The chili oil for flavoring comes with a raw egg, so it was delicious, but next time I will order fewer noodles. This lunch spot has a variety of unique dishes, so I would like to visit again!

I had a dish of conger eel and summer vegetable tempura udon. You can choose between thin or thick udon noodles. A beautiful bowl of udon arrived. This is the kind of dish that increases your appetite ^ - ^ I devoured it in an instant. Delicious! I want to eat it again! Perfect for a hot day♪

I can't afford to go to such an expensive restaurant unless I'm on a trip! The udon was delicious. The broth and noodles were both light, and the tempura was so lightly seasoned that it was a bit tough for me, a country person. The air conditioning was freezing, but we all had a great time dining together.

I went to have lunch on a hot day. I met up with my family in Shinsaibashi, but it was so hot that I lost my appetite. So, I decided to eat some cold udon noodles at this restaurant. I've been here a few times before, but this is my first time writing a review. It was crowded at lunchtime, so we ended up on the second floor for the first time. On the second floor, you have to take off your shoes. The spacious seating with plenty of room between tables was nice. I ordered the special egg rice bowl and tempura udon set for 1075 yen. Despite saying I wasn't that hungry, I ended up getting the rice bowl set, typical of me (^_^;) I have a big appetite, haha. The egg rice bowl was so creamy, with just the right amount of firmness in the rice, it was really delicious. The tempura at this udon restaurant is always good, and the udon noodles had a nice chewiness. The relaxed atmosphere and the reasonable price made it even better. My family ordered the eel and summer vegetable tempura udon for 1408 yen, and they said the eel tempura was really delicious... I wish I had tried it too!! I was feeling a bit tired from the summer heat, but after eating the delicious udon, I felt full of energy again. Thank you for the meal.
