Feasting in Kinshicho! [Visit: 2023.9.13] Today, I had ramen for lunch in Kinshicho. It's located along National Route 14. It's a ramen shop with a roof, like an arcade. I've known about this place for a long time but never had the chance to go... Finally, today, I made a sudden visit. You order by speaking instead of using food tickets. I decided to try the Special Ramen (¥970). I ordered firm noodles with extra lard. After a short wait, it arrived. The soup is a pork bone soy sauce with a layer of lard floating on top. It has a good pork flavor, and the soy sauce adds a nice touch. It's rich, refreshing, easy to drink, and delicious. The noodles are medium-thin curly noodles. There's a plaque from Asakusa Kaika-rou displayed inside the shop. I ordered them firm. They have a firm texture with a good chewiness. They mix well with the soup. The chashu is a beautiful pork belly roll. There are about three slices. It's tender and you can taste the meaty goodness. The bamboo shoots are not fibrous and are tender. They are seasoned just right. The flavored egg is slightly on the firmer side, leaning towards half-cooked. It has a light seasoning. The bean sprouts have a crunchy texture. It's a ramen with a lot of lard, offering a satisfying and easy-to-eat meal. The menu is extensive, so it's convenient if you're nearby. Broth: Pork Bone Soy Sauce Noodles: Medium-thin noodles Toppings: Chashu, Bamboo Shoots, Flavored Egg, Bean Sprouts, Seaweed, Green Onions

After working overtime and feeling hungry, I wandered the streets and decided to try out the local chain restaurant Hustle Ramen for the first time. It's about a 5-minute walk from Kinshicho Station South Exit. I had to push through the night time chaos of the flamboyant individuals to get there. I ordered the summer limited edition cold ramen (750 yen) and some gyoza (280 yen). Inside the restaurant, the counter was filled with solo diners enjoying their ramen quickly. The table seats had a more izakaya-like atmosphere. The cold ramen had a gentle, Japanese-style flavor which was decent. Surprisingly, the gyoza was delicious! Next time, I'll try their specialty Chachacha-style ramen with plenty of back fat.

Recently, the lunch at Tachiichi and PayPay's Otoki no Chikara has been really crowded. I went for lunch on a weekday and had to wait a bit outside before being seated at the counter. This time, I ordered the cold ramen for 750 yen and added the lunch set (3 grilled dumplings and rice) for 120 yen. The total came to 870 yen, with a 261 yen cashback. The cold ramen had a Japanese taste to it, similar to the one I had at Sharyo in Ryogoku recently. However, in terms of taste, temperature, noodles, and overall quality, Sharyo was definitely on a higher level. Well, this place is more casual and the set is a good deal. The ramen also came with 3 slices of pork.

Visited on Sunday afternoon at 11:30. There was already a line, possibly due to the PayPay festival. I think I waited in line for about 20 minutes. I ordered the Hustle Ramen lunch set, which came with rice and 3 gyoza. I also got a boiled egg with a coupon. The ramen had a good amount of noodles, and the regular size was enough. The pork fat wasn't too heavy, which was nice. The boiled egg and rice went well together.

The order was "Hustle Salt Ramen, extra fatty" + "vegetable topping" + "Tabelog coupon seasoned egg", totaling 920 yen. Thanks to the Sumida Ward PayPay campaign, Hustle Ramen offers a 30% discount, making it a cheat day with guilt-free vegetables added for extra deliciousness (laughs). Thank you for the meal.

With a 30% discount on PayPay, my friend and I decided to visit this place. The menu offers a variety of options, including alcoholic drinks, so the majority of customers seem to use it as an izakaya. We ordered the retro ramen and gyoza. We also used a coupon on Tabelog for a free egg, but the retro ramen already came with one, so we ended up with two eggs in total. The ramen was surprisingly easy to eat and quite filling. This place is convenient for satisfying your ramen cravings and enjoying drinks, ramen, and gyoza all in one spot.

The order was "Japanese-style cold ramen" for 750 yen at Hassle. It was my first time trying cold ramen, and it truly had a Japanese-style soup with a refreshing bonito flavor. Despite being the cheapest ramen on the menu, it was a great deal with toppings such as 3 slices of chashu, half a flavored egg, menma, kaiware, and green onions. Currently, Hassle is participating in the PayPay Sumida Ward campaign, offering a 30% cashback. It was a satisfying meal, although I couldn't help but regret the calories. Thank you for the meal!

Ningyocho is a city with many temptations. After hopping between two establishments, it became clear that we were lacking in carbohydrates. Naturally, we found ourselves gravitating towards Hopeken. The ramen shops these days may be popular, but for us, "Hassle" has a special appeal. Inspired by a merchant from Yangzhou, the gentle clear broth with the richness and sweetness of back fat was a delight to have after a drink. It was delicious as always. Thank you for the meal. ☆ Soba Ranking Inspired by Hopeken ① Hopeken (Sendagaya) 4.0 ② Hopeken Main Store (Kichijoji) 3.9 ② Murayama Hopeken (Musashimurayama) 3.9 ② Heita Shu (Osakihirokoji) 3.9 ⑤ Hassle Ramen Honma (Ningyocho) 3.8 ⑥ Asagaya Hopeken (Asagaya) 3.7 ⑥ Chigusa Jiman Ramen (Sugamo) 3.7 ⑧ Hopeken (Maruyama Kita) 3.6 ⑧ Sekiyake (Shinkoiwa) 3.6 ⑩ Kougetsu (Gotanda) closed 3.5 ⑪ Nogata Hope (Main Store) 3.5 ⑪ Kannaichi Tossakko (Ikebukuro) 3.4 ⑪ Genraku (Higashi Ginza) 3.4 ⑪ Benkei (Asakusa Main Store) 3.4 ⑪ Nogata Hope (Meguro) 3.4 2023.08.26 Includes Inspired Series

I tried adding wakame topping to the Hustle Ramen! I thought it might be the most orthodox menu, so I ordered it, and when it came out, I was surprised by the amount of pork fat, but when I tried it, it didn't feel too heavy. It had a nice balance of soy sauce ramen's refreshing taste and just the right amount of pork fat. I really liked this ramen. I don't go to Kinshicho often, so I don't know if I'll have the chance to come back, but I definitely want to eat it again!

I probably visited this place for the first time in about 15 years. I felt like eating it for free, so I went last week, but it was full, so I came back this week. There were bean sprouts under the green onions, and there was no shortage of green onions, but I thought, "Oh, bean sprouts." The noodles are medium-thin and easy to eat. Despite being a tonkotsu-based ramen, it wasn't that heavy. I was surprised at myself for not being as impressed as I used to be after trying so many different ramen shops in the past 15 years. However, the customer next to me seemed to be a regular and a ramen enthusiast, as they ordered a special miso ramen with extra toppings and two eggs. It looked like a huge portion. They seemed to be really enjoying it!! There were many different menu options, so I'm thinking of going back again.

The order was "Hustle Salt Ramen, firm noodles, extra fat" + "leek topping" + "small rice", totaling ¥970. Eating ramen late at night, ignoring calories and carbohydrates, how sinful it is (laughs). According to my friend, it's like a generic Benkei, delicious. Thank you for the meal.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Kinshicho, but I hadn't been to this restaurant for a while. This time, I added an egg to my usual Hustle Ramen with soy sauce. I felt that it had become milder compared to before. The richness also seemed to have decreased slightly. I adjusted the seasoning and enjoyed it. It was good to be able to visit after a long time.

This was my first time trying chilled noodles this year! After feeling a little unsatisfied with the lunch I just had, I noticed a sign for chilled noodles next to the restaurant. Without hesitation, I decided to visit and order. I didn't realize how good this restaurant was before. The noodles were delicious and the ingredients were fresh. I think I'll make this place a regular stop from now on.

It was my first time, so I ordered the Hustle Ramen with normal oil and normal noodles. It has a good cost performance, but it was a bit lacking... Next time, I will try the Revival Ramen with extra oil. The service was quick and the interior of the restaurant was clean. It was nice that the drink was tea, refreshing.

This time, I visited the Hassle Ramen Kinshicho store. Hmm, I don't think there is anything particularly outstanding about it. I thought the soup would be thick and oily with a rich flavor, but it was actually a thin soup with little umami. The noodles didn't seem to have any special characteristics and were cooked slightly firm. The toppings also felt like they were just thrown on. The chashu wasn't tasty either. The interior of the store was greasy and lacked cleanliness. It might be okay if you really crave ramen, but that's about it.

A convenient store that stays open late. I went there past 1 am and the place was about 80% full. Maybe because it was a Friday? The taste was average, but the atmosphere was nice so I ended up having both ramen and tsukemen. I would like to go back if I have the chance.

Oh, I really want to hustle. As I wandered around, I spotted the word "Hustle". This must be it. I entered the store and was guided to a sofa seat at the back. Can I hustle here? I looked at the menu and saw the number one popular item labeled as "Reprint". It seemed to be a ramen shop. I ordered the Reprint Special with extra black seaweed. After a few minutes of waiting, the ramen arrived. I scooped up the oily soup with a ladle and took a sip. Wow, this is good. I love this rich flavor. The oil coating the noodles is just perfect. I was so full that I can't remember much, but the portion was a bit too much for a finishing dish after drinking. Great value for money, and the taste is excellent. For those seeking a dish with a rich flavor, I recommend this place.

I randomly walked into this shop, but the sweetness of the pork fat was noticeable, and the noodles had a good firmness and were delicious. It goes really well with garlic, and adding a little extra enhances the flavor significantly. They had set menus, but I was completely satisfied with just the ramen. I think it pairs really well with rice too.

After midnight, I went to Hassel in search of ramen. The tables were full, but there were seats available at the counter. I sat at the counter and ordered the Special Salt Ramen with gyoza and rice set. The food arrived in 7-8 minutes. I always think, can't they serve the ramen separately? I want to savor it without it getting soggy.

I was invited by a friend who lives nearby to try a delicious ramen late at night. I had a tonkotsu ramen with plenty of pork fat. Feeling guilty but it was worth it! I added vegetables as toppings to my ramen. It had a lot of garlic which gave it a strong flavor. The restaurant kept getting more and more customers coming in.
