Lunch and dinner both provided an amazing experience at this restaurant. I finally visited it this year with my boss and a senior colleague from work. The quality of the seafood and the excellent service at the restaurant make it a place I can confidently recommend to important people. The must-try dishes at this restaurant are the luxurious sashimi platter and the seared bonito. The bonito, seared over straw, has a wonderful aroma and the fatty texture just melts in your mouth. The thickly sliced sashimi cuts, with 7 varieties per serving for less than 1000 yen, are unbelievably affordable. I also highly recommend the rich cream croquette made with cherry shrimp, a favorite of @jeannedarco0708. The cherry shrimp aroma and texture, combined with the rich cream, create an outstanding flavor, making it the best croquette I've ever had. Even after having about 5 drinks per person, the total cost was still under 6000 yen, making it a great value for money. The wide selection of shochu and sake, along with the excellent quality of the lunch service, makes this restaurant a hidden gem in an area that may not be familiar to those outside of the northern part of Osaka. It's definitely worth a visit!

Limited lunch with added sea urchin. Finally, I was able to visit as our schedules aligned. This local restaurant is always full of local customers. The seafood here is delicious, and this time I chose the tuna cheek meat and Spanish mackerel from the straw-grilled series! This was my first visit in a while to this restaurant. The seafood here is delicious as always! This time, I ordered a sashimi platter with 7 different kinds of fish, deep-fried eggplant, and rolled omelette. I paired it with an ice-cold Super Dry beer. The sashimi was incredibly delicious. I definitely want to visit this restaurant regularly. Thank you for the meal!

I was invited by an acquaintance to a delicious restaurant near the station, but it was a bit hard to find. I visited around 7 pm on a weekday, and the restaurant was full, so you can expect a busy atmosphere. The tuna seared on the head that came out as the first dish was incredibly delicious. The sashimi platter with 7 varieties of thickly sliced fresh fish was also very tasty, with no fishy smell at all. The other dishes were also delicious, but it was disappointing that the fried chicken and dashimaki ordered as the first order took about 2 hours to arrive. The restaurant had a casual atmosphere where you can enjoy delicious fish, but the seating was a bit cramped, and the noise from the surrounding tables was a bit bothersome. Overall, it was a great meal, and I would like to visit again.

Sashimi lunch for ¥2000. This sashimi lunch is announced irregularly on Instagram stories. The price is ¥2000. I made a reservation and went. The sashimi changes daily, so it's a surprise what you'll get. This time, there was conger eel, medium fatty tuna, sea bream, yellowtail, bonito, etc. Some were seared and all were fresh and delicious. Honestly, there was a price increase, it used to be around ¥1500 before, so it's a bit disappointing, but it can't be helped. There were side dishes like rolled omelette and tofu, and overall it was a generous and tasty meal.

I was honestly surprised to find such a great restaurant in Ibuki. The assorted sashimi plate was fantastic in terms of quality and quantity, and even the 7-piece plate was only 790 yen per serving. The seared tuna cheek tasted like a steak and is a must-try. They also have a wide variety of sake, so I will definitely be visiting again.

It's a bit hard to find as it's located a little off the main street with an overpass. Thanks to Google Maps, I was able to arrive. The atmosphere inside the restaurant is lively. The dish that came out with the chicken and tofu was amazing! The silky smooth yuba and plump firefly squid were outstanding. Under the firefly squid was a side of boiled greens and whelk. Just this alone makes the beer disappear. The sashimi platter, which I learned about from everyone's reviews, was all incredibly fresh! The thick cut fatty tuna was so rich that it was difficult to pick up with chopsticks. The knife work on the Japanese flying squid was beautiful. Wow ♡ The abalone even came with its liver attached. The tomato and whitebait salad was also delicious. It seems that this place specializes in seafood. The deep-fried tofu is my favorite. The taste of the dashi broth is also excellent. The hot scallop cream croquette had large chunks of scallop inside. The contrast between the sticky cream and crispy fried batter was wonderful. I had the Shinsen and Tagaji Japanese sake. Both were elegant and fragrant. They were more on the light side, but had a crisp finish. The staff at the restaurant are all hard workers. Or rather, it's a very busy place where they have to work their hardest to keep up. I would love to have a similar type of restaurant nearby.

I have visited this restaurant about 7 or 8 times now, recommended by a close friend. The sashimi is delicious, especially the 7 kinds of sashimi, and the toro and tuna cheek sashimi. The quality is so good that the word "delicious" naturally comes out of my mouth multiple times. Unfortunately, the sake I wanted was sold out, which disappointed my son, but as I couldn't drink and drive, I was satisfied with my favorite mango juice. We enjoyed a good 2 and a half hours of delicious time.

It's a restaurant that is quite difficult to make a reservation at, but I happened to find an available seat. There are 4 seats at the counter and about 5 tables. Generally, it's hard to get in without a reservation. The appetizers included yuba, sweetfish nanban, and eel ball. We ordered a sashimi platter, bonito tataki, dashimaki, fried fish cake, and fried eggplant. All the dishes were of Michelin-class quality. The fish tataki is smoked on a straw grilling table before being served. The selection of ingredients and cooking skills are excellent. They also have a wide range of drinks. You can order from half a cup, and the menu book describes the taste profile, making it easy to order even without much knowledge. Considering the delicious food and variety of drinks, it's no wonder that it's hard to get a reservation. In Osaka, a bill of 10,000 yen per person wouldn't be unreasonable. It's a typical hidden gem that you might not want to share with others.

Tuesday, November 21, 2022. I made a reservation early (^o^)v at the popular seafood restaurant and sake bar, Ikukihisa in Minami Ibaraki. It was our first drinking party of the year with my wife, my sister-in-law, and her husband - finally! (^o^)v It's the first time meeting my brother-in-law this year, but Happy New Year! (laughs) We arrived at 6:30 pm, and there was a sign at the entrance saying the restaurant was fully booked. It's really popular! (^o^)v The time limit is two and a half hours. Since my brother-in-law was running late due to work, the three of us started with a toast! ✨✨ My wife and I had draft beer, and my sister-in-law had a chu-hi. We started with three kinds of appetizers. Ikukihisa's appetizers always go well with alcohol and are always exciting. This day, we had a vinegar dish with early-picked premium mozuku from Izena Island, mixed with nagaimo. It was delicious! I love mozuku ❤️(((*≧艸≦)ププッ And of course, we always order the assorted sashimi when we come here. We ordered the seven kinds assortment for 1490 yen (for 2 people) plus 790 yen for each additional person. We ordered 3 servings. The sashimi, mainly made with natural fish, was thick and satisfying, beautifully arranged, and looked delicious! My wife and I like to eat it with salt and wasabi. Each piece was fatty and delicious, and the wasabi was not overpowering ❤️( ゚Д゚)ウマー( ゚Д゚)ウマー✨ It was amazing! They also included straw-grilled fish! ( ゚Д゚)ウマー We ordered a bottle of our favorite black sugar shochu Ryugu and had it with soda. My sister-in-law, who loves sake, ordered the Tatenokawa sake. We also had cod whitefish ponzu, conger eel tempura with grated daikon sauce. The alcohol was flowing! ( ゚Д゚)ウマー My brother-in-law joined us, and the four of us enjoyed drinking and eating together. The restaurant was packed, and the staff were very busy! It was so lively! My sister-in-law had the Tatenokawa Junmai sake next, and then a super limited edition, cloudy sake from Tatenokawa! My brother-in-law, who loves beer, had a bottled beer. We also had crispy nagaimo, Iburi-gakko cream cheese, and fried Camembert cheese. How much do you love cheese? (laughs) Everything was incredibly delicious! We also had grilled smelt and beef tendon stew. Before we knew it, it was time for the last order. The next reservation guests were already waiting outside the restaurant! It's so popular! We barely made it in time for the lotus root mentaiko cheese tempura, and it was rushed to us. This was also so delicious! My wife said, "This is the best dish today!" The payment was made in cash, and it's done at the table here. It was truly amazing! A must-visit, popular restaurant! This restaurant in Kita-Setsu is amazing. Not only is the food delicious, but they also have a great selection of shochu. You can enjoy Flamingo all year round and they have many rare shochu options. It's the best place to go. It's a bit inconvenient to get to from Minami-Ibaraki and Osaka city, but that's actually a plus. I want this place to become popular, but I also don't want it to become too hard to get a reservation.

On August 21, 2022, Sunday at 6:00 pm, we visited the extremely popular restaurant, Ikuhisa in Minami Ibaraki. We made the reservation last month as this place is always fully booked. We started with a toast with a glass of draft beer at the counter. Both the table and counter seats were full of customers. We enjoyed three appetizers as starters, and the mackerel sandwich was delicious. We ordered a platter of seven kinds of sashimi, which was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. The tuna, red snapper, steamed abalone, and Ishikage clam sashimi were all amazing. We paired the sashimi with salt and wasabi, and it was perfect. We then had shochu with soda and Flamingo Orange soda. We tried the recommended dish, conger eel and plum cheese spring rolls, which were incredibly tasty. We also ordered the salt koji-grilled young chicken, which we always enjoy. To our surprise, the restaurant had kept a bottle of black sugar shochu Ryuuguu, which we thought was sold out. We were grateful for that. We enjoyed the Ryuuguu with soda, making a refreshing drink. We also ordered the Changjaku cream cheese for a relaxing time. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience on a holiday. Thank you for the delicious meal!

I usually order medium fatty tuna sashimi, but this time I also ordered horse mackerel. In addition to fish, the meat dishes like Kichi Nanban are also delicious! We completely fell in love with the three regulars and a new neighbor, and our desire to visit the famous seafood restaurant "Kaizen Ryori to Sake Ikuhisa" in Minami Ibaraki exploded. After receiving a strong recommendation from my followers, I finally visited "Kaizanryori to Sake Ikuhisa" for lunch, and promised to return for dinner once the pandemic was over. It had been months, and I was afraid of being called out for not keeping my word, so I finally made the visit. Due to the pandemic prevention measures, we had a two-hour time limit until 9 pm. We started with the recommended sashimi platter with 7 types of fish, and we were all speechless after just one bite. The quality was exceptional, and the price was around 700 yen per serving. It was so delicious that we couldn't believe fish could taste this good. Next, we tried the recommended maguro cheek meat tataki, which made us forget it was fish the moment it touched our tongues. Lastly, we asked for the firefly squid namero, which wasn't on the menu, but the staff kindly prepared it for us. It was my first time trying it, and it was incredibly delicious. As expected, following my sister's recommendations never disappoints. We also couldn't resist ordering more, like the crab miso tofu from the appetizer and the tarako cheese fried in lotus root. We may have ordered too much, but we devoured everything. In conclusion, every dish we tried was outstanding. Thank you for the wonderful meal, we will definitely be back. This restaurant is always full, but when I called on the day, miraculously there were only 2 seats available! As usual, I ordered sashimi and fried food. They also have a great selection of alcohol, including shochu and sake. They have limited edition sake as well, so it's always exciting. The medium fatty tuna, bonito, and crab cream croquette are must-try dishes!
