Denny's July seasonal parfait is The Sunday with fresh peach. The peaches used are in season from Yamanashi, Fukushima, and other regions. The selection of ingredients is similar to a parfait specialty store. The top is adorned with peach. Surprisingly, there are no overly sweet elements. It is constructed with 14 ingredients including plum gelato, flavored cream, milk gelato, etc. It is unique to use ingredients with a plum flavor that are also in season at the same time. Along the way, there are milk pudding, lemon cheese-like cream, peach jelly, etc., providing a variety of flavors where the peach appears, changes to other flavors, and then returns to peach. The changing flavors are truly enjoyable. The price is 1540 yen including tax. At first glance, it may seem a bit expensive, but after eating it, it feels like a good value.

It's convenient to casually enter a family restaurant, abbreviated as "famiresu," further abbreviated as "famisu," and even more abbreviated as "fas." It's just "fa." The local shops provide a truly relaxing space with a slightly nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of a Showa-era coffee shop. It's nice to feel that relaxed vibe.

At "Denny's", try the DEVIL'S Brownie Sundae (603 yen). This is a popular classic dessert at Denny's. It comes with a chocolate plate with the Denny's logo on top, mint, brownie, whipped cream, chocolate ice cream, vanilla ice cream, chocolate pudding, banana, cocoa cones, and chocolate sauce. It's a great deal! The balance may be a bit off with too many cocoa cones similar to Kellogg's Choco Waffle, but if you're in the mood for a chocolate overload, this is highly recommended!

"Lemon The Sunday" from Denny's starting at 878 yen (tax included) - Denny's has started using lemon in their dessert menu. With the phrase "Lemon & Cheese," there were various dessert menu items featuring lemon. Among them, I ordered the largest one with a Sunday structure. Although it looks like a parfait, it is actually a Sunday. The main ingredients listed on the menu included lemon slices, lemon sauce, whipped cream, raspberries, lemon sorbet, lemon cheese ice cream, lemon cheese cream, lemon jelly, nata de coco, lemon card, granola, banana, pound cake, and vanilla ice cream, totaling 14 items. The main lemon used was Sunkist (American), providing a fresh taste with the perfect balance of acidity and sweetness. Using a long parfait spoon, I enjoyed the different flavors and textures as I ate through the layers. It was a satisfying Sunday that exceeded my expectations in terms of taste and enjoyment. Denny's really did a great job with this menu! Highly recommended dessert for this summer. However, despite the deliciousness and value of the dish, I had some issues with the service. After going to the restroom and returning to my seat, I found a stranger sitting there. It turned out that the staff had not communicated the seat availability properly. Eventually, I was seated at a different table, but I hope they improve their internal communication and seating arrangements. This was a surprising experience for me, and I was taken aback by the lack of coordination in the restaurant.

Deny's in front of Machiya Station. It's located on the second floor of a pachinko parlor. I visited with my child for lunch. We sat by the window. I ordered a kids' lunch, a set with a large cut steak, and a non-alcoholic beer. The large portion of rice was complimentary. Children under 3 get free access to the drink bar. When they brought grape juice, it tasted weak. I thought that's how it was supposed to be until another customer told the staff that the taste was different. They quickly replenished it, and the grape juice became delicious. The taste was average, as expected from a family restaurant.

Starting from November, there will be a limited-time collaboration with Godiva for the "Godiva Chocolate Sundae". Since Godiva itself does not offer dessert menus, this is a rare opportunity to enjoy their parfait. The sundae includes 8 ingredients: raspberry, ganache, cocoa powder, caramelized banana, cocoa sorbet, cocoa cone, cocoa jelly, banana, and chocolate sauce. It is not overly sweet like typical chocolate milk, but rather has a rich and satisfying weight to it. The chocolate melts slowly in your mouth, allowing you to savor the different textures of each component. The combination of bananas, which pair well with the growing environment, is the main focus, while the chocolate maintains a consistent and rich flavor. This slightly heavier dessert is perfect for the dry and cold season.

Denny's has started selling a limited edition parfait called "Shine Muscat The Sunday" since September 2020. It features a top layer of Shine Muscat grapes equivalent to 5 grapes. The parfait includes fresh cream, vanilla ice cream, white grape sorbet, muscat cream, nata de coco, mascarpone cream, and white chocolate sandwiched with Shine Muscat. It does not use custard but instead uses mascarpone cream to enhance the natural sweetness of the grapes. The grapes are crispy and cut cleanly, offering a refreshing sweetness of muscat, and the ingredients blend together seamlessly. The concept of white grapes throughout the parfait ensures a harmonious and beautiful presentation. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, the development of chain store parfaits continues to excel, showcasing their innovative capabilities.

After having lunch, I used a birthday coupon from the app! It was a free coupon, but the dessert was luxurious. Warm pancakes topped with cold ice cream... sprinkled with granola. I had it right after lunch, but I finished it all in no time. I used to dislike it when Denny's switched to a drink bar, but I've gotten used to it. The coffee is delicious if you choose the Seven Coffee machine.

This shop is one that I often use for lunch. It tends to get quite crowded during lunchtime, so I recommend going early (lol). After finishing my lunch, I still had some time before my next appointment, so I decided to have some dessert as well. I ordered the Mini Pumpkin Parfait for 499 yen plus tax. It was a limited-time menu, and there were also parfaits with purple sweet potato and chestnut, but I chose the pumpkin one for Halloween (lol). The creamy pumpkin was delicious, and it seemed like there were bits of pumpkin mixed into the ice cream as well. The tender pumpkin was also tasty. The gentle sweetness of the pumpkin made it a nice dessert. Thank you for the meal.

You can enjoy the retro Arakawa Line tram and the impressive Keisei Electric Railway passing by at Denny's, which also has a train cafe vibe. The age group of customers is on the higher side, perhaps due to the lack of nearby universities, creating a relaxed atmosphere. The spacious interior and waiting area are quite large. The transition from paper to electronic ordering in spring 2019 was convenient, although some customers may have initially found it confusing. One minor issue is the difficulty in distinguishing between "water" and "ice" at the drink bar, with the ice label being disproportionately large. There are some concerns about the service, as the place is usually busy and it seems like they may be understaffed at times. Overall, it is a good restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of Japanese and Western dishes at a reasonable price in a relaxed atmosphere. Caramel Honey Pancakes (two layers) ¥349, Drink Bar ¥259

I went to the Denny's in front of Machiya Station, which is holding a Uji Matcha Fair, and tried the Uji Matcha Kurukuru Galette. It is a thick and voluminous galette rolled with red beans and mochi. The mochi has a strong presence. It is chewy! The galette itself is sweet but not too sweet. It goes really well with ice cream, alternating between vanilla and matcha flavors. The cream may have been a bit too sweet. It's perfect for accompanying work while lazily sipping coffee from the drink bar.

Having breakfast at Denny's between Tokyo Metro Machiya Station and Keisei Machiya Station is nice once in a while. I arrived around 9 am on Saturday and it was quite crowded. The morning menu includes the option to choose your favorite combination from the Select Morning or Japanese breakfast. I wanted to have rice, but the Japanese breakfast doesn't come with a drink bar. So, I chose the Select Morning with rice and miso soup. The main dish was the Baked Egg Morning with two steamed eggs. I wanted to make a sunny-side-up egg rice bowl, so I placed one egg on top of the rice, broke the yolk, and drizzled soy sauce on it. The slight firmness of the egg was perfect. I had some sausages and bacon as side dishes and ate about half of the rice. Then, I added the remaining egg and continued eating. I enjoyed coffee from the drink bar while relaxing. Such mornings are nice once in a while.

The Denny's located in front of Machiya Station is spacious with comfortable seating arrangements, allowing customers to relax and enjoy their meal at a leisurely pace. It is a convenient place to visit for a casual dining experience.

If you want to take it easy, this place is the best. Free refills on coffee make me happy.

I was able to spend a relaxing morning cafe time in a spacious and comfortable interior. Grateful.
